"But just so you know, you will not get any information about the Falcon family from me," Henry said in a tone that made it clear that it was not up for discussion.

'Hehe, such a loyal person. Even when he thinks that his life is in my hands, he refuses to sell his family,' Dan thought before agreeing to his request, which really doesn't sound like one.

While the Falcon family is wealthy, it doesn't mean he has to go after them when Henry is providing a more accessible alternative.

After some more talking, Dan finally left the pub and returned to the inn room he was staying in.

"Fuu! That was exhausting," Dan muttered before releasing his invisibility while sitting on the bed.

"But it was also worth it," he said while looking at his four million beri in his money column.

With this much money, he can finally upgrade his attributes to the next level while also acquiring some sweet quirks.

And yes, he has already upgraded his invisibility quirk mastery to beginners level by paying a million beri he has collected in the week.

In the beginning, he also wanted to upgrade his quirk on his own. Still, after trying everything, he knows, which is unsurprisingly not a lot, as he has never dealt with anything like this in his life.

So, in the end, he has to rely on the system to cross the threshold of beginner-level mastery.

"Holy cow!" Dan blunt out in shock after seeing the description. If the previous one was a quirk with great potential, then this quirk clearly has the potential to be a top-notch quirk.

Super speed, a simple superpower with an even simpler use, as it just allows its user to run really fast.

However, this simple power can be extremely dangerous. After all, if a speedster wants, he can easily kill anyone without them even noticing if they don't have super speed or super sense.

'Now all I need is a seastone knife, and then I would be able to kill anyone in this sea,' Dan confidently thought before a few faces appeared in his thoughts, 'well, maybe not everyone.'

While Dan is lost in his power fantasies, the system continues to spin for the following quirks.

After seeing the description of the new quirks, Dan immediately used his shredding quirk on them.

'No, thank you. I don't think I want either dry eyes or getting lost all the time.'

[Shredding complete]

[+2 per, +1 vit, +5 luck]

Then Dan asked the system to increase all his stats to an F+ rank.

[That would cost 360,000 beri]

[Would you like to proceed?]

'No,' Dan immediately denied before asking, 'how much will it cost to increase all my stats to E- rank?"

[That would be 900,000 beri]

'And how much for E rank?'

[That would be 1,500,000 beri]

'Great, then increase all my stats to E rank,' Dan said while preparing for the pain he knew was about to come.

A warm current begins to spread inside his body, just like every time he increases his stats.

'Here comes the pain,' Dan thought while clenching his teeth in anticipation of the pain. Still, there was no pain this time, just a fulfilling feeling all over his body before the process was complete.

As the warm current dispersed from his body, Dan was left confused.

Why was there no pain, like the last time he increased his stats?

Not that he wanted the pain, mind you, but why didn't it happen this time?

Was pain during the process a one-time thing, or will it happen randomly?

Perhaps it follows a pattern he doesn't know.

'Why the hell am I even thinking about pain right now?' Dan thought before looking at his new stats.

In the clearing of a forest, you could see a black blur moving around at neck-breaking speed before collapsing against the tree with an exhausted expression on his face.

"Feew, that was exhausting," Dan muttered while trying to control his breathing.

It had already been a week since he got his new quirks, and Dan, for the first time since he was thrown into this world, began training both his body and quirks as harshly as he could.

It is not that he doesn't want to simply increase his mastery of the quirks of the system now.

He finds out that the upgrade from the system simply increases his control over that quirk, but it doesn't show or tell him how to effectively use it.

It's like he knows all in and out of a gun, like he knows how to create, maintain, and effectively use it, and he can use it however he likes. However, he doesn't know how to shoot accurately.

So even if he has the best control over the gun in the whole world, if he doesn't know how to shoot accurately, he can only use the gun as a club to smash people, not as a weapon to attack others.

And that is why Dan is training as hard as he can to refine his control over his quirk and learn new ways to use it effectively.

And it is pretty effective from what he can see, as not only his mastery over all his quirks is rising at a tremendous pace, but by adding heavy weight to the equation, Dan was able to effectively increase his physical stats.
