Chapter 183:- Vestige World Returns

As All Might walked up to his house, his heart felt heavy. He opened the door, the silence of his home echoing louder than any noise. He looked around and saw that the house was empty.

Inko and Kazuki were not there, and he couldn't find it in himself to care. They were just as responsible for Izuku's suffering as he was.

In his mind, their actions were not just acts of neglect but purposeful cruelty. They had been with Izuku every day and yet had chosen to treat him as if he were nothing. As All Might, he was tasked with the country's peace, and knew he had failed as a father.

But Inko and Kazuki, who had no such responsibilities like him and had been at home, right next to Izuku, and yet they had still pushed him to the brink.

Feeling drained, All Might decided to rest for a while before he started his search for Izuku. He trudged up to his bedroom, each step feeling like a mountain to climb.

He collapsed onto his bed, his body sinking into the mattress. Just as he closed his eyes, a strange sensation overtook him, pulling him into the vestige world of One For All.

All Might found himself standing before the previous users of One For All. Their faces were twisted in anger, eyes burning with disappointment.

"You have failed us, Toshinori," the First User's voice boomed, echoing through the void. "Look at the chaos you have allowed to happen. You were supposed to protect the peace, yet you couldn't even protect your own son."

"How could you let this happen?" Nana Shimura, All Might's mentor, stepped forward, her face a mask of fury. "You neglected Izuku, let him suffer. Now he's with Thanatos, a force of darkness, and all because of your failure!"

All Might hung his head low, shame and guilt weighing him down. "I accept my faults. I failed as a hero and as a father. I am ready to accept any punishment, even if it means my life.

But please, I need your help. I need to bring Izuku back to the path of light. I want to make amends. Please let me just make one thing right." All Might begged.

The Second User glared at him, his voice dripping with contempt. "It's not just your fault. Your wife, Inko, and your other son, Kazuki, are just as guilty.

Inko neglected Izuku on purpose, we can feel her hate, and Kazuki still harbors no regret for his actions. He curses Izuku for not dying quietly."

"Do you realize the damage you've caused?" shouted the Third User. "Because of your family's negligence, Japan is on the brink of destruction. And now, we sense something even worse.

All For One has already made contact with Thanatos. They are working together to spread chaos."

All Might's heart sank further. "What?" he gasped. "All For One is... healed?"

The previous users nodded grimly. "Yes," the Fourth User said. "All For One is being healed, and together with Thanatos, they are preparing to wreak havoc on Japan."

The Sixth User, visibly seething, added, "We can't forgive this. Inko's willful neglect and Kazuki's continued hatred have brought us to this point.

As punishment, Kazuki's quirk will be absorbed by the end of the year, leaving him quirkless. He doesn't deserve to have a quirk."

All Might did not protest. He simply nodded, the weight of their words pressing down on him. "I understand," he said quietly. "I will not object to any punishment. I just want to bring Izuku back and make amends for my mistake. Please, help me."

The First User stepped forward, his expression softening just slightly. "Very well. We will help you find Izuku. But know this, Toshinori: you must act quickly. The longer Izuku stays with Thanatos and All For One, the deeper he will fall into darkness."

The vestiges extended their hands, a surge of energy flowing into All Might. "We will give you the power of One For All once more," said the Second User. "Use Kazuki's quirk as a conduit. This power is temporary, and we will take it back once Izuku is safe."

With a sudden jolt, All Might was thrust back into the real world. He awoke in his bed, a new resolve burning within him.

He had the power of One For All again, and with it, he would find Izuku. He would make things right, no matter the cost.

While All Might got a new energy boost, Kazuki felt a strange, gnawing pain in his chest, a heavy burden that seemed to suck the life out of him with each passing moment.

He tried to shake it off, telling himself it was just stress or lack of sleep. But the sensation persisted, and with it came a creeping weakness that made his limbs feel like lead.

He sat slumped on a bench in the park, next to Bakugo. The two of them were staring at the ground, seething with anger.

