SPARTAN Trapped in the MCU

The UNSC Infinity or INF-101 is an experimental supercarrier that was commissioned at the end of the Human-Covenant War. She was built in secret using not only the most advanced human technology, but also incorporated Forerunner and Covenant technology recovered during the war. The largest ship ever to be commissioned by humans, she had a length of 5,694.2 meters or 18,682 feet, a width of 833.3 meters or 2,734 feet and height 1,041.2 meters or 3,416 feet.

The ship was originally built for war, a colonizing war ship designed not only to spearhead battles with its vast array of sensors and weaponry, but also carried its own fleet within.

Carrying six Strident-class heavy frigates which were perfect for escort and swift-attack missions, they were extremely versatile vessels. Although not as heavily armored as other frigates it was extremely fast and could synchronize with other frigates to coordinate attacks or defensive measures together.

Accompanying the six Strident-class frigates were four Anlace-class light frigates. These were more support type frigates and could be loaded with multiple modular mission packs, such as reconnaissance or disruption. When equipped with the electronic warfare pack it can mask the UNSC fleet presence from sensors as well as stopping any communication on the enemies side. Two Anlace-class frigates are capable of blanket jamming an entire planet, effectively cutting off any chances of calling for reinforcements for the planet.

Not only did it carry the 10 large frigates internally but also hundreds of ground and aerial vehicles, all with specific purposes and specialties. Some for space warfare and others for atmospheric battles.

Within minutes the lone Infinity could deploy all 10 frigates and hundreds of attack vehicles such as the F-41E Broadsword, FSS-1000 Sabres and GA-TL1 Longswords.

Not only was the Infinity extremely combat efficient but was also almost fully self sustainable. It was built with its own manufacturing plants that produced ammunition as well as any parts needed to repair itself or any other fleet vessel needed. It also contained greenhouses and gardens that not only grew food for the crew but also contained habitats with livestock, however these could only be used as supplemental supply since it would not be able to feed its crew for much longer than half a year if the ship was fully manned and not received a resupply of food.

Infinity's scientific capabilities were on par with even the most scientific research facilities across the galaxy, so much so that Infinity housed some of the brightest minds across the human race. New weapons were being developed and created right aboard the ship. This allowed for safe testing of new armaments immediately upon creation and any successful advances in tech could be applied directly to Infinity and her fleet.

Currently within the Infinity who is shuttling thru slip-space en route to battle, a group of scientists are working within the most secure and secretive lab aboard the Infinity.

The room was all white except for a large glass cylinder in the middle of the room which three of the ten researchers are currently working on. Within the glass container a lone human man floated within the light blue waters, his large muscular six foot nine inch frame was imposing. His hair was pitch black but short, his eyes closed as if in a deep sleep, tattooed onto his left chest just above the heart, the words SPARTAN-X.

Codename Adam, he was the first advancement made after years of working to advance the SPARTAN project. After the success of SPARTAN was seen by the UNSC they had secretly created Project Adam as the ultimate weapon, the beginning of a new age in human evolution.

Taking the DNA from various species obtained after the Covenant was defeated, they had even been able to locate the full DNA sequence of ancient humans or high-humans who had all but went extinct thanks to the Forerunners and the Flood. Currently some humans had a little of ancient human DNA thus becoming Reclaimers since only they could activate Forerunner tech, so the UNSC tasked Cortana to artificially create a human giving it all the best traits such as increased strength, intelligence, endurance, and agility then add a completely revamped and boosted SPARTAN procedure using the newly confiscated technology after the war.

Cortana did just so, being the most advanced AI created to date she began using Doctor Halsey's research and success in SPARTAN 1-4 and began testing. After she had been able to multiply the serum injections effects by ten times, she began working on the physical augments using new technology they downloaded into her database.

Using Forerunner technology and her own ingenuity she was able to supplement the Carbide Ceramic Ossification with a material that would not only increase bone density but also increase muscle density and wasn't restricted to the original 3% maximum bone structure coverage the previous augment had. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to produce enough white blood cells to survive, Cortana fixed this issue and was able to augment the body fully with no side effect.

The Catalytic Thyroid Implants were boosted with stem cells along with hormones to promote growth and fast recovery, as well as keeping the body fully regulated at all times for optimum performance. This would give the ability to heal from even the most grievous wounds within minutes.

Occipital Capillary Reversal got a boost as well. Not only did it give a dramatic increase to visual perception, it provided a variety of other abilities such as thermal and x-ray, as well as a HUD that could display needed information.

Superconducting Fibrication of Neural Dentrites received the biggest boost of all. This procedure originally gave a 300% increase in reflexes, intelligence, memory and creativity. Now not only would the new implant increase those same attributes by a factor of ten, the new implant also provided a bio-electric field that could be used for shielding or flight.

For the Muscular Enhancement Injections they not only further condensed the muscle tissue and improved healing, it also boosted its efficiency in healing and recovery further. This would allow continual peak performance for undetermined amounts of time. A soldier with infinite potential.

Then she designed the power armor, designed specifically for the new soldier, the suit incorporated updated technology including nanotechnology which provided a wide range of munitions that would not only be versatile but self replenishing.

Each nanobot that made whatever ordinance Adam wanted, also the ammunition was magnetically tied to the suit. After hitting the target, the bots separate and are magnetically pulled back into the storage units spread across the armor. This not only meant infinite ammo but also no forensics would be left behind besides the explosion or bullet hole itself, no bullet or fragments would be left.

