The Marine got shanked

A week had passed since Robin and I have leaver the Ohara Island. Many events had happened during my stay. From admiral arriving at the island to me and robin planning to meet her mother. It was kind of fun in a way since it was my first time in a while interacting with many people.

~ Flashback~

Warm light enters my room, colouring it a soft yellow. I opened my eyes only to find Robin was sitting on the bed. "Hi Jake," she said. To be honest she looks so cute, almost make me hug her.

"Good morning, Robin-chan~" I replied groggily

"Let's go, Clover-san had prepared some breakfast,"

"Ok," I went to the bathroom and clean myself. After that, I went downstairs where I was greeted by Robin and Clover.

"Good morning boy, come here, eat some foods," Clover begin filling some rice into my bowl.

"Good morning Clover-san, Thanks for the food," I sit down and began eating them slowly. Meanwhile, Robin was looking at me intently, sometimes blushing, sometimes not.

"Robin please stop staring at me, it embarrassing. Oh yeah, Clover-san, do you have the latest newspaper?" This cause Robin to hide her flushed face behind an upside-down book which made me blushed at her cuteness. However, she seemed to be unaware of such a thing.

"Here you go," said Clover who seemed to be unaware of "event" that occurred between Me and Robin.

When I looked at the newspaper, the foods inside my mouth to went to the wrong hole which makes me choke. This cause both, Robin and Clover, to be startled.

"Whoa, what happened Jake?" asked a concerned Robin.

"No..Nothing...I was just surprised that someone dares attacked the world noble...," I said to them while trying to hide my nervousness. I then continue reading the newspaper. It mentions about a flying seaking which have killed hundreds of people, which include 3 celestial nobles. But that not what made he choked, it was about the warning given by the Marine which stated that flee on sight instead of normal bounty. 'Luckily there is no picture of me, or else I might have to go away from this island' I said to myself

After I finished my breakfast, I asked Robin to come with me to the cliff where we meet earlier. When we reached the cliff, I began asking whether she told others about my power, which she replied no. After that, we continued chatting, where she asked about me such as where I come from and so on. This lasted until it was almost nighttime. On the way back, we meet several people some were nice while other not so much, especially to Robin. It almost escalated to a fight due to a 15 years old boy threw a stone to Robin which almost hit her head. When I saw that, I enraged. "Oi shithead, why did you throw stones at Robin!!"

"Shut up, you stranger!! She a monster!! that's why" the shithead replied. Meanwhile, Robin was shivering trying to hold her tears. 'Jake will hate me now' she thought. Just as she was about to run away, I held her hand and whispered to her.

"No, you're not a monster Robin. Let me show that shithead what monster is,"

My hand began to glow white as I gather the energy from the surrounding. After a few second, the light disappeared and a Monster appears behind the shithead. The shithead and the spectator were busy hurling insults toward me and Robin, unaware of my hand glowing just now. Just as he was about to throw another stone, the Monster holds the teen's arm. At first, the teen was just ignoring it, thinking it was another one of his friends trying to stop him from throwing more stone. but when he looked at the hand, he realized that the hand look kind of odd. After a few second of thinking, he comes to the conclusion that this hand is not his friend hand but someone else.

This causes him to turn around and look at the owner of the hand. What greeted him was a creature smiling at him, this creature has 4 eyes and a bunch of sharp teeth. Not only that, but the skin colour of this creature was also a bright white, which further enhance the scary factor of the creature. To top all of that, the creature has no resemblance to any known creature that the teen learned from the library which includes Fishman, Minks and so on. This caused the teen to start screaming hysterically. The spectator becomes scared by the scream which caused them to panic and run back to their home. On the other hand, the teen had fallen unconscious with his mouth foaming from being scared too much.

While others were busy running away from the scene, Robin and I return to the library laughing at the shenanigan that I have caused. Once we reached the library, we continued with our chat, and where Robin becomes closer to me as she opened up more about her self. Not only that she also agreed to live at the same place as me, after saying that her caretaker is very abusive. This makes me angry and almost go to that bastard and torture him, but due to Robin saying its ok, I restrain my self.

This routine continues: wake up and have some breakfast, went to the cliff, went back to the library where we sometimes meet some bullied, have dinner and continue chatting, sleep. However, on the fourth day, since I have arrived at the island, a marine ship arrives at the island. Causing the whole island to be on high alert, because of many marine soldiers questioning the resident regarding the attack on the world noble. Not only that, but this marine ship also carried 2 admirals; Aokiji and Kizaru. From my observation, both admirals are stronger than me by half level. This makes me become more alert and want to train more.

In the beginning, Robin and I just ignore the commotion caused by the marine. However, the marine does not just interrogate the resident for information regarding the "catastrophe" that happened at Marie Geoise. They also bring a piece of news about a certain archaeologist, which turned out to be Robin mother(Robin overheard a marine talking to his colleague about her), missing and wanted by the World Government because of knowing the contents of Poneglyphs. This not only causes Robin to want to meet her mother, but it also causes other archaeologists to become alarmed especially Clover. And to top all that, Aokiji also warned the archaeologists that they should stop trying to learn the contents of the Poneglyphs. After 2 days of fruitless investigations, cuz Robin and I keep avoiding being asked by the marines, the marine leaves the island and continued their journey to another island.

