"Burn"

As he came out of the tree, he saw a man wearing a black suit with a pink shirt underneath, and a striped coat.

This person was Spandine the current head of CP9 who is conducting an "investigation" to unjustly rebuke the archaeologists.

Apart from Spandine, he was followed by many agents belonging to CP9 as bodyguards.

Although Yamamoto did not remember who this person was, he could deduce that he belonged to one of the Cipher Pol agencies.

"What's wrong? We haven't done anything wrong on this island, we're just archaeologists" Clover said trying to sound calm.

"Hmph I doubt it..." Spandine said as he looked like he was waiting for something.

*What is he waiting for?* Yamamoto thought as he didn't remember the plot of the letter.

"W-what's going on here?" a little girl's slightly shaky voice was heard.

As Yamamoto turned him head slightly, he immediately knew the identity of this girl, Nico Robin.

"Robin! What are you doing here? I thought I told you to go to the ship with the other villagers" Clover said reprimanding Robin.

They had prepared a ship for the normal villagers of the island who had nothing to do with the archaeologists to escape.

Little Robin did not want to go as she was always treated like a monster because of her power and her only friends were the archaeologists and her mother.

Yamamoto noticed that Olvia hid among the group of archaeologists and put on a hood trying not to be noticed by Robin.

He knew immediately why she was doing this, because, if they knew that Robin was not a normal villager, but the daughter of an archaeologist, they would also try to kill her.

*As if those stupid villagers could escape* Spandine thought mockingly in his mind, as the World Government did not want to leave any evidence of what was about to happen.

"I'm not going" Said little Robin stubbornly.

Clover frowned at Robin's response as he knows that for every second that passes the danger gets greater.

"Come on-"

Before Clover could rebuke Robin an explosion sounded not far from the Tree of Knowledge.

"Finally, they found it" Spandine said with a smile.

"They found what?" asked Clover uncomprehendingly.

"My subordinates were looking for evidence to prove they were investigating the poneglyphs" Spandine replied.

"Upon finding them I ordered them to destroy them" Spandine added.

*It's just an excuse... all the research is in the library of the tree of knowledge* Yamamoto thought as he looked at Spandine.

"W-why is it forbidden to investigate poneglyphs?" asked Robin plucking up her courage.

"Mm" Spandine looked at the little girl and since he didn't see it as much of a threat decided to answer her doubt.

"That's because they are researching ancestral weapons that are very dangerous."

"So I sentence them all to death for attempting against humanity!" Spandine added as if what he was doing was just.

"What!?" All the archaeologists except Yamamoto exclaimed in surprise at such an extremist decision.

Hocha grabbed Yamamoto's sleeve trembling, at this the old man said nothing and just looked at Spandine.

*I have to make Robin escape...* thought Olivia while looking at her daughter.

Robin at Spandine's statement there was a look of fear and of not fully understanding the situation.

"Aim!" Spandine ordered his men.

All the agents pointed their guns at the archeologists waiting for Spandine's order to fire.

*It's time...?* thought Yamamoto ready to activate the card at any moment.

"Wait!" Clover exclaimed, taking the lead.

"Mm? What do you want old man?" asked Spandine willing to listen to him.

"Since we're going to die, let me have a last request" Clover said resolutely.

*No one will die while I'm here...* Yamamoto thought but said nothing and continued to watch.

"Well tell me what you want" Spandine said showing some respect to the man in front of him.

"I would like to show the fruit of my study to the 5 elders..." Said Clover referring to the 5 highest authorities of the world government.

"And please let the girl go she has nothing to do with us" He added.

"As for the 5 elders it's ok, they also wanted to hear your last words since they are acquaintances..." Spandine said taking out a den den mushi.

"As for the girl I won't be able to fulfill it" He added with a smirk.

"You..." Clover growled.

Olvia sighed with disappointment, as she thought her daughter might escape, but this man looked like he didn't plan on letting her go.

*How evil must you be for you not to let an 8 year old girl escape...?* thought Olvia feeling helpless.

"Speak quickly" Spandine said as he initiated the call.

"..." The call was answered immediately, but no one said anything on the other end.

