Absolute Justice

Olvia opened her eyes to find a hole in front of her, she turned back to see Galan looking off into the distance with the shotgun resting on his shoulder. She simply asked "Why?" Galan frowned and said "She's 8 years old, right?" Olvia nodded and Galan snorted gently, "When I was 8 my entire island was pillaged and slaughtered, slaves taken for the World Government. I watched as my own family was defiled and butchered in front of me. I wasted my entire life chasing revenge and when I got it I was a broken shell of a human being."

Olvia frowned and asked "Then why-" The man in front of her explained the situation clearly "What he's saying is that he is not going to let you die." Olvia was stunned and looked at the man, "Clover…" Clover looked at Galan, smiling slightly "Am I right?"

Galan looked at him and nodded, "Correct. She is a beautiful chess piece for my collection. This world made me a monster, so I will play the part of a Monster until the end." he turned to the distance and added "Also… I don't wish to see another person like me in this world."

Clover snorted and smiled "I see. Quite the Marine." Galan ignored his comment and said "You're jumping in the fire, I assume?" Clover chuckled and replied "I have no choice. Knowledge must be kept alive, no matter the cost."

Galan nodded and grabbed Olvia's wrists, putting them behind her back with one hand as he held her on his shoulder, saying to Clover "I warned you all. Why didn't you listen?" Clover simply pointed at the tree and Galan looked at it, snorting "A bafflingly idiotic reason. A simple religion of Knowledge creates such devout believers. Gods are nothing but Evil that can't be cleansed. Nothing more, nothing less."

He was done talking with Clover and walked away with Olvia on his shoulder as she struggled, saying "Let me go!" Galan ignored her and Clover said "Don't you want to know? About why?" Galan stopped and turned his head slightly, looking at him as he stated, "A simple bit of text will not bring down the World Government. My fists, plans, and bullets will. Your text will wound them, I will tear them off their thrones and devour every single inch of their flesh with my teeth…"

He turned back and finished "Until there's nothing left to call the 'World Government' anymore. Just a sad empty, worthless city on a piece of rock, exactly what it always was." Clover stared at him and asked "And then?"

Galan looked at the sky as fire rained down, blowing things to hell as he muttered "And then… I'll look down from the highest tower in that city and join the evil in hell." before walking away.

Olvia was silent and Clover sighed, "Sounds like a sad life." Galan chuckled suddenly, replying "I've been dead for a long time." before he disappeared on the spot.

Galan came back to see the Evacuation Ship explode with everyone on it. Olvia and Galan froze, their eyes widening beyond belief. Galan covered Olvia in his coat and jumped in the air, shooting towards the evacuation ship only to see corpses everywhere.

He jumped in the air, hovering over the water…

Not a single soul was spared, even the Marines on the ship were but mere pieces now. Fragments of a forgotten island…

Olvia stared at the disaster through the coat with dazed eyes, Galan muttered "Do you see it, Olvia? This is what the World Government does. This is what Justice has become. This is the Evil that must be eradicated." Olvia teared up as the Tree of Knowledge collapsed on the island.

Galan turned around and left, going back to his ship and walking to the cabin. He put Olvia down and handcuffed her under his desk, stabbing his shotgun, covered in Haki, into the planks, locking her in place as he said "Stay here. Don't move."

As he left the office, arriving on the deck. He looked at the Marines and asked "Who fired the shot." The Marines looked at each other before slowly pointing at another ship. Galan turned his head, seeing Sakazuki standing on the deck with a serious face, full of coldness.

Sakazuki felt something and looked up to see Galan staring at him, he frowned and turned his back to him, walking away. The only thing Galan saw when he left was 'Absolute Justice' on his back.

Galan stood there with his arms crossed, watching him go. Not doing anything. When Sakazuki disappeared, Galan turned to the island, noticing that Kuzan was watching Robin sail away in a path he created, letting her escape.

Robin was hugging her knees and forcing herself to laugh like Saul while crying. Galan focused on her as she cried, muttering to himself in a barely audible voice "Cry, little one… Get everything out now… It will ease the pain." he turned around and walked into the cabin before coming back out a few seconds later.

He rolled up a bundle of books and tied them with a string before covering the books in Haki. He looked out on the horizon before swinging his arm out, a whistling sound whooshed by the Marines, shooting across the sky!

Robin's hair back as a roll of books stabbed into the seat next to her. The books reverted from their blackened state and stayed upright, stuck in the seat. She pulled on them hard, nearly falling over as she pulled them out.

The string snapped and the books unrolled, revealing words '6 Powers', 'Haki', 'Life Return', 'Art of Deception', 'Chess Playbook', and one unmarked book that looked extremely old.

Robin sniffled and opened the old book to see sketchy handwriting, 'Hell Log' followed by an array of words filling each page top to bottom, starting with a boy crawling out of an ash pile. However, there was never a name mentioned…

The Marines looked at Galan, who frowned "I thought I saw an escaping boat…" The Marines looked with binoculars and reported "Nothing, sir! Only fragments of wood!" Galan nodded and turned around, adding "Then I didn't miss." as he returned to his cabin, leaving "Tell Kuzan to return. We're leaving this place." before disappearing into the Cabin.

The Marines saluted and ran off.