It also contained the typical energy weapons to compliment the nanotechnology in case you had to battle extremely large numbers. The armor was an upgraded and customized Mjolnir Mark VII. It used nanobots for automatic repair of both the suit and user, a next-gen fusion-plasma hybrid power system, Atmospheric insertion and Slipspace de-insertion capabilities, and an onboard AI to assist in target location and tactical awareness. It was all black with gold trim and lettering with a golden visor.

After Cortana had created the technology it was passed down to a team to implement the project. Not long after, the research was put into practice.

For years the project moved forward on the Infinity where it could be hidden from all, since technically the genetic growth of an artificial human was highly illegal. This was also why when Cortana went rogue she focused much effort into locating and trying to take over the Infinity.

She knew her creation was aboard the ship, she wanted to take her Adam and use him to further her goals in universal dominance and peace. He was the ultimate super soldier, a weapon of mass destruction. The higher-ups knew what Cortana was after which was why they even abandoned the Earth when Cortana had shown up.

When Infinity escaped much of the Earth and even the Lunar base was wiped out. Over half the Earth and the whole Lunar base lost power along with any spaceships still trying to defend the Earth from her EMP blast she used to try to cripple the Infinity. Those in the Lunar stations suffocated to death while those on the ships did as well or plummeted to Earth. Although the crew of Infinity all had a bad taste in their mouths from abandoning their home planet, most knew it was for the best.

To most of the crew, they only knew the Infinity was their flagship and if taken over could wreak havoc on them like none other. For those higher in rank they knew it was to keep Adam from Cortana. The only reason they haven't awoken Adam yet was because the galaxy was now supposed to be peaceful, the war was won by Master Chief. The Covenant was no more so the need for such a weapon in service wasn't needed, so they continued to improve him little by little.

Programming battle experience using simulated battles in all terrains, space warfare, atmospheric aerial combat, ground combat including close quarters and urban warfare. Inlaid within the military knowledge were packets of scientific studies such as physics and mathematics, computer sciences and engineering. This would make him a one man team; demolition, espionage, infiltration, commander and assault specialist all wrapped in one neat package.

They couldn't let Cortana get her hands on him, their goal? Hide from Cortana until Project Adam was fully ready. He would take command of Infinity and her fleet and counterattack Cortana with the full might of the UNSC.

Today was the end of hiding, the Infinity received vital information on Cortana's whereabouts. She was currently at Installation 07, a massive ring installation built by the Forerunners located in the Ephsu system found in the Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way galaxy. Its primary function was galactic sterilization, Flood containment and research. It was the only surviving ring from the original main array of 12.

Although Project Adam was activated, there were some complications in the personality matrix thus causing a delay in him waking up. Rather than awaiting his full activation the acting commander, against all protests, decided to launch the attack on the installation.

This mistake cost them greatly because they stepped directly into a trap designed specifically for them by Cortana. She had calculated that Adam would be ready by this time so purposely wanted to draw the Infinity to her.

Immediately upon exiting Slipspace, Cortana was ready and two repurposed Covenant ships now piloted by the Banished, emitted a pulse that knocked out both repulsor engines and the Slipspace engine taking them offline. With its engines offline it began to be bombarded with heavy enemy fire.

Being dead in the water with no immediate way to retaliate or evade the attacks the commander issued the order to abandon ship.

At this time, after many had abandoned the ship already, the Slipspace engine came online. Master Chief, who had arrived earlier and had begun his assault, had been able to knock out one of the pulse emitters which was keeping the engines offline.

The onboard tactical computer immediately shut down the life pods stopping anymore exits and activated the Slipspace engines after detecting Cortana invading the ships systems, amongst those at the battle the vision of the Infinity disappearing in a flash was reported after the hard fought battle ended.

Many believed the ship was destroyed since it entered Slipspace with an incomplete functioning navigation system.

Little did they know the ship survived, although internal systems were a mess the Titanium-A3 Battleplate held up even after the energy shielding gave way.

However although the ship survived, none in the universe would know, for a disturbance caused by an artifact from another universe had contorted space and time so that upon entering the Slipspace the Infinity and remaining crew were pulled into a universe not of their own.

Upon exiting the Slipspace, Adams eyes fluttered open as he lay in a brightly lit room. Sitting up with a groan, flashes of memories bombard his brain, one of a life of a normal everyday guy.

He remembered playing his favorite game Halo as his friend watched the first Avenger movie since they had decided to watch the whole MCU in chronological order while a large thunderstorm raged outside. In the middle of playing a flash of white and then darkness. He remembered meeting someone in the void and offered a chance at life for the entertainment of the being.

Looking around a scowl appeared on Adams face, 'Fuck, I've been made into a circus monkey'. He couldn't help but think. Although that was short lived, after observing the room and getting a strange sense of familiarity, his eyes stopped at a mirror.

Touching his face and seeing the reflection doing the same confirmed what he was seeing was himself. He was tall and handsome, with short dark black hair and piercing dark blue eyes that glowed with energy slightly. His body was built like a heavyweight MMA fighter, his skin a soft rosey pale color with runic tattoos down his arms, and standing at a full six foot nine he was an imposing figure.

'Damn, well at least I'm a good looking monkey.' Adam thought as he surveyed further until his eyes landed on an armor he was all too familiar with. Although it looked more sleek he could tell it was a Mjolnir armor, the helm and visor was a dead giveaway since it was one of the most important parts of the armor. It linked the armor and various sensors to the wearer allowing commands to the suit be issued with a thought.
