Zusammenfassung

Adventure always calls me no matter how much I tried to suppress the need to travel, explore and discover. Guess the adventure came to me. I own nothing but a few plot points an OC's.

Chapter 1Naked and Confused

Reaching behind me to grab my covers wondering why the hell the A/C is cranked up to eleven. Felling around for the familiar feeling of my cotton bedspread. I felt nothing, but the rough ground around me. Snapping my eyes open I look down at my usual nude self not out of shape but not quite in good shape. Years of depression and society beating me down could attest to most of the damage to my own body. The rest would be Fast Food and an office job. Shaking my head I peer around at the unfamiliar clearing. Looking around I see evergreen trees, moss, and a rocky outcrop near a stream coming down from snow-capped mountains.

Looking around the clearing I can see some flowers. Walking closer and taking a knee to get a better look I recognize a few from my college days; Yellow lady's slipper, and Forget Me Not Standing up and looking around the area I can tell from all the local flora that I am in a Boreal Forest Region. 'Which means North Canada specifically Most of Canada or Alaska' musing in my head while taking a closer look at the surrounding areas specifically the mountains.

Slapping my face with both hands "Come on Jake, not the first time waking up naked in the woods.' Grabbing the only thing on my person a burlap sack would be generous to call it even that. Spreading the top of the bag open I peer inside of the bag. The only three objects inside are two vials of glass containing what can only be described as a miniature cosmos. Grabbing one of the vials and bringing it up to my eye level I can't help looking at the vial. The swirling patterns inside of the container with specks of dimming and brightening stars.

Tearing my eyes away from the hauntingly beautiful vial, I place it back into the burlap bag and grab the only object besides the vials inside the sack. A crumpled-up piece of paper. Carefully and methodically unwrapping the papers I skim over the title of the single page of standard printer paper. Squinting my eyes trying to make out the words.

[Essence of the Planeswalker(watered down)-

Boons- You have a Planeswalker spark ignited by drinking this essence. The spark is like those before the Mending and independent of said event.

Able to bond with and tap into the mana of any place you come across whether it be a swamp, ocean, forest, and Mountains use it to fuel your abilities anywhere in the multiverse.

-capable of traveling to all planes in the multiverse at the cost of mana

-Shapeshifting into any humanoid creature that has been a Planeswalker before you(I.E. Merfolk, Human, Were-lion, Undead...etc.)(can change between newly gained forms at the cost of mana)]

Blinking a few times I let loose a sigh. 'Mending? isn't that from Magic the Gathering?' Recalling what the event is. 'Is it not the who-time fuckery where the MTG universe just hit the reset button?' Pondering on it for a while longer. My eyes travel back to the paper flipping it over I look over the words on the page again.

[Essence of the Home(watered down)-

Boons-

-You gain a personal home that exists outside of reality and beyond the reach of most entities. This home is practically impenetrable to any beings you do not want inside, even a supreme deity could not pierce the barriers in place on this property.

-Generating itself based on your needs and wants so it fits itself to you perfectly. As your needs change and grow, the home will expand with new facilities as needed.

-Home will gain sapience based on the needs of the user. The home is utterly, unwaveringly devoted to you.

- Neither you nor can the Home be influenced in any way shape or form by external forces

-The home takes care of basic utilities automatically and requires no connection to any preexisting infrastructure to function. In addition, it has functionally infinite supplies of whatever mundane food and drinks you could desire.

-It can be accessed anywhere no matter what, nothing can stop you from entering

-Leaving you can go anywhere you have been before including other planes of existence

-Any additional Essences will add functionality to this one in the form of additional rooms and functions]

Letting out a shuddered breath I hardily uncap and down the Essence of the Home as quickly as possible. Not knowing where I am hoping the mental defense will protect me from mental intrusions. Feeling the icy cold liquid go down my throat. In the back of my mind, I feel a light switch being turned on reaching out I instinctively know how to enter and leave my new home. Pausing my thought I smile a little bit.

Home now that is nice though. Thinking of how to open up a way home I think of Stargate. Instantly before me, I see an eight-foot by eight-foot portal open. Walking up to the portal I run my hand over it and watch the silvery blue surface ripple. Knowing that it won't hurt me or anyone I chose to enter I take a deep breath close my eyes and step inside.

The only sensation I feel going through I a tug at my waist for a second. Opening my eyes I can't help but chuckle. 'Needs huh' humming lowly to myself letting a smile come over my face I see in front of me I Spot a Medium sized Log cabin. Walking around the house taking a closer look at it I see a wrap-around porch and a small pond behind the house. Two chimney's with smoke going out of the top. Walking toward the back porch I can see a nice marble countertop inside the house with every appliance I could hope for. Stepping through the door I can't help stopping to take a deep smell. When I do I get hit with the scent of vanilla and cedar. Then the feeling hit me.

My mind cannot help but think back to my family. I can almost hear my family arguing over the downward spiral that the NFL has become. As dysfunctional as we were. Shaking my head to not think about them right now. Walking to the right side of the kitchen I enter what looks like the living room. Looking over at the leather couch I can't help but let my feet carry me over. Taking a seat on it. The instant my ass touches the couch I jump up with a small yelp. Looking down at my boys and giving a mental apology for the scare.

