The Mysterious Map

After Kael told the story about his dream, Leo suggested he forget about it, fearing people might think he had gone crazy. They went to look for Zohar and Kian, and in the meantime, Kian and Zohar arrived at Leo's house where they met his wife, Yuki.

"Hey, Yuki, is Leo at home?" Zohar asked. "No, he just left. What's going on?" Yuki replied.

"Nothing, we just need to talk to him," Kian answered, and then left Yuki alone and went to the port where they found Leo and Kael.

"I have a question in general, because I didn't even know we had maps. Could you show them to me?" Kian said to Leo.

"Yes, just be careful because they're very delicate," Leo replied, handing Kian old-looking maps. Kian unfolded them and saw a map of old Europe, from before the flood, but he couldn't understand anything from them. There were no country or city names on the map.

"I think it's just a map pattern and not the actual map," Kian said after a while. Kael looked at him and added, "I thought so too, but if you look at them under the light, you can see some numbers, like it's some kind of code."

"Possible. That's why we can't give them away. Do you know anyone who draws well?" Leo said, patting Kael on the back. Kian initially disagreed, but still agreed not to give away the maps. So they went to the workshop, where they tried to redraw the map. However, they realized that they didn't have the artistic skills to draw it correctly. When they were giving up, Yuki entered the workshop.

"Hey guys, do you want something to drink?" Yuki asked. Leo quickly said, "Yuki, didn't you say you draw well?"

"Yes, I did. What's going on?" she replied after a while.

"In general, would you be able to draw the same map as this one here?" Kian added, showing Yuki the map. She replied that she might be able to, but she needed time.

After a while, she said, "Okay, I'll try," and started drawing and painting for two and a half hours until she finally finished, saying, "It's done, just remember that it needs to dry. So don't touch it for now."

After Yuki left the workshop, Kian and the rest focused on the real map, and then recorded the numbers that were on it.

"Hey, move the light closer," Kael said, and Leo moved the white lamp on the desk next to them. "Oh yes, now it's good!" Kael exclaimed, and then gave the numbers "fifty-one point five zero seven four and zero point one two seven eight."

"But what do they mean?" Zohar added. After a while, Kian answered, walking to the window and peeking out, "I don't know, but we have to give it to them then. Maybe they'll know and explain it to us."

"Do you think so?" Leo asked. After a moment, Kian replied, "Maybe not, but there's no fun without risk, right?"

After taking the map, they headed to the port where a new boat made from parts of older versions awaited them. It looked like it was about to fall apart, but everyone assured them it wouldn't. They said something special was used to make it unique. The bottom was wooden and the sides were steel. The boat had two old gasoline engines that only ran at thirty percent of their power. Fifteen people could fit on board. Someone shouted.

Getting on the boat, they lowered it down with steel ropes and swaash-doo touched the water. Luckily, the boat was intact, so they set off towards the merchant platform where they had arrived the day before.

"So, we're sailing," said Kian, starting both engines *drrryom-drrryom-kssss*. "Okay, they're working, so everything's fine," said Leo.

They headed towards the merchants. On the way, they also encountered a new species that had been following them for some time. It looked like a whale, but it wasn't, or it was a completely different species. It had strange patterns that shimmered with blue light. They had never seen anything like it before, and when it surfaced to breathe, the color changed to green.

"Hey guys, look, some boats are heading our way," Kael said. Leo added, "I see them now."

When those boats arrived at Leo, Zohara, Kian, and Kael, it turned out to be pirates.

"Guys, just stay calm," Kian said, before getting hit in the head with a hard object and fainting. Others tried to defend themselves against them, but they ended up the same way. "Remember, the boss wants them alive," Zohar heard in her semi-conscious state.
