A gigantic mass of darkness was standing before Vather.The circular dark mark on the snake king could be seen radiating an aura of darkness as the scales were radiating a dark gas.Darkness surrounded Vather as a type of domain enclosed him within.As he looked around the place,he quickly tried to focus his attention back on the snake but it was gone.

Vather ignore the snake's absence as powerful golden light flared out from his being.A gigantic bloodline phantom of a golden coloured man appeared behind him.Behind him was revolving rings of light which started revolving with speed as the dimensional energy was absorbed into his golden light core.

The core compressed the dimensional energy turning it into pure Astral light that passed into his meridians and appeared on his body.The golden light flaring from him immediately create a circular domain of light of about ten metres around him.

He knew, although he can't completely banish the darkness as he contained less energy in his core compared to a beast at the middle core formation stage,he could make up for that with quality of his true Astral light and besides the ability used by the snake that can completely conceal it presence making it undetectable and also cover the area around it in total darkness must be a powerful ability and the more powerful the ability is, the more quickly it's energy will be drained.

But how could the snake king be unaware of this.Three gigantic tails completely covered in darkness slammed towards Vather with speed as they slammed powerfully on the rings of light around him.Vather spread out his two hand as he threw a punch three times causing horrifying booms I'm the air.

Suddenly blood poured out of his mouth as his pupils constricted.

"The power behind the tails has increased twice in power".He muttered to himself as another tree tails of darkness slammed towards him giving him no time to breath.Golden lightning flared powerfully from Vather's hand as he hardened the blood around his fist and threw a punch at the tails.Horrifying boom sound kept emerging as a stalemate occured between Vather and the tails as they were doing next to no damage him.But that didn't make him drop his guard for once as a feeling of danger overwhelmed his senses.

He immediately looked up towards the sky as he felt something being built up there, something enough to make him feel fear,but all Vather saw was just darkness.A star rune appeared in Vather's left eye as he activated the Eye of Infinity.

His gaze easily pierced through the darkness as he saw the snake king's head high above him.A gigantic orb of darkness was gathered in it's maw as Vather's gaze easily pierced through it's body.He noticed all the energy present in it's core was being poured into the orb in it's mouth.

'So the tail attack was just a distraction as it planned to finish the attack in one strike with the darkness orb'.He didn't doubt a little that after this attack it will be completely spent as the snake king was also very confident of the attack taking away his opponent life in a single hit.

"Then let me shatter your confidence,as I stare at the look of despair in your eyes when you have no energy left."

Three bloodline phantom appeared behind him as all the dimensional energy present in the air was absorbed into him.His body flared with powerful light and lightning as all the blood in him immediately hardened.

White light emerged from Vather as he activated origin tempering.Pure power flooded into his entire body as the space around him flowed like water, just on the verge of shattering from the power he was releasing.

An incredible orb of darkness moved towards Vather from above as the ground beneath him repeatedly cracked from the force of the attack even though it has not even landed yet.

Vather roared like a chained beast trying to free itself as he disappeared from where he was standing.Two hands flaring with golden light and lightning met the orb in the middle of the sky as it collided with it dead on.

Horrifying shockwaves blasted out continuously from the point of collision.All the swamp water has already been evaporated as the area around them was devoid of anything.

Vather roared madly as he felt himself slowly sinking back to the ground from the power of the orb.Golden light and lightning flared even powerfully from his hand,but he could see strenth being sapped from him continuously and he knew he won't last for long.

Vather's pupils constricted as he couldn't believe even with his strength he still couldn't stop the orb.

The snake king who was already sapped of every ounce of strength and lying faraway looked at its foolish prey who was slowly being pushed into the ground,and would soon be killed from the power of the orb.Even though it had used all the power contained in it's core and it might take at least twenty years if not more to recover it's strength.It felt it was worth it as he'll finally be able to kill it's hateful foe.That was when it's pupils constricted as different emotions emerged from his face starting from disdain then surprise and then absolute shock.

Vather saw as all his struggle was in vain as he thought to himself,how he'll foolishly die here.

His eyes slowly closed as his reminisce about his life,his unaccompanied goals.

His goals of defeating the devirs.

His goals of revitalizing his dead clan.

His real father who was very confident in him as he told his adopted father he was the key to win the war.

