(y/n)'s pov:

I'm his girlfriend? He must be joking me. 'Oh your the girl that Petra bring along when she visited me. Sorry for not knowing Levi is your boyfriend. I'm sorry for the offer. I hope I can find a good one for Petra in the future.'

'It's fine, sir.' I smiled nervously at him. 'If you'll excuse us. We have to head back to our HQ, now.' Levi butted in. Petra's father nodded and went back to the crowd. But the thing is Levi still is hugging my side, he's not letting me go. I look back at Marco and give him a look come take me from him. Marco just shook his head nope I don't want to die yet.

I give back a look Levi is not that scary for you to be afraid, Marco. He shook his head again I'll pass. Great, I'm stuck here. It's not that I don't mind. But it's awkward. We are dating for real and I've been trying to avoid him since after the confession. He knows that I like him but I don't know if he likes me back.

But he could have other girls to be his pretend girlfriend than me. Maybe because I was the closest? Yeah, that's must be it.

We arrived to the HQ and I'm in the infirmary now. I got patched up by Mikasa. The others team also move back to the old HQ. Then Mikasa starts to ask me, 'So you and Levi,huh?'

'No it- it's not like that. We are not dating or even have any special relationship. I think he just want to cancel the offer politely and  choose me as the reason.' I start to stutter and answer it quickly.

'But you like him don't you? The way you stutter and you were blushing like crazy when he was hugging you.'

'Well... yes. I do like him but he wouldn't like me back. Anyway, I already did confess him.' I murmur the last sentence but Mikasa caught that.

'YOU CONFESS TO CAPTAIN LEVI?' She yell out making me cover her mouth not wanting the others to hear. 'Low your voice down. I don't want the others to know. Yes, I confess him but I'm not expecting to get an answer from him. And now I'm avoiding him.'

'Well, who would know that (y/n)'s heart got flutter by the cold Levi. But (y/n), is he nice to you or did he hit you like he did to Eren?' Mikasa said as she grits her teeth.

'Are you still angry about what happened back then? You know why he did that, Don't you? Just get over it.' Then the door went open and Eren, Armin showed up.

'Oh, Armin. What brings you here?' I asked him. 'Is you leg ok now?' He ask still worried about it. 'Well, it's ok. But I'll have to walk with crutches, and it's hard to walk with that.'

'That's good to hear. Try to walk carefully from now on.' Eren said as he ruffled my hair. I have known them for years and yet I been keeping secrets from them. I have to tell them sometime soon. But not here. I don't want others to hear it yet.

'Armin, do you know where Commander Erwin is?'

'I think I saw him went back to his office. Why?'

'Thanks, I have something to report to him. I'll be going then'

'You sure you can walk now, (y/n).' Eren ask concerned about my leg. I stand and walk around show them that I'm ok. 'I'll be seeing at dinner time.' I walked out and go to Erwin's office.

'I knock on the door and went in. I saw Hange and Erwin were talking. And I think I saw a smirk from Hange. It's not what matters now.

'What brings you here, (y/n)?' Erwin asked me.

'I have something to report about the female titan.'

'Ah, yes. We were just discussing about it now. Sit here.' Erwin said as he pointed to the seat next to Hange.

'Well, did both of you figured out who the female titan is?'

They bothe shook their head and continued to listen to what I say.

'From the figure and her fighting pose, It's Annie Leonhart from the 104th trainee corps, Commander. She is currently in the military right now. And there might be other spy in our groups. But I think you already figured out the spy part.'

'Annie Leonhart? We'll look onto it. We will have a meeting at night with some of your friends. And can you report this to Levi?'

'Me? How about Hange?'

'Are you not free at the moment? Or is it about what happen earlier?' He said with a teasing voice. I swear I wish everyone would stop teasing me about it now.

'N-no, sir. I'll report to Captain Levi, sir.' My cheeks might be red now. Ugh, stop blushing on everything, (y/n). 'Then I'll be heading to Captain Levi's office. If you'll excuse me.' I bow at him and went out the room.

Levi, you just have to choose me. Ughhh, Now even Erwin is teasing me. I got to Levi's room and knock on it. I hear a come in and I walked in.

'Commander Erwin asked me to give you a report on who the female titan is and the meeting which will happen tonight. The female titan is Annie Leonhart who is from the 104th trainee corp who is in the military now. And that concludes my report, Captain.'

He nodded and I bow to him and was about to walked out from the room but Levi stop me.

'(y/n)!' 'Yes, sir?'

'I meant what I said back there. That's all. You may go now.' Then I excused myself out. What did he mean by that? Maybe he meant that he doesn't like Petra, and he doesn't want to get marry, that's it right? Then who does he like? Maybe he doesn't have any interest right now? I should have ask him why he choose me as his pretend girlfriend. Nope, I'm not going to ask him now. I will just embarrass myself.

Right now, we are currently sitting around the table. Erwin, Levi, Hange, Moblit, Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Eren, and some cadets I don't remember name of and of course, Me! They started the meeting after everyone arrived.

The conversation goes on about who the female titan is and the plan to capture her. Eren got shocked when he knew who the female titan is. Erwin told us they will start the operation in a week, and told all of us to prepare for it.

The meeting was over within an hour and everyone leaves one by one. As I was heading out, I hear Erwin called me, Hange was also beside him. '(y/n), thanks for the report earlier. You help us a lot, and I forgot to said back then, Congratulations.'

'Congratulations? For what, sir? I don't quite catch up on what you say?'

'Didn't you and Levi talk? Don't he say anything to you?

'Yes, he did. He said he meant what he said back there.'

