Nextgen Kids: The New Era

The 4th saga of the Nextgen Series and the first half of the Newborn Era. With an abundance of new operatives, the Kids Next Door is livelier than ever! With new threats on the horizon, the kids can only wonder just how chaotic this next year will be. In spite of the peace and bliss of this new era, the KND will soon learn that it isn't time to stop being afraid. Powerful child gods called the "Newborn" have begun to show up, threatening the universe. To make matters worse, the Four Pirate Emperors - the Big Mom Pirates, Kremling Krew, Boogey Pirates, and Sky God Pirates - threaten to wage war against the KND and against several planets. As their lives are consumed by war and endless struggling, the KND is bound to lose friends as they gain new ones. This story retains the cast of Nextgen Kids from prior stories, while also introducing many new kids from various crossovers. COMMON ABILITIES AND POWERS

These are all abilities that were established in other stories.

ELEMENT BENDING - Some people are born with the power to control an element, given to them by the element's god. There are a variety of elements and sub-forms, such as Water, Earth, Bones, Shadow, Time, Space, Darkness, Soul, etc..

MAGIC - Some people are born with magic, wherein they can cast a variety of spells through magic wands, from basic element attacks, Transfiguration, curses, or more complex moves.

DEVIL FRUITS - Created by Dr. Caesar Clown, made from Bang Gas, these fruits grant people special mutations or powers. Paramecia Fruits give them a genetic power; Zoan Fruits let them become an animal; Logia Fruits turn them into a half-tangible element, Nen Fruits give them a magic-like power with unique rules.

HAKI - A martial art where people can enhance their natural strength or awareness.

ROKUSHIKI - Assassin martial art where users can use various superhuman abilities.