Turning around to look back at the house I can see on the edge of the kitchen counter a pair of Pajama bottoms and a pair of house slippers. Looking around I can feel the house welcoming me. It reminds me of my grandmother before she passed. Thinking back that is exactly what it feels like. I grabbed the burlap sack from my shoulder, packed it on the countertop, grabbed the Pajama bottoms and slippers, and put them on. After placing the clothes on I have to bite back a moan from escaping my mouth.

Stretching my arms above my head, and fighting back a yawn. Hearing a few cracks from my back. Looking back over I see the Vial on the counter and the note neatly folded beside it. 'Where is the bag?' Peaking through the doorway into the living room I see the burning bag inside the fireplace. I can't help but chuckle.

Reaching back over to the last vial, grabbed it, and headed back into the living room sitting on an unreasonably soft leather chair. Looking down at the vial uncorking up 'bottoms up' downing it in one go. The feeling is different, unlike the cold liquid from the Essence of the Home. This Essence of the Planeswalker goes down like a warm soda. After it goes down I feel my eyes grow heavy. Not resisting the urge to fall asleep I close my eyes drifting off to a dark and dreamless sleep.

Opening my eyes I blink in bewilderment looking around at the unfamiliar living room. Sitting up and looking for any familiar signs of kidnappers. Not seeing anyone or anything I bring my left hand up to my eyes I freeze. "What the fuck is going on," I mutter out loud while looking down at the unfamiliar appendage-covered snow-white and gold fur that was once my human hand. Flexing my fingers a sharp ripple goes over the 'fingers'? At the tip of the fingers, five charcoal black claws pop out of the tips.

Memories come rushing back to me. The vials, the house, and the portal. 'Ok, so not a fever dream.' Standing up I can't help but gape at my one human body. I start hyperventilating 'Ok so I'm a Were something. Breath Jake BREATH....' Taking a few lungs full of air. I start to calm down. Looking for a mirror Spotting one in the kitchen through the door. Stumbling over my own feet with my new digitigrade legs. Gabbing anything in reach of me to help me from stumbling.

After a few too many attempts of walking, I finally reach the mirror. Peeking into the mirror I gape or gape as much as my lion-headed self can. White gold fur mane going from my hairline down my shoulders down to my mid-chest. Rubbing my fingers through it I can't help but let out a purr. 'Stop... stop purring' I mutter to myself.

Closing my eyes remembering what I did with the other Essence, I bring newly gain memories from the vial. Knowledge about different types of magic flows through my head.

Closing my eyes, I bring the knowledge gained from the vial I drank. Five basic types of mana that I can gain by marking different types of land, Red or mountains, Blue or great bodies of water, Green or Forest, Black or swamps/places full of death, and finally White or planes. They can be mixed and matched to make more complex spells. Gaining any of these types of mana is straightforward enough I just have to mark territory with the corresponding type of energy. I pause "Does that mean I have to make it my territory like a lion? I don't want to travel the world and piss on everything." I can't help but ask out loud.

A/N: Tell me what you think the next chapter will be on the different types of spells and how to get new mana. It has been a while for those who have read my other books. I will be getting to them in the future. It's been a year since I have had the will to write, between work and moving. Please give me constructive criticism and show me any mistakes you see. Thanks for reading.

AA/N: Checked over with Microsoft word so it may be wrong but do not have a lot of time on hand. If you find any mistakes please let me know.

Beast Tamer: I Can See Evolution Paths

In a land where only the mightiest survives, where the beasts of the wild soar through storm-torn skies and stir the earth with a single growl, Asher was reincarnated as a seventeen year old fragile boy. He wasn’t a warrior or a chosen hero but an ordinary young man, cast into a world where humans hold little power on their own. Instead, they wield the strength of creatures beyond imagination—beasts with fire in their veins, wings that shred the wind, claws that tear the mountains. But Asher was no ordinary man. In this fierce world, every Beast Tamer dreams of finding the rarest, most powerful creatures. Yet Asher discovered something that no one else could see—a gift hidden within his eyes, something that would turn the world on its head: The Eyes of Insight. He could see the hidden power in any beast, even those that others thought weak, pathetic, or useless When he found a dying creature—a tiny, trembling Honeybug, cast aside and forgotten—he saw something no one else could. This was no ordinary creature. With the Eye of Insight, Asher saved the Honeybug from its impending death, and before his eyes, it transformed. It became a Radiant Fairy Butterfly, glittering with power, its wings like shards of starlight. With his Eye of Insight, Asher sought out beasts the world had scorned and transformed them. A timid Thunder Serpent became a storm-bringer, raining lightning upon his enemies. A Ghost Fang cub grew into a fearsome Shadow Wolf, lurking in the mists, striking like a phantom. And soon, the world began to whisper of Asher, the young tamer who raised the dead and forgotten into legends of their own. As he stood on the battlefield, his beasts surrounding him—wings spread wide, claws gleaming, eyes blazing—Asher knew he had only one path forward. He would show them all that even the smallest creatures could become titans, that even the forgotten could rise, that he—Asher, the Beast Tamer—will carve a new legend from dust and ashes.
