Tiana's point of view:
I started running not knowing where, all I knew was that I needed to get away from here. It feels sick not knowing where you are and where to go, but that wasn't the issue.
Something feels weird about this place, it feels like I'm running in the same circle.
Worse, beasts on four legs were hunting on me. I was alone trying to get away, meanwhile; there were hundreds.
Their howls grow fear inside of my heart, and my survival instincts suggest that I shall run for my life, and never stop.
Hours of running and hiding, but they still didn't give up on hunting me.
The light started vanishing, and the moon started making it toward the sky. My body started feeling exhausted, but I was still rooming in the same places which I couldn't understand no matter how hard I tried.
I tried to dodge them as hard as I could, yet they seemed to find me whenever I tried to hide myself.
Those wolves were not only vicious but willing to die for their alpha, Tristan. Why on earth would someone want to sacrifice himself for a beast, Tristan?
The wolves were divided into groups, and each group seemed to patrol a specific era, which of course, made it too hard for me to hide myself.
I was lost; the woods are getting darker. It's either if it's the highest tree or the creepiest den where I kept hiding myself in. Still, each and every time, a group of wolves found me.
The weirdest part is that even when after killing the wolves that found me, they managed to lead the others toward me. It's as if they were connected to each other in somehow.
It was getting dark, and I started feeling tired and weak, not to mention that I'm afraid.
I did drive myself inside of a well-hidden den, then decided to relax my body for a while.
But out of nowhere, my nose captured a special scent – my savior, Aeron.
His scent kept getting stronger and stronger until he reached where I was hiding. His good-looking appearance wasn't as good as Tritan's, still, I was happy to see him here.
Wait... Why am I thinking about Tristan, that's unacceptable. I shook my head, threw away all sorts of ideas I had about Tristan, and focused more on Aeron.
"Aeron!" I called him, then ran towards him, embracing his body into a long hug.
"It's alright princess… You're safe now!"
"Please! Take me out of here! I can't stand it anymore… I rather die, than to go back to where they were holding me. Those wolves are monsters" I started panicking while imagining all that I've been through, but then stopped since I started feeling something odd.
Unlike me, he seemed calm, like knowing what he's doing.
"That's alright princess, just follow me, and I'll promise you… You'll be safe."
My instinct screamed that something wasn't alright, and having no control over my body, I found my fangs getting ready to be released.
"How did you find me?"
"It's not coincident…" was all he said before he started looking at my eyes?
"Interesting!" He started, then added. "What exactly happened to you there?"
His question took me back, then I found myself re-asking the same question.
"What is it? What's wrong with my eyes?"
"Last I remember, your eyes were green…" He started but never finished what he was saying.
"How about now?" I asked and instead of answering, he got a device out of his pocket, a phone. Then hand it to me.
The dark screen of the phone wasn't showing my clear reflection. Yet, it was clear to show the color of my eyes. It was purple, the same as what I've seen in my vision.
I was about to speak when Aeron's hands covered my mouth, and his eyes shine red. Only then did I come to notice footsteps coming near to where we were hiding.
I took the hint to calm myself while Aeron used his gift to hide our scent. Yet, the footsteps kept on coming toward us, me.
"She's right here… I've found her!"
Call me dumb, but it took me a while to release what was happening around me.
I baited Aeron's hand in order to free myself from his hold, but then it all started making sense.
A drop of his blood fell down my throat was all I needed to get a scene out of Aeron's mind. He was standing along with Tristan and angrily shouting at him.
"You supposed to kill her, that's all you needed to do. Instead, you give her a chance to ruin it all."
Tristan, on the other hand, didn't like the way Aeron was speaking to him. So, while speaking the same manner, Aeron started shouting.
"You don't tell me what I should do. I'm not killing her, and I don't have to explain a thing to a bloodsucker like you." He breathed in and out, then continue. "I'll have her back, and I'll make her regret the slight thought of running."
"You are capable of nothing!" Aeron spoke while not hiding his anger, but he wasn't shouting like Tristan was.
He kept his style elegant and voice steady. "While we're talking here, she might be half away finding her way back to the vampires' palace, and if she does, it's all done for both of us."
"No, she won't!" Tristan's voice got calmer than a while ago.
"When I first brought her here, I put in consideration the fact that she might run, and to prevent her. I forced one of the French Quarter witches to cast a spell on her. No matter how hard she tries or runs, she won't be able to leave my territories."
That way, the vision was all over, and I wasn't able to see more. Yet, I could finally get why I couldn't leave those woods.
"You!" I shouted while looking at the one I used to trust. Hatred grew inside of my heart while I was fighting against the pain of betrayal. "It was you from the beginning! Why would you do such a thing to me?"
"My apologies princess, but I would rather rule the vampire kingdom on my own than to have an imbecile toy of her ruthless father as you by side."
Although I was feeling pain, I knew it wasn't the right time for feelings. So, I got myself ready to drink more from the jerk blood.
Using my super speed, I took him out of surprise, and before that my fangs kisses his neck, I felt sparks flying all over my body, right after an immense pain.
My entire body was thrown away from Aeron followed by one of his scariest growls. I started trembling with fear. No, not going to happen again, I'm not going back there again…
