The spring of year 834 has come.

A baby with brown hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion was admitted to one of the orphanages in the Shiganshina District. Seeing how cute the baby was he almost immediately became the favorite of the nannies.

Gaining consciousness the first thing I felt was heaviness, lethargy all over my body, as well as terrible hunger. This sucks, first time outside of that abyss after 100,000,000 years and I can't even move.

This is tiring but first I gotta check my surroundings. Opening my eyes I scanned over the room for anything peculiar. I was currently inside a small crib. Through the bars of the crib, I could see a neat, cozy, albeit empty room.

The room also had a window. Not much can be seen except the bright shining sun and Wall Maria on the horizon. Let's check out the system for now.

'Functions'

[The system and goddess will post various missions for me to complete on the Mission Board. The Mission Board has four kinds of missions namely: Daily, Sudden, Hidden, and Main Missions.]

[Daily Missions- this kind of mission can be completed daily. The missions are very easy to complete but have lower rewards compared to the others]

[Sudden Missions- this kind of mission only appears when you or your loved ones are endangered in the threat of death. The reward of this mission is generous but when it fails the cost will be a lot.]

[Hidden Mission- this kind of mission is hidden. They might be something you can't expect or impossible to do. The rewards of this mission depend on the difficulty of the mission.]

[Main Mission- this kind of mission is the main reason the goddess sent you there and it must be accomplished before moving on to the next world.]

[The second function of the system is Shop- In the store, the host can buy anything that is available in the world he is currently in. Universal skills can also be bought such as martial arts, cooking, knowledge, etc. To buy things from the system you need to earn Shop Points or SP from completing missions, defeating foes, and killing beasts and enemies. The host can also receive SP by selling a treasure or other items that the system will buy.]

[The third function of the system is Skills List- The Skill List shows the user the skills he acquired over his journey and what level they are currently at.]

[The fourth function of the system is Inventory- Inventory is a separate dimension where the user can place nonliving things inside. The time inside is stopped thus making things like food and metal not rot away. It also has unlimited capacity.]

As I was done examining the system, it had everything I asked for and more. A few seconds later however I realized that almost all system users have a newbie package so I decided to ask, hoping for one.

'What the hell', I thought to myself, exasperated, 'How is this going to be useful to me right now?'

My thoughts stopped when I heard a pair of footsteps approaching my room door. Turning my head in the direction of the sound, a prolonged groan of uncoiled door hinges was made and a woman of about thirty years old entered the room.

Closing the door behind her, she quietly, calmly approached the crib, as if she was afraid to frighten me.

"How is our baby Kumori?", she said with a kind smile on her face, bending over the crib.

Ok, good I can understand their language and my new name is Kumori eh? Well whatever, I'll get used to it over time.

Now that she came closer, I managed to get a better look at her.

After a while, the door opened again and the defeated wet nurse returned. After dressing me and picking me up, we went for a walk.

Walking out the main entrance, what greeted my eyes was the refreshing breeze and bright sun illuminating the sky. Looking around I found out the orphanage is located in the middle of the Shiganshina District. The buildings, clothing, and everything in my peripheral area was just medieval.

And so the day passed. Constantly in the hands of gentle female hands, we walked around the orphanage and market picking up food and supplies. To be honest, just sitting and staring at others is terribly boring, so I tried to master and learn as many skills as possible. So that's what happened.

Laying down inside my crib I looked outside the window and saw the sun setting indicating the day was ending. Today was both tiring and rewarding for the first day of reincarnation.

Over these past 5 years, I have maximized and learned all the skills I could. When I reached the age of four I started getting daily missions and ever since then I've continuously done it pushing myself to the limits.

Purchasing what I wanted foreign information made its way into my mind giving me a mild headache. Sorting and looking through the information I realized why people called the 'White Room' the 'White Hell'. They push the human body to its limits both physically and mentally.

Having them learn various school topics at a young age ranging from junior high to post-graduate college education is insane. Coupled with the fact that they do strenuous physical activities like self-defense and martial art training with professional fighters it makes sense that the mortality death rate for the Demonic 4th Generation was so high.

With this training though I'll be able to push my body to its limits and potentially awaken my Ackerman bloodline in the process, though that will take a while.

Constantly acting out the role of a small smart kid was exhausting but worth it. This skill will allow me to lie as easily as breathing, leading people, and much more.

This skill was the hardest to level up as I don't sing much but the main thing was for you to have a lot of listeners so the experience will flow like a river. I still have my monotone voice but it's more deep and impactful compared to before.

I was also taught how to read and write the Eldian language. Now, this is where this body's magic works. When the caretaker was teaching me, my mind started to pick it up at a rapid pace, shocking her and the other nannies in the orphanage. I see why Ayanokoji Kiyitaka was called the 'Masterpiece'. The way his brain processes and breaks things down is unparalleled.

When they were teaching me how to write in the Eldian language I used the chance to be able to learn this skill as it would be quite useful in later stages.

Running in the open field where Eren and Mikasa were shown in the anime, I was busy doing the Daily Missions for the day. Using the physical routine of the White Room was both beneficial and strainful. The training was hellish and exhausting but I adapted to it over time. Finishing the mission I claimed my rewards and headed back to the Shigshina Orphanage.

It's around 4 pm in the evening and I'm currently walking back towards the orphanage ignoring the stares I'm getting. I was pretty well known in the district as I was a pretty abnormal kid in their eyes. I was taller than the average 10-year-old as well as being way more mature and intelligent than some adults, as well as talented and hardworking.

Arriving at the orphanage, I walked inside and greeted the caretaker before heading towards the dining room grabbing some food, and going towards my dorm. Entering my room I set the tray on my desk before sitting down.

'Tomorrow is the day I save Mikasa from the bandits and meet the protagonist of this world Eren Yeager.'
