New Life as Harry Potter

Harry Potter had always been a fan of the wizarding world, but he never expected to actually be a part of it. One day, while walking home from work, he was hit by a bus and woke up in a world he thought was only in books and movies. As he opened his eyes, Harry realized he was lying in a hospital bed. He looked around and saw that he was in a completely different world. A world of magic, where he had been reincarnated as Harry Potter. * Note: I do not own any of the characters, I am writing this fanfiction only for the purpose of exploring creativity of my imagination towards one of my favourite novels.

6. Sorting into Gryffindor

As September approached, Harry's excitement grew. He couldn't wait to start his first year at Hogwarts and put his magical abilities to the test. He had spent the entire summer studying and practicing, and he felt more confident in his abilities than ever before.

On the day of the Sorting, Harry stood nervously in front of the Great Hall. He had heard stories about the Sorting Hat and how it could read your mind to determine which house you belonged to. He wondered where he would end up.

As the Sorting began, Harry watched as the other first-year students were sorted one by one. He saw students being sorted into Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. But when it was finally his turn, Harry felt his heart race with anticipation.

The Sorting Hat was placed on his head, and he heard a voice whisper in his ear. "Ah, I see. You're not from this world, are you?" the Sorting Hat said, surprising Harry.

Harry was taken aback but quickly composed himself. "No, I'm not. But I'm ready to learn and make the most of my time at Hogwarts," he replied confidently.

The Sorting Hat chuckled. "I can see that. You have a lot of determination and courage. You would do well in Gryffindor," the Sorting Hat said.

Without hesitation, the Sorting Hat shouted out, "Gryffindor!" and the entire house erupted in cheers.

Harry felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had heard that Gryffindor was the house of the brave and daring, and he was proud to be a part of it.

As Harry settled into Gryffindor Tower, he was excited to explore his new home. He made friends quickly, bonding with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley over their shared love of magic and learning.

But it was Susan Bones who caught his eye. He couldn't help but be drawn to her intelligence, wit, and beauty. He found himself thinking about her all the time and looking for excuses to be near her.

One day, Harry found himself alone with Susan in the Gryffindor common room. They were both working on their homework, but Harry found it hard to concentrate with Susan sitting so close to him.

He mustered up the courage to speak to her. "Hey, Susan, I was wondering if you would like to go to the library with me later. I could help you with your Charms essay," he said, hoping she would say yes.

Susan looked up at him and smiled. "That sounds great, Harry. I would love that," she said.

Harry felt a sense of elation. He couldn't wait to spend more time with Susan and get to know her better. He knew that he had a lot to learn about love and relationships, but he was excited to see where this could lead.
