(y/n)'s pov:

Not anymore, I'm not going to lose anymore of my comrades just because I was late to save them. I look back at Annie, but she was quick. She doesn't want us to caught her, Oh Annie if only you knew.

Gunther says, 'Thanks, (y/n)! I would have die back there.'

'No problem, I don't want to see another one of my comrades die again. Let's retreat.' They all nodded and I try to find another way to the horses. But the attack I made to Annie didn't stop her from chasing us.

'Who is that?' She yell out in fear. 'It's the female titan. Just like I said, she managed to disguise herself.' I answered back.

'Protect Eren!! Eld, which way should we go?' Oluo shout at Eld. 'For now, we can't go back to the horses. Let's retreat back where the team is.' Eld says as he swing fast to the front.

'Whoever you are, come at me. I don't care if I die killing you.' Petra then turn back at Annie. As time on cue, Annie retreat back and all of us saw the lightning meaning Annie has changed to the female titan.

'Just as (y/n) says, here she comes, the female titan!' Eld warned us.

'Sh*t, how dare you. I'll kill you right here, right now!' Eren prepares to bite his hand. 'Eren, not now! It's not the time yet!' I shout at Eren making him stop.

Eld nodded, '(y/n)'s right, Us, 4 will kill the titans! (y/n), you protect Eren and get him back to the team safely!'

'I'm not leaving you guys here. I'll join the fight with you.' I argued back.

'(y/n), don't you trust in us? Do you think we won't be able to kill the titan?' Petra looks at me and tells me.

'It's not that, I don't trust you, but I don't want to regret my choice! I'm sorry!' I pleaded them and then, 'Eren, remember what I said! It's time, CHANGE NOW!'

In an instant, Eren change into its titan form. 'Sorry everyone, just argue with me after this fight is over.' I said then went to attack the female titan.

They know that they can't argue now but just follow my lead. I know I'm going to get kill after this, well if I survived this. Before I got to attack, Eld and the others went to the female titan and their teamwork amazed me.

They managed to cut of the hands of the female titan, but she sure is strong to be able to avoid the attacks from them. Eren went into combat formation and start to attack Annie. He kick Annie in the stomach and punch her but Annie avoid it. I went in and start to slash her legs, to not let her stand again. The team slash the titan eyes making her blind for a minute.

Now is the time, she going to regenerate one of her eyes only. I saw Eld about to go attack her but I push him out first from getting hit from the hands of the female titan. Eld got shocked by my action and saw why I did that. But unluckily, my leg got hit by the titan hand and fall down. Eren held his hand out catching me before I got hit by the floor. 'Petra, move back!' I yell at her.

The female titan gather her strength and start to escape. Gunther was about to follow her but Eld stop him. 'Our mission is to protect Eren, not to kill the female titan. We go back to where our horses and that's it!' I was put gently down by Eren, then Eren comes out from his titan form.

Thank God, that my leg doesn't get hit real bad or I don't know what I would do. But I think it's broken, it's just only the lower part of my thigh. I'll manage. Eren comes to me and look at my leg. 'I don't think you would be able to walk easily now!'

'Don't worry, Eren. I'm fine, at least I'm not dead yet.' I grin at him. He hit my head and says, 'Try to be careful next time, your lucky you just hit your leg!'

'That's not how you treat your wounded sister, ya know?' I yell back at him. 'What happened here?' Levi arrived and ask us. Gunther reports, 'The female titan escaped, and (y/n) broke her leg.'

'I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm not dead yet, still alive and don't scold me, ok? And can we please go back to the team now? because there still might be titan around us.' Levi nodded and start to order them to retreat to the horses. My leg hurts as hell but I can still use the gear. Eren help me stand up and use his gear just by my side in case if I fell down.

We got back to the team and Levi went to Erwin to report. Suddenly, Oluo come and grab my collar lifting me up a little.

'Hey, what's your problem, Oluo?' I look at him saw he's angry at me. Must be because of what happened back there.

