Going Back to Base 1

The darkness present in the forest slowly receded as Vather and Arnold opened their eyes and jumped down from the tree.Vather checked his system as he saw his energy was completely filled.He couldn't help but smile to himself as he'll finally be leaving this place today.

"Are you ready"he asked Arnold as looked as the red haired man before him.

"Yeah, let's go"he replied as they both faded away from where they were standing, shockwave blasted around the place as a golden beam of light and a red coloured beam both disappeared moving with speed towards the swamp.

They both arrived in the familiar place,that was permanently saturated with water.Above the water are lands present here and there on the swamp,as they sometimes could be seen slightly moving.

"Are these..?"

"Yes they're swamp snakes,all at the middle meridian forging stage.They are a total of fifty present in it.They don't have any unique ability as they only use their physical body for attacking,I believe you can handle them all on your own,right?"Vather asked as he stared at Arnold beside him.

"Yes,it will only be a little troublesome,what about you?"

"I have a little skirmish with a special one among them,I think it's time we properly resolve it.Don't worry about me, I'm good."

Vather said as his golden hair suddenly began to flare in golden light as they slowly rose into the air defying gravity itself.He slowly levitated in the air, powerful golden light emanated from his hands and legs as shockwaves continuously blasted out around him due to the pure power he was emitting but Arnold was still able to stand beside him unaffected by the shockwaves as if he was rigged into the ground revealing just how powerful he also is.

"So what's the plan,"Arnold asked as a gigantic blood red scythe appeared in his hand.

"The plan?The plan is there's no plan"Vather said as cracks rang out in the floor behind him.

"Roger that.Wait what?"Arnold was already moving towards the swamp when he automatically stopped and looked at Vather wondering if he had misheard.

A beam of light and lightning was all he saw as Vather already disappeared into the swamp,moving with horrific speed towards the edge as the swamp was blasted into two from the speed, anything present in his path violently blown into gore.

Arnold looked at the rapidly fading away golden light as he muttered to himself.

"he's fast, horrifyingly fast" as even to him all he saw was a blur.The swamp snakes present in the swamp immediately emerged from the swamps as they prepare to immediately follow after the intruder when suddenly a red beam of light flared behind them as they felt an aura that make their snake scale crawl.

"oi,oi,oi,your opponent is me"Arnold said as his dark pupils slowly became blood red.Fangs pierced out of his mouth as claws emerged from his hands.His already blood red hair shone with another shade of ominous blood red light as an evil smile appeared on his lips.He suddenly glitched as his figure disappeared from where he was standing.

A gigantic scythe tore through the world with speed,the air shrieked madly as it was immediately torn into two,fire blazed on the scythe due to the horrifying friction as three huge heads soared into the sky.Blood poured like a fountain into the swamp dying the whole water red as three huge headless body landed weakly into the swamp below.

But instead of the remaining snakes immediately making a run for it.Thirty snake heads immediately closed in on him in the next second as they opened their maws wide intent on devouring him in a single gulp.

Bloodlust radiate from Arnold's body in maddening intensity as the blood around him slowly rose into the air forming a type of cage around him and the snakes.

"Now let's begin shall we"a voice echoed in the cage as a blood red devil holding a scythe moved with horrific speed towards thirty heads.Horrifying boom sound echoed continuously in the cage as a world shaking battle took place in it.

Vather moved through the swamp with speed as all his element blazed on him furiously.The blood red colour covering part of his hair shone a blood red light as for the first time he felt an urge to kill.Bloodlust rolled in waves from him as he thought of the foe he was about to fight.

A rune slowly appeared in his left eye shining with a blue light as his gaze locked onto the gigantic snake below him.

He landed on the ground with a boom causing a gigantic pit to appear in the land as the water present in the place was forcefully blown away into vapor.A circular path appeared around him,as he raised his head and stared at the gigantic snake that was towering above him.

"When I first came here,you tried to kill me immediately as you thought me an insignificant intruder of your home.If I had only been just a bit weaker than I was,then that tail smack would have killed me.So I've come back now, bringing with me the rage of an insignificant intruder."

Vather said within clenched teeth,but all he got was an amusing smile from the snake's maw as it looked at him as if he was only looking at his foolish prey who was able to narrowly escape from it the last time but was so foolish to come ask for his death again by challenging it.

"I won't use my spear for this fight.You're not worthy of it.I'll properly brutalize your scales with my fist as I use your blood to wash away my rage."

A roar boomed out of Vather's mouth as he slammed his pillar of a leg into the ground causing to immediately shatter like glass as clenched his hands into a fist.His clenched fists brimmed with horrifying light and lightning as he forcefully increased his own heartbeat causing cosmic force to enter into every inch of his own body as the air around him quivered madly as if he was an atomic bomb on the verge of being released.

Shockwaves blasted out in a ring shape from Vather as he disappeared from he was standing.A fist tore through the air with speed as space around it flowed like water.A punch slammed on the snake's jaw as it felt it's entire body lifted off the ground and sent reeling backwards with speed creating deep pits on the ground as the snake king found itself unable to stop it's backwards momentum,but how could Vather ignore an old snake in need of an helping hand.

Two palms brimming with powerful light and lightning slammed into the head of the snake king as he felt itself reeling downwards with speed causing a five meter deep hole to emerge on the ground.Vather landed on the gigantic head within a blink of an eye as his fists slammed into the head causing large blood to pour out from the head and onto his body,but his maddening smile only widened on his face as he kept punching with speed causing a phantom of thousands of fists to appear around him.The five meter deep hole the snake landed on has been turned to a ten metres deep hole as every blow of his kept pushing the snake deeper into the ground.

He continued his brutalizing when suddenly a beam of darkness emerged from the circular mark on the snakes forehead.Vather felt a gigantic pillar of darkness pushing him into the air with horrifying speed.He madly roared into the sky as jerked his hand to the back and slammed his golden colored fist on the beam.

A gigantic beam of golden coloured light pierced through the gigantic darkness beam as it was immediately torn into pieces and faded away illuminated by the light.

Vather slowly landed on the ground,as he took a good look on the monstrosity before him.A monstrosity oozing with horrifying amount of darkness, enough to make him suck in a deep breath in as his all hair stood on end.