'And do you know the full meaning behind that?' Erwin ask with full of anticipation.

'He meant that he doesn't like Petra and don't want to get marry. He meant that right?' I smile nervously as I scratched my head.

'O-oh, yeah he meant by that. Then you are excuse (y/n), I'll be seeing you tomorrow. Have a good night.'

'You too sir, and also Hange, hope you have a good night.' I walked out and go to my room. I washed up and change into my casual night clothes. I'm so worn out now. I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling.

So much happened today. I managed to save Levi's squad and thankfully the squad forgave me. And Levi used me as his pretend girlfriend. He might not feel anything but my heart was beating fast when he was hugging me. Do you think he heard my heart beat?

You and your thoughts, (y/n). Let's head to the rooftop to have some fresh air and some lone time.

I sit on the edge of the roof and place my crutches beside me. The moon is so peaceful.

The advantages of being at the HQ is I got to admired the beauty of night. I heard footsteps behind me and look back. And it was Levi. How did he know I was here? I don't know how to start the conversation with him. It's awkward being alone with him.

He comes sit beside me, he put his hand down and dangle his foot off the roof. I put hand down but slightly touching his hand

I don't know if he noticed but I feel his warmth just by touching his fingers. Here I am, fangirling from the inside just because I got to touch hi fingers.

'Can't sleep?' Levi ask me making me come back to reality. 'Kind of, mostly just here to admire the moon.' I smiled as I look at the moon. 'What about you? What brings you here?'

'Just saw you walk up here, so I thought I would follow you here.' I got flutter by what he said. What did he meant by that? It's not what you think, (y/n). I just nodded and continued to look at the scenery.

'The moon is beautiful, isn't it?' Levi suddenly ask me out of the blue. Wait, I know what he meant. I remember it. When I was in the real world I read about it. That Japanese people in old days said this sentence instead of saying I love you. (A/n: it's true! I hope some of you know this. It was in the novel of Natsume Souseki)

I look back at Levi not believing what he said to me. Maybe he said this not knowing this meaning. But the look he gives me tells me he knows the meaning. It can't be. Then he start to intertwined our hands.

'Yes, it is, Levi' I smiled as I felt happiness fill me. He started to lean slowly to me, and our lips touch. It was more than I expected. The feeling is amazing. All this times, I have always thought that he wouldn't like me. But he felt the same way. We broke apart and admire at each other.

'What I said back at the office was for the girlfriend one, not the marriage one. You sure are dense.' Levi said as he move closer to me.

'Hey, who would have thought you would like me back? You never show interest in me or any other way. I'm not dense.' I argue back and give him an annoyed look.

He chuckled, 'Ok you're not dense. I still have one question to ask you? I want to be able to call you mine and I love you, (y/n). Back then when you confessed to me. I was about to tell that I love you back but Hange got in the way and you start to avoid me. Will you do the honor and be my girlfriend, (y/n)? I promise I'll love you as long as I live.'

I felt tears start to come out after he said, 'You already know the answer, Levi. Why are you even asking? Of course, I would gladly be your girlfriend.' I hug him tight not wanting him to see my tears. I felt him hug me back. I finally got to call the man I love as my boyfriend.

'I love you, Levi. I love you a lot.'

'I love you more.' He said as he starts to lean in to kiss me. And it was the most memorable night for me.

I woke up and saw that I wasn't in my room. And I saw 3DMG gears beside me and some supplies. Wait, where am I? I then sit up and look around. I was outside the wall. I saw Mikasa beside me checking on me.

'Mikasa, where are we right now? Tell me!'

'We retreating back to the walls. You got unconscious after you hit your head from falling down from your horse.'

'Is this after we fight the female titan?' I ask her not believing what she said.

'Yes, you're right. Did the hit get to you? You should rest, (y/n).' So that means all the things that happened was a dream? Levi confessing to me? The kiss? All of it was a dream?

Well, (y/n) this is the reality. Levi would never like you back. We arrived to the wall and the same happen as usual. The crowd gossip about us and as on time Petra's father showed up. He went to Levi's side and start to talk to him. But the answer Levi give back to him is not what I wished to hear.

'Yes, sir. I accept your offer for the marriage. I have like your daughter since she began to join my squad. Actually I was planning on to do that.' Levi said as he goes to Petra and kneel down. He pull out a ring and said 'Will you marry me and be my wife, Petra?'

The day I wished that wouldn't happen become a reality. All of those are just a dream, (y/n). Levi loving me back? That wouldn't happen. I saw the happy couple as they kiss each other passionately.

I feel happy for Levi, finally he find his own happiness and he's going to marry her. I try myself to not cry in front of them. I saw Hange give me a look as if she asking me if I'm ok. I give her a smile telling her I'm fine. I know thei day would come. But why did it hurt so much?

Two weeks past by and it was the day Levi and Petra's wedding day. Petra ask me to be her bridesmaid but I declined her saying I was sick, but she tells me to come to her wedding no matter what? She's happy that she finally got to marry her loved one. I'm sure Levi felt the same way.

I was on the upstairs of the church, no one was there, so I was the only one there. I look down and saw Levi in his wedding suit.

He look perfect as usual. And the girl he is going to marry isn't me. And the truth hurts me like hell. Mikasa noticed that I like Levi these two weeks and always try to help me. I don't want to look pathetic in front of her.

Today, I'm officially going to lose him, the man who I love with all my heart. Then the wedding march started. Petra walk in with her father and Levi was smiling, giving her the smile he didn't give to others. Oh how I wish I was Petra.

I wish both of you good luck. Levi, this will be the last day I love you. I love you, Levi. Hope you have the happiness you're looking for.
