Chapter 44: Who are those strangers ?

" That's a relief." Leo said and begun eating.

Myra was moving around with two girls in the market where she met Agnes.

" Myra..It's you ?" Agnes asked going to her.

" Yes. I decided to walk around today." She said.

" How is Leo ?" Agnes asked.

" Doctor Kevin finished his operation but he is not awake yet." Myra said.

" Aren't you worried to walk when he is still on bed ?" Agnes asked.

" I will he will be fine and besides, It was boring being inside all the time." Myra said.

" Well, I understand that." Said Agnes.

" We are getting late, We shall take our leave now" Myra smiled at Agnes and left.

When they arrived at Kevin's again Myra was surprised to find Leo awake and seated in Kevin's room.

On seeing them he got up to his feet which made Myra happy.

" You are finally awake ?" She asked with a big grin as went over to him.

" Yeah, I am feeling much better now.." He responded with a thin smile.

" I am so happy that you can stand on your feet again." She said.

" You are making us jealous, Did you think he was going to die ?" One of the girls making the other one Myra and Kevin to laugh.

" Girls, Come and join us…!" Kevin ordered when they all went and sat down.

Leo sat back with Myra besides him. She was more happy than she showed at the moment.

Later Kevin remained to have a word with Myra and Leo.

" I think I can set both of you off now." He said.

" Thank you so much Doctor." Myra responded immediately.

" I have packed all the medicine already. You will have to nurse his wound everyday before bed." Kevin told her.

"…Me…nursing his wound ? it's on the belly. How can I ?" Myra was asking when Leo cut her off.

" It's okay Doctor." He said with a thin smile.

" One more thing" Kevin faces Leo. " You have to be more careful. Don't over move, Make sire you get enough rest and don't let anything stress you out okey ?" He lectured.

" I will do as you have said."

Raymond and Barbra had been the most shocked people to hear about the drowning of Leo and Myra into the sea.

Raymond send his men to look for them and the Officers played a role too in the such the following day. It has been two days since the incident which was worrying Raymond and Barbara.

When Barbara went to the Company that morning she found all the worker's in worry.

" Have they found her yet ?" It was Brian who asked first.

" They are still tracking for them." Barbara spoke and smiled to comfort them.

" Guys we shouldn't worry about Myra, I believe that Leo will protect her and bring her back to us." She said to all of them.

" She is right.Let's all focus on work now." Ryan said which Barbara nodded to.

While Barbara sat down her head was felt with a number of thoughts.

' They are taking long to find them. I am worried that if they are together Leo might find out that Myra is really a good person and I lied about most of the things I said.' She said silently.

That evening Agnes and Micheal came to pick Myra and Leo as they had promised.

" Doctor, We shall let them stay with us for a while." Said Agnes.

" That's good. But his wounds must be nursed everyday. Don't forget that." Kevin told them.

" Thank you for everything once again.We shall now leave.." Myra said as Micheal went to hold Leo to give him support as he couldn't walk so well yet.

They left and walked together along the street. It was getting dawn and there were very few people moving around since the Island had very few people that settled there. There were a few shops and vendors around with some small houses.

Myra walked besides Agnes silently and so was Leo and Micheal.

They finally reached their house when Agnes smiled.

" We have arrived." Agnes declared.

" It's beautiful, I like here already" Myra said cheerfully and looked at Leo with a smile.

He just nodded and they Al went inside when they found two kids of about eight playing.

" Mommy, Daddy ?" The first kid called and rushed to hug Agnes who smiled and hugged him back.

The other one just stood and gazed at them.

" Zeal, Won't you come and say hi to daddy ?" Micheal asked.

" Who are those strangers?" The little boy called Zeal asked while the one finished hugging them and also looked at Myra and Leo with question marks on his little cute face.

" Yes Mommy, Who are they ?" The second boy asked eventually. He was Morris.

Micheal released Leo and bent to Morris's height.

" Zeal, Morris, This is Aunt Myra and Uncle Leo. Greet them !" Micheal stood up right again.

" Greetings Aunty, Greetings Uncle !" The little boys said in chorus.

" Greetings !" Myra and Leo responded.

" Uncle is sick, So please don't disturb him. Okay ?" Agnes lectured.

" We won't" Morris promised.

Agnes looked at both Leo and Myra with a smile. " These are our sons, Now you come and sit. Leo, You must be tired already." Agnes said and Micheal led Leo to sit down on the mats before the small table.

The rest followed and sat down.

" Where is Racheal ?" Agnes asked after looking around.

Rachael was her sister who stayed with them.

" She is in the kitchen !" Zeal answered.

" Go and tell her to come and great our visitors.." Micheal demanded when Zeal got up and ran to the Kitchen immediately.

Morris was still staring at Myra and Leo when Agnes noticed him.

" Sup , Won't you stop staring at Aunt and Uncle ?" She questioned playfully.

" Why is it that I have never seen Aunty and Uncle here before ?" The little boy inquired.

" That is because they come from very far." Agnes answered.

" Really, Did you have to cross the ocean to come here ?" Zeal asked.
