The days passed by, and their lives remained unchanged. Despite their challenges, the small family trudged forward, sustained by their love for each other. But when the full moon arrived, Sett felt a sense of unease that he couldn't shake.

His mother, Mira, had always disappeared during the full moon, hiding from him for a night without explanation. Sett assumed it was her way of coping with the stress and trauma of being a single mother, but he couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding something from him.

As always, Mira at this time of the month, Mira prepared for her night out.

"Setrigh" He fast straightened his back and looked at her with a focused face. He knew her thoughts were serious when she called him by his full name. She looked at him with a severe expression and began to speak.

"Sett, I need to tell you something. I want you to promise me that you won't follow me tomorrow. I must go away for a while, and you must stay here."

Sett furrowed his brows, confusion, and worry etched on his face. "Why do you have to go away, mother? And why can't I come with you? I know you do it every month, but still, I am worried".

Mira sighed deeply, her eyes sad and distant. "I can't explain it to you yet, Sett. Just trust me, okay? This is something I have to do alone."

Sett felt a knot form in his stomach. He knew his mother was hiding something from him, which scared him. "But what if something happens to you? I need to be there to protect you."

Mira smiled at him warmly, reaching out to tousle his hair. "Don't worry, Sett. I can take care of myself. And besides, I don't want you to get hurt."

Sett grudgingly nodded, though he was far from happy about the situation. "Fine, I won't follow you. But you have to promise me that you'll come back safe."

Mira hugged him tightly, tears shining in her eyes. "I promise, Sett. I'll always come back to you." And with that, she released him and left the cottage, leaving Sett alone with his thoughts.

Despite his mother's warning, Sett couldn't just sit around and wait for her to come back, not when she was hiding something from him and not when she was in danger. He gathered his courage and set out into the forest out of the town in the direction she had gone.

The night was dark, and the trees were tall, but Sett was determined to find her. As he made his way deeper into the forest, he began to pick up signs of her passing - broken branches and footprints in the soft earth. And then, he heard it - a low growl that rumbled through the trees like thunder. Sett's heart raced as he followed the sound and reached a clearing, and there she was, his mother.

She was terrifying - white fur, red eyes, and a body surrounded by crackling electricity. Her form radiated immense power, like a swirling vortex of pure energy threatening to consume everything in its path. It was a force of nature, a disruption of raw power that pulsed and surged with every beat of the Mink's heart. The electrical sparks that surrounded her body crackled and danced, illuminating the darkness and casting a brilliant light into the sky. The energy was almost palpable, a tangible thing that could be felt by those in its presence, like the static charge of a thunderstorm or the searing heat of a wildfire. The air around her seemed to bend and warp as if the sheer power of her transformation was too much for the world to bear. It was a marvelous and terrifying thing to behold, a moment of pure transcendence that was both awe-inspiring and unsettling.

Sett was terrified by his mother's transformation. He had never seen anything like it before, and her form's sheer size and ferocity were overwhelming. Panting and sweating, Sett finally collapsed behind a tree, his heart racing as he tried to catch his breath. He looked down at his hands, realizing that they were shaking. Sett had never been so scared in his life. After a few seconds and a lot of deep breaths, he looked from behind the tree trunk into a clearing again.

Sett was shocked by what he saw. He couldn't believe that his mother, who he thought was hiding something from him, was going through such a dangerous transformation. When he focused on her, he saw chains binding her. The chains holding her in place looked sturdy and heavy, but the fact that she felt the need to restrain herself was enough to make Sett feel scared for her.

As he watched from a safe distance, he could see the power radiating from her as she transformed. The sparks of electricity that surrounded her body were a testament to the immense energy she was wielding.

As he watched his mother in her form, Sett was filled with fear and determination. He was afraid of what she might do to him if she didn't regain control, but he was also determined to be there for her and help her in any way he could. So, he stayed hidden and watched from a distance, studying her transformation and waiting for any sign that she was coming back to her senses.

Her transformation was complete, and she was entirely absorbed by a more animalistic form. Her body disrupted energy and raw power, a relentless force that threatened to consume anything and everything in its path. The forest around her was alive with the crackle, and the animals that lived there fled in terror at the sight of the wild and untamed Mink.

