Circumstances

I woke up in my bed, wondering what happened why I'm in my bed again. Ahhh! I fall asleep in the car, right! I really should change this habit of mine how am I gonna do, if Bennie is not around me.

I get out of my bed, after cleaning it up I take a quick shower. I change into purple plane t-shirt and paired it into black bonito shorts.

When I open the door, I heard the noises in the kitchen. I found Bennie so busy assisting his father cooking for lunch. I offer a hand but they don't let me help them so I sit silently in my seat in the dining table instead, then just keep watching them. They look so adorable that I can't help my self and voice out my thoughts. My smile widen when they both turn there heads towards me, but they don't say anything though. Nick go on with his cooking, while Bennie give me a wink with a toothy smile, and then continue on what he is slicing.

Upon checking that, they are ready to serve the foods, I help to prepare the plates, bowls, utensils and water glasses. Then I remember the leftover in breakfast, I can't get enough of it. I also prepared the Chardonnay white wine and three wine glasses.

I once again enjoyed the mouth watering meal, and savor every taste of it, and I sealed it with the last drop of wine in my glass. Just as I am about to finish they are also done eating so I quickly pick up all the empty dishes and before they could say anything I stop them to do the dishes, it's my turn now. They clean up the table and cover the foods then they sit down in the sala drinking canned beer.

After I'm done with the kitchen, I approach them and ask permission if I can use the computer in the study for the main time, Bennie offer his laptop but I declined since the files I'm going to pull up is save in the computer, and the printer is also there.

I wait first for Nick to stand up cause his things is inside. He go in first and set a side temporary his things, to give space for me to be able to use the computer. He gesture to me that its fine to use it now, and then he go outside back to the sala.

I started making my application and resume, cause I will be starting to look for a job. For the main time, I'm really not sure yet, if where I'm going to apply but as much as possible I would like to do what I love which is related to my course. I also check the company's, that where looking for a position in Visual & Graphic Designer. I take notes of those companies and make a resumes each of it with there company name and address. After I rechecked if there something to be added or not. I decided to print it out with two copies each, then I save it in my USB just in case for emergency back up.

I slip it all in inside the envelope and plan to bring in my room, I still need to buy some extra folders and paper pins. I recheck if I still need anything from the study. After I confirm I'm good to go, I go out and close the door.

I was about to informed Nick that I'm done but I saw them both sleeping in the sala. I tiptoed making sure not making any sound and turn of the TV, I watch them both if I wake them but they're not, so I took two blankets and cover them up. I close the sliding door in the balcony and turn on the AC.

In the table I see that they emptied twelve can's of beer, I see why they where knock out. Good to know they both don't have a bad habit when drunk, though I already know Bennie is a good drinker, he knows where his limit. I never seen him wasted after drinking. As for Nick he can also handle his liquor, thanks God. I smiled and I don't bother to touch those cans yet, afraid to make a noise, so I tiptoed back to my room and even slowly closing the door.

I set a side the envelope in my bedside table and pick up my book that I read almost halfway. I continue reading it while drinking the beer that I pick up a while ago, which I forgot cause I'm so focus on my papers. I already felt the bitter taste of it since it's no longer cold, but I don't want to go outside to pick up a new one in the fridge, so I just bare with it.

It's already 4pm when I finish the book. I place the book in the mini book shelf in my side table and I stand up.

I go out and slowly open and closing the door, thinking they might still be sleeping, since it's still so silent. But when I check the sala it's already cleaned and the blankets where already folded. They might be in there room.

Since I planned to buy my necessities, I will go buy along groceries then. So I check the stocks in the kitchen. I listed all the stocks that is running out in my phone and I go back in my room to freshen up a little. After I brush my teeth and wash my face, I just put a light make up (press powder, lipstick and fix my eyebrows) then I look for a sling pouch to put my money and phone in. I also recheck what are my other needs to make sure I will not miss anything.

When I walk outside my door, I ran with Nick whom just got finished showering. He ask me where I'm leading, after he saw the sling pouch I'm wearing.

"I'm going to buy something and some groceries.. do you have something in mind that you want to buy, I'll add it on my list.." my response to his question.

He look like thinking for something then look at me again.

"I can't tell for now, but you know what!, how about I'll go with you instead, so I could see what should I buy, since it also sounds that you'll be buying a lot, I could lend a hand.." he suggested instead.

"Sure should we invite Bennie also?.." I answered while I gesture my index finger pointing Bennie's door.

"I check him out before I take a shower, he continue sleeping in his room.. just let him be for now, he actually drink a lot of beer more than I do, those cans of beer I only finish three.. " he explained.

"Haul!!.. really!,.. then just the two of us then, I'll just live a note, to let him know.." my quick response.

I go back in my room to get the sticky note, to stick it on his door where he could easily read the message and while I'm on it, Nick also go get ready.

We borrowed Bennie's car then Nick use the GPS to lead the way to the grocery department, since he's not so familiar yet of the streets.

We arrive in the 501 Gateway Dr, and he park the car in the Belt Parkway at Erskine Avenue. So we step outside in the car and walk our way to get inside the Gateway Center Mall. We proceed into the supermarket since our main purpose is there.

Nick pick up the big cart that we pass by, and just silently following me around. Time to time his checking some goods that we are passing by while where rooming around to pick up all in my checklist. When I'm almost finish the list, I ask him if his going to buy something.

"It's already in the cart.." he said and smiled, then pointed the groceries in the cart.

I check it out, and I realize half on it is not on the list. The funny thing is, it's all kitchen stocks. I now, really wondering if he mistakenly choose a wrong career, he should had choose to be a chef instead.

"You do, really love cooking I guess.." I commented and I laugh at him, which he also laugh with a nod, somehow where getting at ease to each other now.

After we confirm we got all we need, we go paid it out. But instead of me paying the list of groceries, he stop me and use his debit card to pay instead.

I help him transfer the groceries inside the car in the backseat, then I set aside the cart before I hop in the passenger seat. He already seated in the driver's area when I hop in. I'm buckling my seatbelt, but somehow it's stock, so I check it out why it can't be pulled out. Then suddenly Nick's hand appeared to pull out the seatbelt for me, and since I was startled I turn my head to face him which is a wrong move at that moment.

Our lips meet.