'You could have just followed the order and just protect Eren. Do you only trust in your strength? Are we pathetic in your eyes? What? You want to show us your strength that you're better than us or what b*tch!'

'It's not like that, Oluo.'

'Oluo, you're going too far.' Gunther interferes but I stop him.

'It's nothing like that! I was trying to save all of you! Ok? I'm done seeing my teammates die in front of me. You guys are stronger than me, better than me but you don't know what the female titan will do to you.' I yell back and I bet everyone hear the pain and agony in my words. Thomas' death still haunts me. I act like I'm ok but I'm still broken.

'I don't care if you guys hate me or don't want to talk to me anymore! You can kick me out from the team if you want! But that's fine, all of you being alive right now is what matters to me! You can punch me or hit me right here. Come on! Do it!' I said then I close my eyes and wait for the impact. But nothing happens.

Oluo let me go and just walk back to his horse. 'Oluo!' He turns around when I called him. 'I trust all of my squad and please believe me! And I'm sorry! I truly am!' As I said that I bow down.

I forgot about my leg and the pain start to hit me. 'Ahh!' I yell out in pain as I fell down. '(y/n), why did even try that when you're hurting?' Oluo run back to me checking my pain.

'Oh, you still care! I thought you don't! So that's mean we're ok now?'

'Shut up! You still can joke around!' Oluo help me stand up and help me get on my horse.

'It's my leg which is hurt not my mouth!' I plug my tongue with a winky face, teasing him. He just said yeah, yeah and went back to his horse.

Erwin gives us order to retreat back to the walls now. I thought I would die but I'm still alive. I can still help in the future. '(y/n), are you sure you ok?' A voice interrupt me from my thoughts.

And it was Levi, the one and only. 'Oh, Captain. I'm fine. Don't worry.' I smile at him. 'Can you tell me what happen back there in details?' Levi ask me.I nodded then explained what happen.

'I know what would happen when I make that choice. I know what I will go through after that fight and I know I'll lost the trust my team have on me. But I don't regret my choice. It's their lives or the trust.' I tell as I think about what happen in the anime. Now, their family will be happy when they come back alive.

'It's not your fault, and you made the right choice. Oluo will forgive you and also the others. And I'm not kicking you out.' He said as he went forward. Will they really forgive me? I hope so.

I open my book and check what will happen when we got back to the wall. Oh... Petra's father going to tell Levi about the marriage. That can't be help. I'll just see what Levi will say but the answer is already obvious. He's going to marry Petra. It's for sure.

Don't think about it now, (y/n). You'll be fine. I'll be fine. Half an hour went by and we got back the wall. People start to gossip around us by how only few people were left. We got great loss of the cadets and the mission was fail. I walk through the crowd with Marco holding me by side. Mikasa and Eren were walking behind me.

And there I saw Petra's father going to Levi's side. I know it's not possible but I hope he deny him. Well, that's just my dream. 'Captain Levi, my daughter is from your squad. I'm Petra's father. I want to talk with you for a moment before I talk to my daughter.' Levi kept walking on but I know he's listening.

Petra's father pull out a note, 'My daughter even sent me this note saying that she got into the squad because the Captain like her skills, and she said she's going to be devoted to you. And I can't even describe it in words on how I felt proud when she tells me that. Well she is still young, and I can't even find a proper partner for her and she still hasn't fully matured yet. So I'll cut down short, I want to make a proposal for you to marry my daughter. Will you accept the offer, Captain?'

There he said it. I check Levi's expression expecting to see a shock or happy one, but it's just his usual face.

Levi then spoke up, 'Your daughter is a very valuable asset to my squad, and I appreciate her for being in my squad. But I decline your proposal.'

'You are still single and not wedded yet right? Petra is also a beautiful woman and I think you both suit each other. Can you please think about it?' Petra's father requested again.

'Sorry to say, sir.' Then Levi walk to me and grab me from Marco and walk back to Petra's father. 'But I have a girlfriend and this is her. Meet (y/n) (l/n), sir. So I hope you understand.'

A... what?

Am I hearing wrong? I'm his girlfriend?
