Her past self pulled out the Naginata of Xiandi and twirled it. "This is not the real nagnata but a manifestation created by your mind." She tossed it at Shi Rong. "Can you hear it?"

Shi Rong caught it in confusion. "Hear what?"

She smirked then pulled out another replica. "The naginata has a name."

Shi Rong placed her ear close to the blade. She heard multiple tiny voices calling out to her.

"The voice you hear depends on the power scale of the nagnata. Pieces of all twelve Heavenly Divine Beasts souls are inside of that blade."

Sh Rong concentrated on the many voices and finally landed on one in particular. "Chen?" She raised her head and looked at her past self.

She smiled in satisfaction and clapped her hands. "Unsurprising from my other self that we have harvested the same name from the naginata."

The corners of her past self lips lifted into a smile, her beautiful face lighting up as the sun shined upon her beauty. "Dear Shi Rong you are a talented being indeed however I have to speak negatively upon your fortune by announcing you shall have a lot more trials in the future before you can awaken your true talent. Only with the help of us being joined together can you truly blossom."

Shi Rong looked up at the heavens and smiled slightly. "Past Rong'er I shall work hard to improve the both of us however at this moment I require quite an amount of assistant for I fear even with my current strength I am still not strong enough!"

Her past self walked forward and place her small soft slender hand on her shoulder. "Please watch carefully!"

She backed away and slammed the handle of the naginata into the ground. The flowers rippled and collapsed forming a large circle of dead flowers around them. She snapped her fingers. The flowers lifted back up as if they were born anew.

Shi Rong observed her every moment, analyzing every step even her grip on the handle.

"Speak its name into your soul."

She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply taking in every bit of energy in her body. She opened her eyes and slammed the handle down. "Chen!"

BOOM!

A large crater appeared beneath her feet causing her to fall backwards on her butt.

Her past self frowned deeply. "You need to control the amount of energy you used if not you will over exert yourself and cause mental, physical and spiritual exhaustion." She snapped her fingers again returning the ground back to normal. "Again."

Shi Rong sighed as she stood up. She concentrated once more then looked forward with a deep sense of focus. "Chen!"
