Chapter 140

Kaido and I are staring each other down. I'm surprised that he hasn't already moved with his temper.

"Any last words, brat?" asked Kaido

"Wow, that so nice of you to ask! But I wonder what gives you the confidence."

"That last attack was all you had, and It didn't do much. So that means that this is my win!"

He suddenly grabbed my head and smashed it into the ground, making the ground cave in. He didn't stop there and smashed my head into the ground again.

"ARGH!"

I grabbed onto his arm, trying to get him to release me, but he didn't budge.

I turned as thin as a piece of paper and escaped from his clutches. I immediately jumped back, but he was already running towards me with his weapon locked and loaded with Haki and lightning.

"Tsk. Don't underestimate me, Kaido!"

I crouched down and put all my power towards my legs. I looked at his weapon and look for a place without spikes. I then launched myself towards him, making the ground under me explode. I pulled my fist back, and it bulged with power.

A blue flow of energy started surrounding my body as I directed all of it towards my right fist. Kaido and I met in the middle as he swung his club towards me, and I punched towards his club where there aren't any spikes. As my fist and his club collided, sparks of Haoshoku Haki started flying off of us, but unlike his red sparks, mine are blue.

"Crack, crack, crack."

Cracks started appearing all around his weapons till it finally exploded from the inside out. Kaido looked at his weapon, not believing what happened. I used this chance to use my super secret attack.

I disappeared from my place and appeared right behind him. I crouched down behind him and put both my hands together with four fingers sticking forwards.

'I'm sorry, Kaido.'

I shot forward and my fingers encased in Haki shot out towards Kaido. As my fingers hit their target, it turned completely silent.

"Huh? AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

Kaido looked confused at first, and when his puny brain understood what happened, he screamed and flew into the air. He smashed face-first into the marine building while holding onto his behind. I immediately got into a battle position, ready to defend the second he attacks, when I suddenly heard something I didn't expect. I heard someone cry.

I started looking around and using Haki to sense if anyone was here when I suddenly sensed some powerful people coming towards us.

'Took them long enough. But who the hell is crying?'

I closed my eyes and focused on only my hearing when I finally confirmed the source.

'Damn, I feel bad now. Maybe that technique was too much. But the weeb inside of me wanted to do it, so I couldn't resist.'

I stared at this comical and sad scene for a couple of minutes when a ship docked at the plaza. I looked at the people coming off the ship with a smirk.

"What are you guys doing here? Can't you see that I have everything under control?"

Everyone looked shocked at the scene of Kaido crying, including Shanks.

"Sigh, I guess we came here for nothing." said Yasopp

"Ey Yasopp, did you see what your son did? It was amazing."

"Usopp? He was here?"

"Yeah, he came to save his Captain. He managed to bring Sengoku down to his knees with one attack. It was hilarious."

"Hahaha, that's my boy! I should watch what happened here later.

"Enough about that. What the hell happened to Kaido?" asked Benn Beckman

"Oh, I managed to give him a nasty cut and used a super-secret technique to send him crying."

They looked shocked again.

"But what are you guys doing here?"

"We initially wanted to end this war when the winner was decided, but Kaido and his crew suddenly showed up. Kaido just ran past us while we started fighting his crew. After we got them to back off, we immediately came here, but it seems like we aren't needed."

'I see, if Kaido took his crew with him, it's only to be expected that Shanks couldn't stop Kaido's advances. But I expected him to be here quicker since he hasn't lost his dominant arm. But a Yonko crew that has been around for a long time isn't to be underestimated.'

I patted Shank's shoulder.

"My ride is here, so I'll be taking my leave. Have fun."

I disappeared into a shadow portal before he could say anything.

'I wonder if they're going to come out of it alive.'

I appeared back on my ship and saw that I was surrounded by my crew. I also saw all the Revolutionaires ships and the Strawhats ship. But even though there are so many people here, it is oddly quiet. I was about to say something when I felt someone hug me from behind.

"I'm glad you made it back alive." said Perona with some tears streaming down her cheeks

I looked around and saw that everyone in my crew was actually crying. I looked shocked at their reaction when Ace and Sabo also came in for a hug. The rest of my crew soon followed, and I started suffocating. Luffy also wanted to be part of it as he surrounded everyone with his arms and put even more pressure on me. Luckily the giants stayed in their place, or I would definitely die here.

'Sigh, I guess I'll let them be sappy this one time. But did they really expect me to die against an overgrown lizard? I'm kinda disappointed.'

After their smiles returned to their faces, they separated from me.

"So, what happened? Did you beat him up?" asked Deuce

I just threw him a Den Den Mushi with a recording of Kaido's state the last time I saw him. As they were quickly setting a screen up so that they could watch the recording, I went over to talk with Dragon.

"Are you angry at me, Dragon?"

"You did save my son and prevent any casualties from happening on our side, so I should be thanking you, but I can't just forget about you teleporting us away like that." said Dragon

"Well, you did owe me one from before, so how about you forgive me for teleporting you guys away?"

He stared at me for a little bit.

"Fine."

"So that means that you still owe me one for saving your son." I said with a cheeky smile

"What? Didn't you say that Luffy is your brother?"

"I don't involve my family with business. Or are you saying that the Revolutionaries leader can't be grateful?"

He glared at me, and so did the rest of the Revolutionaries.

"Fine, but don't think that I'll forgive you the next time you do something like this."

"I'll keep that in mind."

He gave me one last glance before he turned around and instructed his men to sail home. I looked at the leaving figure of the Revolutionaries with a smile.

'The next time, the roles will be reversed. I'll be letting you guys do all the work while I sit back and eat some popcorn.'
