Michael sat down on the wooden bed. The bed is made out of a soft bush that has been imported from the eastern country. This extra soft bed is only available for the higher rank hunter tree house since it's cost quite a lot and luxury to have one.
He has been here for a week without going out. Gurara visits him two to three times a day when he has free time. The old man tries to console Michael and lift up his spirit but, nothing seems to work.
Michael has fallen into a state of depression. He rarely eats and rarely talks to Gurara. He only sits there and curses himself for how useless he is. In this state, the only thing that keeps him from actually dying is Gurara's visits and warm hugs. He often stares out the window and watches other people go about their life.
The Boniha people are truly powerful. Michael often sees them carrying big monsters on their back. He often wonders what would happen if he was born Bonihas. He wouldn't have this problem right now and he would be celebrating with Gurara.
That night a storm hit Boniha island.
-----
Out on the sea a brown vessel cut through a stormy ocean. The sail has been pulling up as the rain pours down on all the crew. A figure could be seen commanding all the crew to scoop out all the water that has been stuck on the ship.
Black hair and aquamarine eyes define this female figure. She dons a black captain outfit with white features sitting atop her big hat. Covering her eyes is a glasses shaped like snake eyes and a blue frame.
"Captain... I think we will arrive at Boniha in about a week if we can cut through this storm." The scrawny crewmember asked while he dump a bucket full of water out of the ship.
"Great! steer the ship and head directly toward it."
"Captain! Why are we heading to Boniha? I heard that they kill and eat foreigners." another Crew member asked with concern on his face.
"No! I heard that they keep them as a prisoner and have them fight in a colosseum!"
"They have a colosseum? I thought they were a bunch of illiterate tribe people who only value strength."
"That's only rumors spread by the mainlanders. They are actually a technologically advanced race that transcends destiny!"
"That's even more stupid than my theory!"
"All of you shut up!" The Captain shouted "We have an insight that the Boniha tribe people are weak. Their main force is fighting on Sehera for royalty. We'll take advantage of that and plunder their village."
"Is Boniha village even worth plundering? This backwater island seems to be only using a primitive weapon to hunt." It's common knowledge that Boniha island is against the mainlanders. So they haven't got most of the technological advancement from the mainland.
"Just shut up and drain the water!"
The ship endured the stormy weather.

cleek
Gurara enters Michael's room and sees that the kid is sitting in the same position as in the morning.
"Michael I will leave this here Ok?"
Gurara put down a plate of food that he prepare for Mciahel and sit next to him.
"Michael, good news. The next ship will arrive in 4 months and you could get on it to Sehera. I'll send my sister there. She might be a little weird but quite reliable."
"You're not coming?" Michael asks with a hoarse voice. He's been crying all day so his voice is really dry.
Gurara shake his head and said, "No, I've got my duty to do here."
"Then I'm not going...."
"Michael, I know that going to Sehera might be hard for you but, being here isn't a good choice either. The people here don't welcome you." Gurara paused for a moment then continues "I'm sorry Michael. I should have sent you away years ago... but it's better late than never. I promise you that when I'm done with my duty I'll visit you there. OK?"
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise."
They both do the pinky promise and Michael wipes off his tears. He calms down after he heard that he could get out of there in 4 months. At that time he could be free from this place where people hate him.
When Gurara left Mciahel grabs his silver neckless and caress it. It is square in shape and also square pattern on it. This necklace is the only thing left by his mother. Michael always keeps it with him even if he barely recalls his mother's face.
When he touched it he could feel the earth from the cold hard metal. It reminds him of when he was little and happier.
-----
The next morning Michael ventured into the forest. After losing that fight, the village couldn't care less about him and let him through the village area quite easily. They even bet how long could Michael survive in the forest.
Today Michael is feeling better than before but, that is not the reason he's in the forest. The real reason is to find Brava. The only person Michael could call a friend. Even if they are not Aquitaine for a long time Michael still has a deep connection with Brava.
In the forest, he went south to find Brava. However, after searching for Hours Michael could not find Brava. The only thing that he found was an alma lizard. The weird transparent kind that Michael encounters in the trial.
He watches as the lizard fights with another lizard. It's quite a strange sight as Both of the alma lizards did not have sharp teeth. They only swing their tail and bite their opponent awkwardly. It seems like their only strong point is a water attack and their large jaw that could swallow small monsters.
Michael camouflages himself with mud and sneaks past all the Alma lizard that is still fighting. He heads back to his room and isolates himself from the world again. Even getting himself out of Gurara's house is already so hard for him.
Still, he doesn't want to leave Brava in the dark about his departure he has to find Brava in the future and tell him about it. However, Michael will remain docile for the time being.
And just like that another week passed.
