Chapter 28: Dungeon First Boss

Tony thought nothing about the incident that happened because he knows that in this vast world, some are good while others are simply trash. So Tony didn't put it on his mind as he approached the Dungeon entrance.

To enter Wolf Den one need only be around 20 yards from the entrance and a notification will Pop up

[Do you wish to enter Wolf Den dungeon]

Wolf Den is a level 6 dungeon that can be played either solo or with a team of 6, Tony chose the solo option when another notification popped up

[Please choose the difficulty]

Simple, Challenging, Hard, and Nightmare

(As your level is higher than the dungeon by 3 levels you can only choose between the last two)

The last part of the notification didn't surprise Tony as he had hanche that the system won't let him clear the dungeon easily, however from the start, Tony put in his mind clearing the dungeon only at the highest difficulty or else it won't be worth it.

The Transfer Passage in front of the Wolf Den changed from a pure-white color to pitch-black.

Meanwhile, the area in front of the Wolf Den was completely silent. All of the players were stunned. They were not just shocked, but thunderstruck. A Level 5 Elite party from Amazon Lily couldn't even clear the Simple Mode, yet a solo player had actually chosen the Nightmare Mode of the Wolf Den as if it was a walk in the park for him.

"Are my eyes playing a trick on me or did he choose the highest difficulty"

"Damn we are struggling in the easiest difficulty yet this menace chose Nightmare on his first try" most players were shocked by Tony's choice,

"What an interesting fellow" Nine Feng was interested in Tony

"Brother Feng compared to you how strong he's" asks Eternal Knight who after equipping the new equipment seems to become even more stronger, yet the way he speaks to Nine Feng was full of respect as if the latter was the leader of the group, and not him.

"In terms of Combat capacity he's no match for me" replied Nine Feng with absolute confidence "but in terms of equipment then he's a mile ahead of me and almost all players so we can confirm that this mysterious person is someone lucky and with real abilities"

"Alright let's go back to our business as we must clear the dungeon with our new equipment or else I will die from shame if we can't do it" Nine Feng words made the Temple Knights team's passion begin to burn as they thought how the others will envy them when they complete the dungeon. All the other guilds, especially Amazon Lily, were anxious as they didn't want the honor of the dungeon's first clearance to go to their enemy.

Almost all the players in the Wolf Den didn't put Tony in their minds for the first clearance of the dungeon, because all those who tried to run the dungeon in the Nightmare difficulty died as soon as they entered the dungeon. This speaks volumes of how hard the highest difficulty is, so Tony has zero chance to clear the dungeon even though he was strong in his own right.

After Tony was teleported inside the dungeon, he saw many packs of wild wolves wandering this endless plain, each consisting of three wolves. Tony counted 6 such packs which meant 18 wolves to battle. With the help of his [Reality Eye] Tony saw far away on a small hill a gigantic wolf that bore two heads, and each possessed a pair of glowing red eyes, and the wolf erie aura felt as if it had climbed up from the pits of hell in search of fresh prey.

[Savage Wolf] (Elite)

Lv: 6

HP: 2500

Skills: Double Impact, Claw Gale, Blessings

Tony was surprised because any random wolf in this dungeon is probably stronger than any monster he fought till that minute.

While Tony was surveying the plain the closest wolf group to him already noticed him.

The three Savage Wolves were very smart. Like real wolves, they did not move alone. They slowly surrounded Tony and planned their attack from multiple sides, searching for weaknesses while giving him no time to react.

The Savage Wolves' behavior surprised Tony, is the dungeon giving me even a chance? Tony thought to himself while praying that the other wolves don't notice his presence or else his death would be quick.

Yet before Tony could refocus, the three Savage Wolves pounced from three different directions.

They might be a threat to ordinary players. However, these Savage Wolves were still only Elite-ranked monsters, their Attack Speed was too low to be effective against someone with Tony's combat capacity. Their attack patterns were also quite obvious.

Tony evaded the Savage Wolves' attacks with slight movements. As the monsters brushed past him, he brandished Humming Blade and Jade Sword, three sword lights sliced at the three Savage Wolves in their weak spot.

The impact threw all three Savage Wolves as damage of over -1700 appeared above each of their heads. The counterattack injured all three monsters, and with pained whimpers, they turned back to Tony with fear in their eyes.

System: Shadowless Stance Completion Rate 100%

"Damn since when did achieving 100% completion with an S-rank skill become easy" Tony was baffled because he was casually able to achieve something he achieved only with the skill that he created personally, as for the system skills it would be hard unless he understood the skill thoroughly.

Flaming passion began to burn in his eyes. Tony immediately charged at the frightened Wolves in an attempt to replicate the feeling of his previous attack.

As soon as Tony stepped forward, the three Savage Wolves did something that surprised Tony. As they turned and fled. They weren't behaving like normal monsters at all.

