Blood Cursed
Long ago humans finally succeeded at exploring the galaxy and forming colonies on other planets. Often times conquering them and enslaving it's native people. One day cataclysm stuck the galaxy, although it's origin and cause is unknown. It cut off ties between the colonies and earth.
Millenniums later and the colonies have all forgotten about the existence of one another. Interstellar travel ceased. A new form of power came into existence after the cataclysm. It goes by many names on the planets but on the planet known as Tarturan, it's name is Serith.
Tarturan is a world blessed by Serith. However it is also cruel and under despicable rule. It's inhabitants, descendents of the Human Colonials and intelligent native life forms awaken their Serith abilities between the ages of 12 to 16. There is a man, known as the strongest to ever live who conquered the planet with 5 great families to help him in his quest. Often times the poorer citizens will sell their children who don't awaken Serith into slavery, which is practically a death sentence. However the great families have never had someone born without Serith, until now or so it appeared.
Scarlett Cianis, a former member of the Cianis household, one of the 5 great families was sold into slavery on her 17th birthday. She failed to awaken her Serith abilities and was seen as a horrendous blight on her families great name and honor.
Over the course of 4 years she receives "Special" treatment from the slave owner. She is consistently beaten, raped, almost burned alive by the master who has Flame Serith, and then healed by one who posses Healing Serith as to not "Tarnish" her good looks.
Tragedy eventually strikes and Scarlett awakens her Serith abilities. Blood Serith. With her newfound powers she sets out on a quest to end this terrible regime. Her target is set on the king. Can she gain the experience and strength to kill the strongest man alive or will she fall trying?
