Shi Rong turned to head to the side. "And what of me, if we merge what shall become of me?"

Her past self smiled sweetly. "Don't worry you shall not lose yourself, we shall become one but will still be yourself."

Shi Rong frowned. "Will I change?"

"No."

Her past self stood up and walked elegantly towards Shi Rong. She stopped slightly behind her. She reached up and grabbed an apple from the air. Its golden skin glistened in the sunlight. "will that conclude your questions?"

Shi Rong glanced at her from the side of her eye then at her sleeve. the words "My Wife" was still burned into the fabric.

"Those words who are they from?"

She glanced at her and shook her head. "I'm afraid I can't answer that question."

"What of Ling Yiyao?"

She spoke softly but sternly. "I'm afraid that question is restricted as well."

Shi Rong knitted her brows in frustration. "How did I originally die, did it have something to do with the Great Overlord War?"

She bit into the apple with and displayed a cunning grin. "Those questions my dear maiden shall be answered in time."

Shi Rong jumped to her feet and frowned. "Then how do we become one."

She turned around while eating the apple then tossed her the cord. "I'm afraid that shall have to wait a few months or years for I require quite a few accommodations. However it is possible for us to merge momentary where you will access to your past abilities, but it shall come with consequences.

"Consequences?"

She nodded lightly. "Merging together is a difficult task one your body couldn't handle therefore I have properly aged us to an appropriate age to withstand the impact however I'm afraid you aren't strong enough to handle the toll therefore it cause quite a significant amount of pain to merge and will eventually lead to exhaustion after over use."

She extended her arms out. A trail of wind followed her every movements. "Which is the reason you are in this state, in the current time you are fast asleep but as you can tell your mind and soul is here."

Shi Rong looked around. "What shall become of me now?"

Her lips raised into a grin as her lips pulled over her teeth. "Now I shall train you on how to properly use the Naginata of Xiandi along with controlling the Heavenly Divine Beasts."
