Preparations

Mark : "So.. what do you think the next step is…"

Colt [smiles] : "I don't know, I was hoping you'd tell me.. how do you get married?"

Mark : "Married? … so you are serious…"

Mark : "Well, marriages at 15 aren't uncommon …but you'll have to give up on the magic academy in order for you to do that"

Colt : "Keep going"

Mark : "You have a year at least if you plan on getting married as soon as you are an adult… you'll need to secure a house, a way to support your family… and ,though it depends on the bride, a ring… so how high is Luna in elf society?"

Colt : "She's the princess"

Mark [stares at Colt with shock] : "Oh, dear.. then it can't be just a silver or gold ring, it has to have a diamond… *panics*some of the gold you gave us still remains… take it… and… and"

Colt [looks at his father.. starts laughing] : "Calm down, so far the preparations you mentioned are trivial… is that really all it takes??"

Mark [trying to maintain his temper] : "You call a task I see as near impossible trivial !! do you have any idea the amount of work it'll take? You can't make money with magic, son"

Colt [laughs while opening the item box, hands Mark a ring] : "Here I was playing around and thought it would be funny to make this"

This ring I made when I was bored once while in the wasteland continent

*shows a ring with a sapphire, a ruby , an emerald, and a diamond, clustered in the shape of a diamond*

Why these particular jewels you ask?? It's a reference to the Blue-Green-Red system used in our screens is all

Mark [shocked at the sight of the ring] : "Fun.. to .. make.. this thing can't be priced.. and you made it??"

Colt : "As you can see we have the ring, and a way to support my family"

*takes the ring*

Not that I'll need it… I mean I have everything in the wasteland continent so…

Mark : "I'm honestly shocked!! And proud of my son, lastly you'll need a safe house where Luna can live danger free"

Colt : "I have that as well, so.. why did you say I couldn't go to the magic academy?"

Mark : "To find a job… which I assume you don't need now…"

Colt : "Correct"

Mark [suddenly laughs] : "Before I knew it , my son outgrew me!! I'd better enjoy Clarice while she's young"

Colt[smiles] : "Clarice will be different, don't worry too much about it"

Colt : "Please keep our conversation a secret"

Mark : "What kind of a father will I be if I put my son's happiness at risk?"

Colt[smiles] : "…. Now that we're done… why did mom and Luna take so long??"

Mark : "Your mom is probably trying to get the details out of Luna from your first meeting up to this point… so it'll be a while"

*A while later*

*The door opens, Clarissa comes out crying and Luna with an awkward smile from behind*

Clarissa : "This a true love story if I've ever heard one.."

Oh, crap, this is gonna get real awkward real fast… better high tail it out of here

*Colt stands up takes Luna's hand , turns her invisible*

Colt [in a rush] : "Bye I'll come later to talk , love you"

*Bolts outside*

*Colt and Luna whisper to each other while walking*

Luna : "why did you leave like that??"

Colt : "I just wanted… to give them room to talk…"

Luna : "Coolt , tell the truth"

Colt : "Fine, fine, it's because I know my mom, she was about to ask some weird questions… I usually don't mind but…*blushes* not with you there"

Luna[smiling] : "Guess even you have your own insecurities"

Colt : "You're having fun aren't you?"

Luna : "I would never…"

*they both laugh*

Colt : "So, what took so long… what did she ask"

Luna : "Your mom really loves you… she asked about every detail since our first meeting… she was happy to know you're so strong… I didn't tell her everything though… now I understand you wanting to protect my innocence back then… she's too kind"

Colt [smiles] : "What would I do without you…"

Luna : "Your turn… what did you talk about? You dad seemed much more welcoming than when you first told him"

Colt : "At first, he didn't think I could protect you… I gave him too little credit… turns out he's not like mom…"

Luna : "And does it make you sad or angry?"

Colt : "You already know the answer"

*Luna stops , hugs him from behind*

Luna : "I know… but you have to say it…"

Colt [closes his eyes] : "No, I was happy… I knew he'd be okay..... let's go.. I'll take you home…"