His bloodline brother,the first Supreme Blood Heir who was still waiting for him to come give him a worthy battle.

His lineages The Infinity Guardians who were still waiting for a person capable of fulfilling the worlds will.

His True Astral light bloodline who was still waiting for him to fulfill the bloodline burdens.But now he will be failing all of them as he'll be dying to a foolish snake at the middle core formation stage.Just how foolish of him.Why didn't he bring Arnold with him so they can both fight the snake together.Why didn't he wait and become a middle core formation stage before challenging the snake.Why didn't he just swallow his grievances and just live his life peacefully in the world,at least being alive is better than dying.

That was when Vather discovered something, something he hated with every fiber of his being.

Among the Supreme Blood Heirs,he's the weakest.

Among the Infinity Guardians, he's the weakest.

Among the True Astral light guardians,he's the weakest.

Among the Abyssals he's also the weakest.

"You're weak",he could see his father saying that to him as the voice kept reverberating in his being.

"Power,I want power" a voice could be heard from the young man beneath the orb.A voice which started as a gentle whisper before slowly becoming a roar.Vather's eye snapped open as he roared into the air.Blood red light flared from his hair as he thought of just how stupid he is.His Father placed so much confidence in him.The first Supreme Blood Heir believed he was the only opponent worthy of it in the entire cosmos.The Infinity Guardians were still hoping.The Abyssals still believed they will be reawakened one day.How could he die here when so much people trusted him.

A power flared deep within Vather,a power unexplainable,he suddenly felt his strength has been renewed as Vather opened his eyes.His golden eyes flared with light as the runes present in his sky blue eyes was enclosed in another rune in the shape of a circle.

Two blood red arms tore out from Vather's shoulders completely blood red as his hair was completely covered in blood red light.

Four hands slammed against the orb as they were forcefully stopped in their track.

The circular rune in Vather's left eyes slowly started revolving as he felt infinite strength course through his own body.

Slowly the four hands pushed the orb into the air.Vather used his two left hand hands to hold onto the orb while his other two right hands jerked to the back as golden light flared from them.

His eye of Infinity pierced through the gigantic orb as he saw a small dark core present in the middle of it supplying the orb with power.

"True Astral guardian Art first form: illumination" A voice like a whispers of a mother echoed in the air as two fist pierced through the orb and slammed into the dark core present in it.

KABOOOOOOOOOOM

Spatial cracks emerged in the air from the force of the collision,as the power of two light guardian Art exploded.The gigantic snake king was blown even far away from the point of collision as shock appeared on its face.

The collision slowly quieted down as a young man with blood red hair could be seen levitating in the sky.The two blood red arms slowly disappeared from his shoulder leaving him with only two arms.The three gigantic bloodline phantoms disappeared from the world as Vather stood there in the middle of the air concentrating on his new abilities he has gained.

The shock on the snake king faded away as they slowly turned to despair,it immediately use the remaining energy it has left and hurriedly slithered away when a young man with red hair appeared in front of it.

"I told you I'll make you regret trying to kill me and use your blood to wash away my rage in the most cruel way possible didn't I,but you were able to to make me grow stronger and realize the truth.For that I'll reward you with an easy death"a spear appeared in the world as a blade light flashed followed by a gigantic head soaring into the sky.

Vather stared at the gigantic head soaring into the sky as he immediately appeared before it,he could see the snakes eye wide opened in confusion and regret.Vather slowly stretched out his fingers as he gently closed the snake's eyes and held it in his hands.

"That didn't mean I won't be having a good snake meat though"Vather thought to himself as his blood red hair slowly turned back to their golden colour.

Arnold immediately appeared before him a few minutes later as he asked him what's going on.He could hear the horrifying collisions taking place from faraway as he immediately moved towards here with speed.

"Don't worry, I've resolved it" Vather stared at the corpse of the snake as a gigantic portal was present were it was formerly lying before.

They both stood on the portal as it slowly flashed a green light.Vather looked at the forest before him as he couldn't believe he has been staying for sixteen days already.He was able to grow his strength from the Early meridian forging stage to the early core formation stage.

A smile appeared on Vather's face as he thought to himself 'The next time I come here,then I'll be coming to change the rules of the strong eat weak,and return this place to what it was once before we were invaded'vather said to himself as the portal shone a blinding green light as they both were gone with the light's fading.
