Lucid Dreams (3)

"Am I dead?" She thought internally as she looked around at the endless valley of flowers. "Ouijie?" there was no reply from inside her soul. She moved her hand and noticed a trail of wind follow her every movement.

She knitted her brows in confusion. "Quijie answer me." There was no reply.

"He's not going to answer you, your dreaming." A soft delicate voice spoke from behind her.

She turned around and gasped when she looked at the woman.

It was her, she was even wearing the blood red robes she acquired from the Heavenly Pavilion but her hair was pinned and styled into a luxurious hairstyle while being held together by a large golden hair clip in the shape of a large dragon.

She circled Shi Rong as she gazed at her with her soft red eyes.

Shi Rong stared at the woman. "Who are you?"

"Who am I?" She spoke softly while poking her slender fingers into her chest. She smiled warmly. "I am you."

Shi Rong was taken aback.

The woman chuckled slightly. "I am the part of your soul which has been lost for the past few thousand year."

"Thousand years, I don't understand." Shi Rong spoke in a daze.

The woman chuckled lightly. Her bell like voice rang through the valley of flowers. "My dear maiden, we are one, everything that I am is you from my wisdom down to my features. The Ancient Heavenly Knowledge is a part of me as well. Unfortunately it took my soul along time to locate its other half."

Shi Rong stared at her in a confused manner.

She chuckled once more then lifted her hand. Two large tree stumps emerged from the ground.

"Please take a seat." She sat down elegantly then waited for Shi Rong to follow suit.

Shi Rong looked around the valley before taking a seat.

Her past self beamed warmly. "I can see you have some questions, I am willing to answer however I shall have my restrictions."

Shi Rong finally spoke up. "Why is my soul split into two?"

She gazed at her with a smile that did not reach her eyes as she answered. "Upon my original death my dear servant Quijie tried to save my soul from being cast away but once unsuccessful up on using that forbidden art he suffered severe consequences but as a result my half was locked away in the Heavenly Pavilion amongst my man belongings, upon your discovery my soul was set free and no seeks to merge together once more."
