Kyra could feel his warm breath on her face, sending shivers down her spine.

"Can I..." He spoke. Their lips were only an inch away, dangerously close as he put a little weight on her body.

Feeling his body against hers, she felt a blankness as the only thing she could feel was him.

As Lucas's toes playfully traced the contours of her smooth legs, his left hand tenderly moved from her temples to her cheeks.

"Answer me, Kyra," he whispered near her ear.

"I..." Kyra struggled to find her voice. Lucas's touch continued to trail down her neck, leaving a tingling sensation and a rosy blush in its wake.

"Lucas..." she whispered again, her voice barely audible above the sound of her own heartbeat.

Their eyes met in an intense gaze, each searching the other's for some sign of what to do next. The tension between them was palpable, thick enough to cut with a knife.

Lucas bit his lip, never taking his gaze off her soft lips. "Hmm... I'll take your silence as a yes," he murmured seductively.

As a feathery kiss fell on Kyra's lips...

Suddenly, a loud clap of thunder echoed through the room, startling them both.

Lucas quickly pulled away, his breathing heavy as he positioned himself beside her, his hands resting on his stomach.

Kyra, too, struggled to catch her breath, her heart racing out of control. She couldn't deny the overwhelming attraction she felt for this wolf.

After all, her heart was already lost to this wolf.

She knew in her heart she couldn't easily go back to her world. She didn't have parents in that world, only some friends, but they weren't close enough.

If she went back, she would be used again...

She didn't want to live that life, being tortured there...

But coming here, she had gained more than she ever expected.

On the other hand, Lucas sensed her feelings for him.

Her heartbeat couldn't be wrong as he moved closer to her.

However, he saw her actually sleeping peacefully with her eyes closed.He smiled and took her in his arms as he savoured her fragrance.He couldn't move his eyes away from this female. He closed his eyes and slept peacefully.
