I teleported back to my house, "so how did the press meet go, oh wait I have a call to attend." said my mother, I nodded and hugged her "Let's go to India, you don't have to pack anything. We will buy everything there." I said . "but son my work needs me there and I can't take leave like this" said my father. I blew a raspberry "Come on Father we don't have time for this," I said, he shrugged "Whatever you say, son".

I went to my mom, she was on the call with someone so I waited. After the call she looked at me "Who were you talking to Mother" I asked, "It was a client of mine who wished to talk to me about his grandchild's quirk. I told him to wait for a few days." She said, "Oh god you have already started to sell me, I even hugged you." I said aloud, my mother smirked "What are you talking he is one of my clients and he insisted on that. Well now let's go to the tournament you are talking about.", it's not hard to believe that even my mother doesn't know about the Tournament.

I opened a portal, and my parents stepped in. All of us were teleported to my school where the others were waiting. "how did the Press meet go" asked Timothy "It wasn't live" I asked in doubt. I thought it was a live telecast. "I saw it live" said Dale from IIG [international information gathering] "he is going to face a lot of problems". I just snorted "We don't have time for this, who are all coming with me". "that would be Katie, Tony and me," said Edward Stark. I nodded "So no one else is coming. Timothy, Dale and Cassie you are all going to stay here and watch the match." I asked. Timothy and Dale nodded "Cassie is not feeling well." He said. "ok then wait here I will get my friend as well" I went to the girl's dorm and got Momo. "I saw the UA festival, you almost killed that guy", "I wasn't planning-" I said "ok times up, we only one hour left before the event begins. We can talk about this at a later date." As Timothy said both Tony and Katie came.

I opened a portal, and my parents, Momo, Tony, Katie and finally Edward Stark all entered the portal. I focused to teleport to Delhi, close to the stadium but instead, we arrived in the centre of the stage. "why don't you practice this thing more often " said Edward Stark looking at the way I screwed up. But the good thing was for some reason the number of people sitting there was meagre, only a few people were sitting and that too mostly had a camera like the one owned by the press. All seven of us went to the entry gate in the corner and walked to our assigned rooms.

"your match is the third one, so we have some time to analyse our opponent. Even though you have multiple quirks, that doesn't mean that we can be careless." Said Mr. Stark. I shrugged "It's really boring, I don't even want to see the first two matches" I replied and went to my room. My mom and dad were researching the best places to visit in India while Momo was spending her time reading.

After about an hour someone knocked on the door. It was Katie. "hey can I talk with you Kaneki" I looked at my phone and there were only 30 minutes before the challenge. I invited her inside my room "What do you want to talk about, there are only 30 minutes left before we have to attend the event" I asked sitting in my bed. "well my sister is getting worse every day, I was just checking whether you have found a cure." She replied. I looked at her "You see the cure is in a place called Vormir. Give me some time alright after the whole IQC and president's ceremony I will go and get the cure myself. Besides it's only been like a day since I last met her." I said assuring her. She became a little upset "How much longer though, Cassie has been vomiting blood. I don't think she has much time". "It will take at least a month or two, just keep her somewhere safe. Ask her not to participate in any hero activity. Now let's go to the event alright." I calmed her.

We both went to the participant room where Tony was waiting. "hey buddy, I've gotten numbers on your opponents. Wanna have a look at it" asked Tony. "where are the others?" I said. "they are in the stadium, they aren't allowed in here. only Katie and I are allowed to aid you." He said handing the Tablet to Katie. I shook my head "I don't need numbers, I can handle them all by myself" I said. They both looked at each other and sighed "Arrogance may be your downfall" he said. "I get it let's look at the match shall we." I replied and stared at the walkie-talkie. "contestants please come to the stage" said the walkie-talkie. I said goodbye to both of them and walked to the stage.

The number of people watching this one was small or the stadium was just too big, I don't know which one is correct but I waved at the loosely packed crowd. It seems that you're supposed to show your domination here because all the other contestants just gave a weird eye to me. I looked at the contestants one by one.

The first one was a monk with a bead chain in his right hand and he was super black. The second one was a tan girl, with creamy brown skin and had weird religious tattoos all around her neck. The third one was a sumo wrestler. The fourth one was a cyborg-like entity, it looked like an angel a metal angel. The fifth is a woman with red hair and tight wears, finally, we have yours truly.