The next day after the marine leaving the island, Robin and I told Clover about the wanted Archaeologist and our intention of finding Robin' mom. When Clover learned about the identity of the wanted archaeologist, he was shocked. But when he heard about our intention, he does not just continue being shocked, no, he also become aghast and angry at such a ridiculous idea. However, after showing a bit of my power, which I used to summon a clone of Aokiji and use him to scare Clover(He was so scared that his green cloverleaf style hair becomes white), Clover reluctantly agreed with our plan.

~Flashback end~

So here we are near the calm belt, with a small ship, similar to Going Merry, but with an engine created by yours truly. It took us a day to reach the calm belt. The reason why we are here is because of a "spy"( an info broker from a dark market that I asked "nicely") telling us that Robin's mom will pass through the calm belt to go to Ohara where she will meet a group of archaeologists. (I know what you guys are thinking, why do the spy know about the location of Robin Mother. Well, they said that this information is from the Marine since the Marine wanted to set an ambush but cancel it cuz of the Marie Geoise attacks.)

While waiting for the ship that carries Robin's mom, I went inside the ship to check out the room. This ship was given to us by Zadie, an archaeologist that always wear a cowboy hat. He said that this ship was given to him for free after he won a bet during his visit to a nearby Island. Not sure of what to do with the boat, so he instead gave it to us after he heard our plan from Clover despite being unwilling to let Robin go to the dangerous sea.

The ship isn't that big, its only have 5 room; Kitchen, Bathroom, 2 Bedrooms, and an empty Storage room. Both bedrooms have a single bed and a side table. Kitchen has a basic necessity such as a firewood stove. Similar to the kitchen, the bathroom also has a basic necessity such as a toilet. While I was busy checking out the room, Robin suddenly shouted. "Jake, I think the ship is here!!"

When I heard Robin's shout, I run out of the cabin and saw a familiar flag. After a few seconds of trying to recall my old memories, I realized that this ship belongs to the infamous Red hair pirate ship since it's flag looked kind of similar.

"Robin, wave a white flag,"

Robin complied and wave a white flag.

~Red hair pirate~

"Oi Shanks, There's a ship in front of us!!!"

"I saw it, Benn. Let's go meet the people on that ship and Don't shoot it Benn" said Shanks.

"Roger Captain"

As the ship getting closer and closer, the Red Hair pirate was quite surprised when they saw the people on the ship, On the ship, there are 2 people; a girl that looks like Olivia, the former Roger pirate archaeologist, and the other one is just a boy.

"what are you doing here?" said Shanks

~Back to Our Uber Hero~

"We are waiting for this girl mother, Nico Olivia," I replied back

Just after I said that, a woman appears behind shanks.

"ROBIN!!"

"Mo..Mommy!!"

Robin ran toward the woman with an excited and happy expression, ignoring everyone else. The woman too runs toward Robin with a similar expression. While both, mother and daughter, are having a reunion, Shanks walk toward me with his signature smile.

"So kid, what are doing here?" he asked

"Are you deaf oldman, I said I was here to help Robin,"

"O-Oldman..."

"Hahahah" Benn and Lucky Roux both laugh at their captain

"Oh yeah, aren't you the member of Gold Roger pirate?"

"Wait how do you know that?" he looked at me warily

"I once heard from the adult at the island near here that the Gold Roger pirate have 2 members that looked funny, one was a boy with red hair, and the other has a red nose,"

"Captain, The marine is here!" Benn warned his captain.

"We'll talk later," Shanks unsheath his sword and then fight the marine.

Despite being young, Shanks knows his way when using a sword. I mean, look at him, dancing with his sword while they were fighting (3 pirates vs 20 plus marine BTW). With them fighting most of the marine, I went to Robin's side and help her and her mother fight... well not really since most marine is just the bottom feeder of marine. One of the marines did try to stab me but failed. Instead, the marine got thrown out of the ship, courtesy of yours truly. After a while, the fight eventually settled down with no casualty, all marine just falls unconscious. Lucky roux then tied all of the marines on their ship's(marine) mast and let their ship go deeper into the West Blue.

After the fight ended, Shanks and his 2 crew invite Robin, her mom and me to his ship where we talked. To be honest, most of the talked is just about the boring introduction and so on(Did you know that Robin's mom is a member of the Roger crew. well I don't). Shanks did ask about how we got here. I just told them that we follow the wind. All of them, including Robin mom, gave me the suspicious look. I just shrugged at them. Seeing that I ignore their suspicion, they too shrugged. The talk then continues until it was almost night. Seeing that it is almost night I suggest that we should go to a nearby island so we can have a proper rest and talk. To which they agreed to my suggestion.