Noticing this, Clover decided to start counting the fruits of hi study. What he was going to tell was top secret and he didn't want to do it in Robin's presence since once she heard this they wouldn't let her go.

But he had already tried to get them to let her go and failed, so he had no way to save little Robin.

"I guess they're in there listening to 5 elders..." Clover began to speak.

"According to the study of myself and the other Ohara scholars, the poneglyphs were created by an ancient civilization that engraved their message on unbreakable stone runes that they scattered all over the world."

"According to our theory they did this because they had an enemy and such an unbreakable rune was necessary so that their message could not be destroyed by that enemy" Clover explained as he paused for a moment to take a breath of air.

"The poneglyphs relate that at that time there was a gigantic nation, a kingdom, very powerful that was eliminated by the union of several nations, which later would be called "World Government. You more than the resurrection of the weapons want to eliminate the ideals that represented that kingdom that's why they are killing us all"

*Oh it was like that I didn't remember that much* Yamamoto thought since due to lack of time he didn't review all the memories of the original body.

"The name of that kingdom is..." Clover said.

As he was about to name it he was interrupted by a voice from the den den mushi.

"Kill him!"

"Ohara knows too much. Order the attack...don't let anyone escape alive" A serious voice was heard from the other end as he ended the call.

"Well, you heard..." Spandine said with an evil grin.

Spandine pulled out a golden den den mushi and touched a button on it.

Clover and the others who saw him do such a thing had a bad feeling.

In the vicinity of Ohara Island, 10 Marine ships were waiting for the signal to launch the attack.

A signal came to the ships where the vice-admirals leading this attack were located.

"Well, it's time... ready the guns!" Ordered a vice admiral wearing a hood and cap.

If Yamamoto saw this person he would recognize him as one of the most hated characters from One Piece, Sakazuki or better known as Akainu.

The other vice admirals also started the attack against Ohara except for one who was absorbed in his thoughts.

"Vice Admiral Kuzan the signal is here shall we attack?" asked a marine respectfully.

"Yes... you start with the attack..." Kuzan said without so much determination.

The ten navy ships started bombarding Ohara without caring about friends or foes.

The cannon fire from the ships was starting to hit the island, it was a matter of minutes before they would hit the Tree of Knowledge.

"Damn it, we're still here! Do they want to kill us!" Spandine exclaimed cowardly.

*You started the attack...* thought most of the people in the place.

"Let's escape quickly already this island is finished" Spandine said to his subordinates as he prepared to flee.

"Hmph you are not allowed to leave" Yamamoto spoke for the first time in a tone that hid some anger.

*Activate the 50% strength card...* Yamamoto ordered in his mind.

The system didn't respond, but one of the cards shattered into a thousand pieces, and from it came out flecks of hell-red color that headed for Yamamoto's body.

The fiery fiery motes entered Yamamoto's body and he felt a radical change in just seconds.

In an instant, he felt an immense force fill his entire old body that now contained great power.

"What do you say old man this senile-"

Before Spandine could finish his sentence in less than a second Yamamoto appeared at his side.

"Burn" Yamamoto said emotionlessly as he touched his palm to Spandine's head.

From Yamamoto's hand came out a flame that engulfed Spandine and turned him into ashes in a second.

*Oh who knew this weakling would yield so much profit* Yamamoto thought with satisfaction.

That was how the CP9 boss died without being able to make a single sound before his death.

"Spandine-sama!" Exclaimed without understanding what was going on with his subordinates.

"W-what just happened" Olvia said stuttering.

"G-grandfather...?" asked Hocha in shock.

It all happened in a few seconds, from one moment to the next, she saw as if Yamamoto teleported to Spandine's side and pulverized him.

All the other archeologists were also dumbfounded, not quite understanding what they witnessed.

Yamamoto glanced sideways at Spandine's subordinates and snapped his fingers nonchalantly.

SNAP

Out of nowhere beneath all the CP9 agents emerged flames that engulfed them burning them to ash.

All of the CP9 agents who had accompanied Spandine had died in the same manner as their boss.

Yamamoto sighed a little disappointed that none of them gave him skill or merit points.

"Well take shelter in the Tree of Knowledge. It won't take long" Yamamoto said with his back turned as he disappeared from the scene in a second.
