Chapter 27 Acting creepy

At the Silver Wolf tribe, Gina's house was located in the middle of the tribe, a large wooden cottage with a garden, flanked by two other houses which also belonged to her.

"STOP acting creepy, Gina," her other husband Louis said, rolling his eyes as he saw her making her eyes wide and blinking her eyelashes at him.

"Why would I act creepy?" she protested, hugging his arm and nuzzling against his muscular frame.

"Tell me, what do you need?" he said, rubbing her head in a doting tone as he took her hand toward her bed. Today was his turn to sleep with his mate.

"Is Lucas going to leave me too, to start his life anew like his brothers?" Gina spoke, her voice tinged with emotion.

Lucas was her youngest baby boy, and most of her cubs had already left the tribe when they reached adulthood. Honestly, they could stay, but most preferred to leave to gain experience, and Lucas chose to stay here.

When she had given birth to Lucas, he had been the naughtiest cub, already knowing how to make his dad, Wilson, jealous by clinging to her. She still remembered the little white furball of a Wolf, clumsily chasing birds.

Although everyone grew tired of his antics, he was well-liked, having friends from different tribes and knowing when to be cute and when to be fierce.

"I'm not sure, but he's already an adult. Maybe he wants to stay here. Why don't you ask him directly?" Louis suggested, embracing her.

"Yeah, but I don't want to interrupt his life. He already has a mate and his own priorities. Maybe I'll even have grandcubs next year," Gina said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Seeing her back to her cheerfulness, Louis smiled.

Next morning, Lucas got Kyra fruits and set off for the tribe. He took her through the forest, which directly met his tribe's forest, which was a long way.

The forest path ended up near the mountain behind his cottage, so they didn't have to pass the whole tribe. Finally reaching the cottage, both of them sighed with relief.

"Finally, we reached home," Kyra sighed with relief as she climbed down from his back.

Lucas turned into a beastman, opened his cottage door, and both of them walked inside.

However, at that moment, another silverwolf came towards them and turned into a beastman.

He had black eyes and silver hair with gray highlights. As he looked at Kyra, he blushed.

Really, this female was beautiful...

"Lucas, finally you come back. Partrich has been waiting for you," he said shyly without looking at Lucas as he was busy gazing at Kyra with a shy gaze.

Seeing him acting all shy and like a little wolf, Lucas held Kyra's wrist and positioned himself in front of her protectively.

"Why?" he frowned. "I remember asking Partrich for leave."

"Yes, you didn't ask, but your dad..." the wolf named Tom looked at him. "But your leave was not valid as it's already a new day."

Lucas's eyes widened. "No, I don't want to go," he said as he turned around. "Kyra, let's go. I am soooooo tired. I think I have a heart attack in my kidney."

Kyra: "..."

Tom: "..."

Heart attack in the kidney? First time we heard that.
