Finally, the [Nomads], we're like the free folk from GOT. We're the ones staying away from the political game, trying our best not to piss off anyone, but we're also those that end up killed more often than not because we're the monsters.

We either get caught, end up hunting in someone else's territory, or get employed for doing dirty work dirty cheap, all because most of us are not taught how to survive.

Yay, life is so much fun when you are a bottom feeder.

Any Vampire that is not part of the other four groups is automatically a [Nomad], so that is that.

I still vividly remember how, after this explanation at that time, I asked him: "But why are there still human's around if there are so many Vampires around?".

Apparently, there are enough threats that keep 'us' vampires in check.

There are the [hunters], a group of normal humans trained to hunt and kill monster's, then their magical counterpart known as [Shadowhunters], basically hunters but enhanced through some bullshit magic.

Next on the list are all the [Were-beasts], [the Skin-changers], and the [magical-ones], like [Djinns], [Witches], [Wizards], [Ghosts] and other unexplainable bullshit that is plaguing this world.

Long story short, despite us vampires having an absolute advantage in army vs army situation.

We still get wiped out before we actually manage to mature, and only a few are lucky, strong, or smart enough to manage to survive and grow up.

Like come on, as if my life was not hard enough until that point, but nah I had to transmigrate into a hard-mode setting world!

Honestly, though, I find solace in knowing that Nature is the same for everyone, even for vampires.

As a Vampire I am already cursed enough to just have one single type of food that I can eat, aka blood, but then I had to also worry about getting wiped out at any moment?

Just because I am hunting in someone else's territory, or I am unlucky enough to encounter some pissed off Doggo taking a walk under the moon, or some random hunter that has moved in across the street.

And just when I thought the bad news were finished, Kum'Boh told me that not even all Nomads can be trusted and may hunt me down. Like if I get in their way, if they are bored enough, or if I have something they want, it seems trustworthy people are extremely rare during the long nights.

I don't like this kind of dog-eats-dog world that I have transmigrated into, this was my only thought at that moment.

Although death lingered behind every corner, not everything was as bleak as I assumed at that moment. Kum'Boh told me that even though I am a [Nomad] my progenitor, the bitch that left me hanging, was a [Day walker], and this means that I've certain advantages.

Like, for example, I won't die to sun-light, but I may or may not turn into a lightbulb depending on the kind of Day walker I am, this needs further testing.

I also do not need to sleep in a coffin filled with earth from where I was buried, unlike some old ones in the Coven. I may even be lucky enough to have some [Special power], if I turn into a lightbulb under the sun.