"This is all Deku's fault," Kazuki spat, his voice trembling with frustration. "He's made everything so messed up. Why couldn't he just disappear? Why did he have to make a big deal out of nothing?"

Bakugo, frowning, clenched his fists, his eyes burning with rage. "I know, right? That idiot always had to be the center of attention. Now look at where we are, all because he couldn't handle being quirkless. What a joke."

Kazuki felt a sharp pang in his chest again, and he winced, rubbing the spot where it hurt the most. "I swear, sometimes I wish he had just...just died.

Would've saved us all this trouble. That stupid note he left, making us look bad. Everyone's talking about it. He's ruined everything."

Bakugo nodded, his jaw tightening. "Yeah, he should've just disappeared quietly. Now he's put us in the middle of his mess. Freakin' loser." said Bakugo as both of them kept on destroying things in the isolated park.

Meanwhile, Inko was at a dimly lit bar, surrounded by her friends who watched her with concern. She clutched a half-empty glass of whiskey, her face flushed from the alcohol.

"It's Izuku's fault," she slurred, her words heavy and muddled. "He's the reason our family is falling apart. All because he was born quirkless."

One of her friends, a woman with short black hair, reached out to touch her arm. "Inko, maybe you should stop drinking. You're not yourself right now."

Inko jerked her arm away, nearly spilling her drink. "No, no, you don't understand. He brought me so much shame.

I had to look people in the eye and see the pity. The whispers, the looks. I was embarrassed every single day."

Another friend, a man with a gentle face, tried to reason with her. "Inko, he's your son. He was just a child, you shouldn't blame him for something he had no control over."

Inko's eyes blazed with anger. "A child who should have died! Do you know what it's like to be called the mother of a quirkless boy?

He was a burden, a constant reminder of my failure. I couldn't even show my face. I wanted to hide, to disappear. I should have...I should have..."

Her friends exchanged uneasy glances, trying to calm her down, but she waved them off, taking another gulp from her glass. "He should have died during childbirth, or I should have killed him when we found out he was quirkless. Then maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't be in this mess."

Her words hung heavy in the air, and her friends fell silent, their faces a mix of shock and pity. Inko's anger gave way to a wave of sorrow, and she broke down, sobbing into her hands. "Why did this happen? Why did he have to be born that way? Everything's ruined...everything..."

Back at the park, Kazuki's pain grew worse, each heartbeat a reminder of the darkness that was slowly consuming him. He leaned forward, trying to catch his breath. "I feel so weak," he muttered, his voice barely a whisper. "Why is this happening to me?"

Bakugo looked at him, a flicker of concern crossing his face for the first time. "Hey, you okay? You look like you're about to pass out."

Kazuki shook his head, his vision blurring. "I don't know. It's like something's being taken from me. Like I'm losing a part of myself."

Bakugo, though still angry, couldn't ignore the fear in Kazuki's eyes. "Maybe you should see a doctor or something. This doesn't look right."

Kazuki nodded weakly, his thoughts drifting back to his family, to the brother he had always resented. "Yeah, maybe. But I can't help but think...if only Izuku had just..."

He never finished the sentence. The pain became too much, and he doubled over, gasping for breath. Bakugo watched helplessly, not knowing what to do or how to help his friend.

Inko, now completely lost in her own despair, continued to drink, each sip pushing her further into the abyss. Her friends could only watch, unable to reach the broken woman who was drowning in her sorrow and anger.

The darkness that had touched their family was spreading, taking its toll on each of them in different ways.

And in the silence of the night, their curses and regrets echoed, a grim reminder of the choices they had made and the consequences they now had to face.

None of this would have happened if they had just treated Izuku like a son, maybe they would have found Izuku was just a late bloomer.

Alas, they did the complete opposite, made his life so miserable that his heart was filled with darkness, now the same darkness is coming back to bite them, and they cannot do anything about it.