Sett watched in fear as his mother became more and more animalistic until there was nothing left of the person he once knew. He realized that this was why she had always hidden from him during the full moon, to protect him from the dangers of this transformation. He felt mixed emotions as he watched her, fear for his safety and sadness for losing his mother to her new form's wild and untamed state.

As Mira continued to transform, she gradually lost touch with her emotions and became increasingly animalistic. Her thoughts became simple and instinctual, focused solely on satisfying her primal desires and impulses. Her senses heightened, allowing her to pick up on the slightest sounds and scents around her. Her movements became more fluid, her muscles rippling with strength as she stalked through the forest like a predator on the hunt. She snarled and growled, her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity as she cast aside all thoughts of self-restraint and gave in entirely to the power of her other form. She was no longer Mira, the loving mother, but a force of nature, a wild and untamed beast that lived only to feed its hunger and protect itself. He saw the sparks of electricity dancing around her body and the wild, feral look in her eyes, and he knew that this was not the mother he knew.

So, he stayed hidden and watched from a distance, studying her transformation and waiting for any sign that she was coming back to her senses.

As the moon started to set and disappeared behind the trees, the transformation began to wind down. Slowly, the sparks faded, and Mira's body began to return to its standard size. The white fur and hair receded, and her eyes returned to their usual color.

When the transformation was complete, Sett cautiously approached his mother.

She was panting heavily and looked exhausted, but as soon as she saw Sett, she grew angry.

"What are you doing here?! I told you not to follow me!" Mira barked.

Sett took a step back, surprised by the ferocity in his mother's voice. "I-I was worried about you," he stammered.

Mira's anger dissipated, and she sighed heavily. "I'm sorry, Sett. I didn't mean to snap at you like that. It's just that this transformation is dangerous, and I didn't want you to get hurt."

Sett nodded and gently helped his mother stand up, the chains clattering to the ground as he unlocked them. She seemed exhausted, but there was relief in her eyes now that the transformation was over.

"Mother, why didn't you tell me about this?" Sett asked, his voice soft and concerned. "I could have helped or been there for you."

Mira sighed, a tired smile on her face. "I didn't want to worry you, Sett. I know you're strong, but the Sulong transformation is dangerous. I couldn't bear you getting hurt because of me."

Sett was quiet for a moment, considering her words. "I understand that, but I can handle it. I'm your son. I want to be here for you no matter what."

Mira looked at him, a mix of love and pride in her eyes. "I know, Sett. But for now, let's get back home and rest.

As Sett helped his mother back to their home, he noticed that she was still weakened from the transformation. He made her sit on a chair and went to the kitchen to prepare a simple meal. Mira was exhausted from the physical and emotional toll of the Sulong transformation, and Sett wanted to do anything he could to help her.

While cooking, he thought about how he had reacted when he first saw his mother in her Sulong form. He felt a mix of fear and awe at her radiating power. But he also felt a deep love and concern for her and was determined to help her in any way he could.

Once the meal was ready, Sett served it to Mira and sat beside her. He looked into her eyes and said, "I'm sorry I didn't understand what was happening. I want to help you with this, whatever it is. Just tell me what I can do."

Mira smiled weakly at her son and took his hand. "I'm proud of you, Sett," she said. "But there's not much you can do. The Sulong transformation is something that all Minks have to face, and it's not something that can be helped or fixed. All I can do is make sure I'm prepared for it and try to control it as much as possible."

Sett nodded, understanding. "Well, I'm here for you," he said. "And I'll always be here to help in any way I can."

Mira smiled again, feeling deep love and gratitude for her son. She took a bite of the meal and settled back into her chair, knowing she was in good hands.

As they settled into their beds, Sett couldn't help but think about what he had just witnessed. He felt a mix of fear, awe, and love for his mother. He had always known that she was different from the other townspeople, but he could never have imagined the sheer power that she held within her. Despite her warning, he was glad that he was able to witness her transformation. He wanted to understand more about her and her kind.
