Saving Mikasa

Waking up, I got out of bed and stretched before going to the washroom to freshen up for the day. Once I was done doing so I headed to the dining room to grab breakfast to start the day off.

"Ah, Kumor, are you heading to the open field today as well?" one of the nannies asked me.

"Yeah, but I'm just going to do a little bit of exercise before I explore the rest of Shiganshina," I told her, as I grabbed my tray of food and sat down at the table. Ever since I turned 4 I just focused on strengthening my body and mind for future events so I never really bothered with exploring as of now.

"Alright, but please be careful. There has been news that kids have been getting kidnapped recently so don't stay out too late and watch your surroundings alright?" she told me.

"I won't stay out too late and if anything happens to me you know that I can take care of myself," I reassured her.

True to my words nobody wanted beef with me. These past 7 years if I was known for anything it would be for the titles I inherited from the wannabe gangs and stuck-up adults. There were multiple occasions of me beating up other kids who tried to strong-arm me and the other orphans with me often beating them till they left me alone.

It was the same with adults. Too arrogant just because they enlisted in the Garrison Regiment.

The Garrison Regiment for those that don't know is the largest of the Military divisions which protects and maintains the order within the walls. The Garrison takes care of all defenses for the walls whether it be patrols, repairs, or improvements. As such, they spend most of their time preparing for attacks against the wall.

But the ones here are just drunkards with so much arrogance that it rivals Koenji but at least Koenji can back it up unlike the soldiers here.

Finishing breakfast I washed my silverware and headed towards the open field to complete the Daily Mission for the day.

'Today's finally the day huh?' I thought to myself as I ran towards the field. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited, I mean who wouldn't be? Meeting anime characters that you thought were thought to be nothing but fiction is nothing but exhilarating.

Finally reaching the field I began completing the Daily Mission.

- - - Some time later / 3rd POV- - -

It is around 4p.m in the evening and in Shiganshina in a two-story house, three people around a table were eating food. Two of them were male and the other was female. The adult male looks to be around 30 years of age with brown hair and brown eyes, the second male is a young boy around 9 to 10 years old and has darkish brown hair with green eyes, lastly, the only female who has a colored skin tone, tied brown hair, green eyes, who had a beautiful face.

They were Grisha, Eren, and Carla who were having supper.

'I feel like a muscle head right now. If I had stopped training for a day and just explored the areas I would have had to follow them to their house but desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose I thought to myself, sighing.

*Creak*

Finally, I got up as my ears perked up hearing the door open indicating they were finally heading there. Adopting the crowds that were moving I closely followed them.

- - - 1 Hour Later - - -

Seeing the Ackerman household in the distance I entered the forests and ran at full speed. Jumping, sliding, and swinging from the trees I avoided all the obstacles in the way trying to make it to Mikasa in time.

Making it to the house, I tapped on the door a few times but got no response. Holding the handle of the door I noticed it was already open so I pushed it open and saw a gruesome scene.

Blood was spilled on the floor and the bodies of a dead man and woman lay on the floor. I was shocked as this wasn't supposed to happen so early.

'Is it because of my arrival in this world that it changed? Fuck, I should have accounted for something like this to happen and now a butterfly effect has already occurred." I thought to myself.

Going up to the bodies I checked their pulse it turns out they were already dead but the blood was still hot indicating he died a few minutes ago. Getting up from the floor I climbed up the house and checked the horizon for any tracks or clues to where they had gone.

"Who are you?!" I heard someone call out. Turning around it was Grisha Yeager and Eren Yeager who was shaken up after seeing such a gruesome scene for the first time.

"My name is Kumori Ayanokoji, and I came to this location because I heard a scream when I was exploring the forest," I said, lying naturally like I breathed, "It seems that it was Slave Traders that did it."

"Kumori! Let's go from here and report it to the scouts!" he told me.

"Nope." I said bluntly as he looked at me baffled that I refused, "The slave traders might get too far before the scouts will be able to locate them besides the scouts here are pretty pathetic, to be honest."

Before he could reply I continued, "You should go and report to them while I stop the Slave Traders before they get too far."

"You're just a kid, you should leave this type of work to the grown-ups," he said trying to convince me.

"No matter what you say I won't change my mind.

Squinting my eyes I saw dust being picked up in the distance probably from a horse. Jumping down to the ground I dashed towards Mikasa's location ignoring the shocked stares I got from the Yeagers.

- - - Inside the Carriage - - -

"This girl will fetch a good price after all women with black hair and black eyes are rare and some Noble who has a fetish for young children will buy her at a high price." Slave trader lackey 1.

"Yup you are right about that!" Slave trader lackey 2

While both of them were talking Mikasa's eyes slowly opened and saw that she was bound by ropes and other young girls tied up as well her eyes became lifeless.

Soon a tree was knocked over blocking their way.

Coming to a halt, slave traders came out of the carriage only to see a tall boy with brown hair and eyes full of darkness which sent shivers down their spine.

"Hahahaha, it's just a kid, come on let's just restrain him then put him in the back with the rest of them." Lackey one said, coming out of his fear.

"Hahaha, you're right, let's do it. I can't wait till we take them back to the boss because we're gonna make a fortune and if lucky enough he might let us keep one of them." Lackey two said grinning as they walked towards me.

- - - Kumori's POV - - -

'These guys are idiots' I thought to myself, sighing mentally. They are not wary of me at all. I mean I understand because I'm a kid but did they never suspect it was me who made the tree fall? Well, let's just end this quickly.

Dashing towards the duo, I almost instantly appeared next to the two, surprising them. Clenching my fist, I ran it through Lackey 1 solar plexus making him slouch over, coughing up blood.

"What the!"

Quickly approaching me he grabbed his knife and swung at me clumsily. Avoiding it narrowly I disarmed him and threw him over my shoulder, slamming him to the ground and knocking him out. Looking up it seemed that Lackey 1 recovered sooner than I thought. Grabbing the knife that I disarmed I quickly approached him and stabbed him in his heart killing him.

Tying up the unconscious Slave Trader I hid him in the forest before walking towards the cages. I went towards the cages and pulled off the blankets covering them. I went towards Mikasa's cage and unlocked it before looking into her lifeless eyes to which I just stared back at hers with my own which seemed to wake her up.

"Don't worry, you're safe now," I told her to try to make my voice as soft as possible.

"There's another one behind you!" she warned me.

Acting surprised I soon heard a voice from behind and saw the third Slave Trader.

"You piece of shit, I'll kill you!" he screamed out with anger.

He ran towards me trying to choke me against the carriage.

'Now I just have to wait a bit.' I thought. Right now just like in the original scene I need Mikasa to awaken her Ackerman Bloodline. As I saved her and helped her become strong she will be loyal to me and me alone. In this world I'm going to need a reliable, strong, and loyal comrade, and who is better than Mikasa? This is also necessary for her to become strong as well.

"Fight! Pick up the knife!" I told her

"Shut up! You shit!"

"I can…can't! I won't be able to!"

"We will both die if you don't! Fight!"

Mikasa shiveringly took the knife in her hands but still couldn't stab the Slave Trader.

"Fight! If you want to survive and become strong! Fight!"

Suddenly a faint purple aura was released from Mikasa. Mikasa suddenly felt a jolt of lightning throughout her body, her body and mind became calm. She was clear and she stabbed the Slave Trader, killing him.
