Roxanne POV

As soon as I walked out of Xavion I could tell that he was going after me

"Don't come with me Xavion "I said

"no I won't leave you alone"He said and I stopped.

"just let me go alone please "I said

"Ok then be careful ok "He said

"Ok "I said and walked out I arrived at the building next to the school I wanted to go in but the securities wouldn't let me in.

"Let me in! let me in! "I yelled at them

"you can't go in there "He said

"Ok fine ! I'll leave "I said as I turned back before running in again they wanted to hold me but I slipped out of his hand.

"Miss miss"They called me back

"What's going on"I heard a voice that sounded familiar.

Nick walked to me looking at the man holding me.

"Well well looking who we have here"He said smirking before grabbing me by hand aggressively.

"Hey"I exclaimed he dragged me to the living room and pushed me to the ground .

Kai looked at me I really felt like slapping his face.

"What do you want"Nick Said

"I want to speak to him "I said facing Kai.

"You misused your chance already"He said.

"I need to speak to you "I said.

"Ok then speak"He said

"Alone"I said and the boys chuckled and I gritted my teeth in anger.

Kai looked at the boys and they stood up and left the room.

"What do you want"He asked me he seemed angry and I could see it.

"To have a deal with you"I said.

"What kind of deal"He asked

"I'll leave your school but I just need few weeks to finish what I'm doing after that I'll leave"I said.

"What are you doing"He said

"It's personal and I can handle it my self but I just want you to leave me alone tell your minions not to bully me because I also don't want to be here but someone told me that I wouldn't regret it and that this was a very beautiful country buy now I'm beginning to think it's all lie"I said

"I wanted to explain but..."

"Do we have a deal"I asked him

"We do but I still ...."He didn't complete his sentence I picked my bag and walked out .

Kai pov

She was stronger than she looks I really want to explain to her why I did what I did but she doesn't want to listen. I was actually sorry but I don't think she'll understand that .She picked her bag and stuffed in a familiar clothes inside. I looked at her weirdly before she left.

I stood up and followed her .

"Yo dude where are you going"Nick asked me

"Where's Zach"I asked.

"He went somewhere"He said I went out of the building to see Zach speaking to Roxanne . She removed a hoodie from her back and gave it to Zach and he collected it .

That son of a bitch he's still seeing her, he doesn't listen . I went back into the building right when I think she was dating Xavion ,she was secretly seeing one of my so-called best friend.

"What's wrong K"Nick said.

"Nothing " I said and went to the room .

Roxanne POV

I actually thought talking to him will be difficult but it wasn't, part of me wanted to listen to him and what he had to say but the other part of me didn't want to hear what he had to say .

I sat down on one of the benches there and took my phone I saved Mr Harry Thompson's digits yesterday. I sighed crossing my fingers hoping it works , Fortunately for me it rang.

"Hello who I'm I speaking with "Mr Harry Thompson said as soon as he picked the call.

"Hello this is Roxanne Quinn I'm Gerald Quinn's daughter am I speaking with Mr Harry Thompson "Roxanne said

"A daughter of Gerald huh , Yes this is Thompson speaking"He said

Roxanne sighed as she continued her sentence.

"um... I would really like to see you in person it's urgent"I said

"I would love too but I'm not in the country now if you would to say anything you can speak now cause I'm afraid this is my only free time"He said.

"Ok sir did my dad ever mention my mom to you"She said confidently.

"Your mom , Lydia ... She was a very beautiful woman"He said

"was what do you mean by that do you know where she is? , is she dead?"She said.

"I don't know if she's dead because I left the country at that time but Edward was them"He said

"Edward..."She said with tears in the corner of her eyes

"Yes Edward Kings "He replied

"I really have to go"He said

"Roxanne I'm really happy I could talk to you but I'm sorry I couldn't give you information about your mother"He said .

She couldn't help it the tears flowed down from her eyes how was she going to find her mom now .

"Roxie"She heard her name ,she quickly wiped her tears

Xavion sat on the bench as he looked at her

"Was she crying?"He thought.

"What's wrong what did Kai do "He said

"Nothing ,Kai did nothing"She said

"So why are you crying"He Said

"I'm not crying"She said

"I saw you crying , don't lie to me"He said

"It's a long story "She said

"Then cut it short "He said , Roxanne tried to change the topic but he insisted ,so she told him her story about how she doesn't know her mom and how she's looking for her ,the story made tears flow from her eyes.

"So ... You don't know how to find this Edward guy"He said

"Yes"She said and wiped her tears .

"Have you searched the guy on the internet "He said.

"N... no"She said

"Search about him and send him a friend request "He said.

"Why didn't I think about that"She said and searched about him she found him on the internet and sent him a friend request .

"Have you done it "He said.

"Yes thank you so much Xavion"She said.

"Oh yeah that reminds me , close your eyes "He said.

"Huh"She exclaimed

"Just close your eyes and don't peek c'mon"He said and she didn't it he stood up .

I felt something cold around my neck what was he doing?

"Okay open your eyes"he said

I opened my eyes and looked at my neck I saw a small necklace on my neck it was so simple and beautiful .

"Wow it's beautiful"I said

"I know like you "He said.

"I saw it and thought of you "He said.

"Xavion"I said

"What "He said acting clueless.

"How much is it ,it looks expensive"I said

"It isn't , it's the cheapest one there"He said

"Then how much does it cost"I Said

"You don't need to know "He said

"Come on you need a break "He said as he took my bag and held my hand. He's so sweet and kind but he's also just a friend.¹⁰