These Savage Wolves' Movement Speeds were high, and if they split up and fled to other wolf packs it would make Tony's job of killing them separately even harder, so Tony tossed coarseness away as he activated [Rapid step] that raises his speed by 100% and [Ghost Step] that raises his speed by 200%simulatiounaly, so for the next 20 seconds Tony speed reached a terrifying high to the point where before the three wolves could even put a few yards between them and him.

Like a ghost, Tony appeared in their midst. The Savage Wolf didn't even notice him as he brandished both swords and released a storm of strikes at the pitiful Savage wolves that died without even being given a chance to react.

Tony stood there enjoying the sensation of dominating the fight while marveling at how his technique's execution has improved so drastically since the beginning of the game.

After that Tony took the same approach against the rest of the five packs, as he took one pack at the same time separately as it took him an hour to finish the six packs. From them, he got what Tony considered a good harvest

Bronze x56

Wolf pelt (15 common, 6 uncommon, 3 rare)

Wolf feng (10 common, 12 uncommon, 8 rare)

Key

[Double Impact] (B)

When attacking the enemy causes an additional 50% damage

[Blessings] (B)

Buff allies in an area of 7 yards with 20% agility and 30% defense

After taking a 10 minute's rest to go back to his peak, Tony started approaching the first boss of the dungeon

[Twin-headed Alpha] (Special Elite)

Level: 7

HP: 10000

Skill: Double Impact, Claw Gale, Air Sickle, and Typhoon Cut

The aura of the Twin-headed Alpha can be described as menacing, it was just standing there yet Tony could feel death looming around him so he pushed his senses to the extreme when suddenly he saw a sneer formed in the Twin-headed Alpha that made Tony shudder as it opened both mouths And used [Air Sickle].

Tony reacted quickly as he jumped backward trying to evade the area of the skill effect only to find that the Twin-headed Alpha was above him

'Fuck it's a trap' Tony said to himself as he tried to block the claw that was descending at him.

Booom!!

Tony crashed into the ground as 30% of his HP was lost like that. Tony wanted to adjust himself, however, the Twin-headed Alpha didn't give him a chance, as it kept attacking Tony fiercely, each attack being extremely powerful. A single swipe from its paws could easily shatter the land.

Tony kept rolling on the ground evading each of the monster strikes, before doing an acrobatic move that ended with him standing on his feet again.

"You damn stupid beast you dare to make me roll around" Tony was so angry that his face turned red, as his menacing killing intent exploded which made the Twin-headed Alpha tremble slightly, Tony used that to his advantage as he activated [Rapid step] and [Ghost Step], with a step he appeared behind the monster soundlessly and activated his strongest skill [traceless Sword]

Aoooooooww

The Twin-headed Alpha howled in pain And a -4900 appeared above its head, while a big wound appeared between the two heads which were affecting it greatly.

After the attack was successful Tony didn't give the Twin-headed Alpha any room to recover, as he kept attacking it while maneuvering around it and chipping as much as he could from it, because Tony knew If he fought a direct battle against the Twin-headed Alpha, there was no question that he would die even if the monster was heavily injured.

Because most predators will become more fierce when injured, the more the fight prolonged the braver Tony became as he mostly grasped its attack timing even when the monster. Even when the Twin-headed Alpha used [Double Impact] or [Claw Gale] Tony was surprisingly able to neutralise them easily.

The only problem was when the Twin-headed Alpha HP fall below 2000, it released an angry roar and used the ultimate skill [Typhoon Cut] that has a wide AOE, if not for Tony timidly activating his armor skill [Darkbright barrier] which absorbed 1200 of the attack damage leaving only -450 that hit him straight.

Yet even with armor help, Tony was left with only 20HP, a sneeze from the Twin-headed Alpha might kill him. Yet the monster was in an even worse state after using the skill as it entered a weakened state which was Tony's golden chance as he drank a health potion and delivered the last attacking barrage that took the Twin-headed Alpha remaining HP.

As Tony saw the monster drop dead he sighed in relief as he lay down looking at the sky, this fight was by far the hardest he ever fought since entering Legend Myth yet it was also filled with excitement as Tony started anticipating his fight with the remaining two bosses.

The outside world in one of the world's Tier 1 cities "Cousin you must take revenge for me that bastard humiliated me in front of thousands I only wanted to trade with him yet he killed my party and me " Chris said to his cousin through a hologram "I was going to tell him about you yet yet the bastard didn't even give me a chance to express myself" he was talking in a tone as if he was wronged.

"If you spent your time trying to improve yourself rather than scheming around would be better for you" the one in a hologram was a handsome man that has a calm and confident smile as if nothing can affect him in any way "however I'm interested in this person that can scare thousands with his killing intent alone so I'm coming to where you're don't do anything before I am there" his words sent chills in the Chris back as he kept nodding his head.

'With my cousin around that ant would suffer a fate worse than death' Chris sneered while thinking of Tony 'how dare he humiliate me when my cousin is literally a God in VR world'.
