Chapter 148: Real fun

The demon stood in the middle of the dead bodies seemingly calm as he wiped his hands off the blood. He threw the handkerchief behind him before he glanced at the crowd in front of him.

A smile played along his lips as he observed the humans.

"So weak... it was fun to catch you guys off-guard"

His eyes flashed as a bloody grin spread across his face, "The fun of watching you struggle in my hands..." His grin faded as he narrowed his eyes and tutted, "Tch! you just ruined my fun. How are you planning to compensate me?"

The demon stomped on the body in front of him and numerous crack echoed in the silent night as the bones broke from the still body, making everyone gulp hard. The soldiers who had escaped the blood bath luckily slowly withdrew their steps with their swords shaking.

Usui scanned his people and clutched his sword harder. The demon had wiped out half of their people, leaving the ones who escaped, shaking in fear.
