The Lost City of Pirates

Leo and his companions were kidnapped and imprisoned in a dark room without access to sunlight. It was so dark that they couldn't see their own noses. Each of them was in a different room, measuring two meters by three and so low that they couldn't stand up straight. Leo shouted, "Is anyone there?" but received no answer because each of the rooms was soundproof. Despite their attempts to call out and ask questions, Leo could only hear the dripping of water: "plop...plop". This went on for the next two hours until someone opened the door and handed them food. "Who are you and what do you want?" Leo asked, but received no answer.

After someone closed the door, Leo slowly began to feel his way towards the plate of food. Even though he didn't trust the people who had taken him captive, he quickly ate everything.

A moment or two passed when the door was opened and the light blinded Leo for a moment. Shortly afterwards, a bag was placed over his head and he didn't know what was happening. He began to ask, "Who are you and what do you want?" but to no avail. He continued to ask questions, but stopped when he heard Zohar's voice and other people's voices.

"Zohar, are you here?" Leo asked and didn't have to wait long for an answer. "It's you, Leo, thank goodness. Are the others here too?" Kael and Kian's voices were heard a moment later.

"So, gentlemen, what were you looking for in those parts?" the mysterious person asked. After a moment, Kian said, "Maybe you could take that thing off our heads first?"

That person nodded, and then four men dressed in torn and dirty clothing approached Kian and the rest and removed the bags from their heads. "Now, are you willing to talk?" the person who had been standing with their back to them, looking exactly like the one from Kael's dream, asked.

"Despite there being no trees or sunlight there, the person standing there still resembled the one described by Kael," thought Leo.

"So we saw your maps and we know what's on them. Now we have one question, where did you get them?" the person in the black sweatshirt asked as they entered the room. A moment later, Leo carefully considered what to say, but when he was about to say something, Zohar interrupted him: "We found them in some old wreckage."

"Where is it located?" the person asked again, adding, "And where are my manners? I haven't introduced myself. My name is Parnat and I am the ruler of these waters." After a moment, Leo laughed, saying, "These waters, meaning what?" The guards who were guarding the room reached for their weapons, but the ruler stopped them, saying, "It doesn't matter that you don't know who I am. That's why I want you to come outside." When they finally left the room, they saw something incredible. Although it was a platform, there were so many boats underneath it that it looked like land. There were markets and many people. "Fish, fresh fish!" could be heard. It was as if people wanted to return to what was before the catastrophe.

"Amazing," Kian said, marveling at the views while wondering if this was where they were supposed to have arrived.

"I have a question, Parnat," Kian said. After a moment's hesitation, Parnat replied, "Go ahead."

"Can we go somewhere to talk in private?" Kian asked. He didn't have to wait long for an answer, and they went to the place they had come from.

"So, what's on your mind?" Parnat asked, curious. After a moment's thought, Kian asked, "Do you believe there might be more land out there somewhere?" Parnat, contemplating the answer, sat down on the ground and asked, "Do we even need that land?"

Not knowing what to say, Kian looked at Parnat and said, "Can we just go back to where we live then?" After a moment, Parnat replied, "Of course. But not today. Today, go sleep at the tavern."

So, still pondering what exactly had happened that day, they went inside. Everyone looked at them with curiosity, as they had never seen people dressed in such a way before.

"What can I get you?" the waitress asked.

"Yes, we'd like some water and something to eat," Kian said. After some time, they received their food. On a board, they were served a steak and a fruit they had never seen before. Additionally, they were given a second dish - pumpkin soup and wine. If that wasn't enough, they also received a pan-fried fish that was placed on half of the table. They had never seen such a specimen before. It looked like a piranha, but not as frightening as it was when raw. The waitress described it as purple with green eyes and blue patterns.

During the storytelling, the local minstrel began to sing and play an instrument, "doom...clap..clap." Someone also started singing, and you could say that the party lasted until late at night.
