I scrolled through my news feed and read a couple of them here and there. I should say the president took the torch and ran with it. he used all his resources to publish the news in 4k. right now I am having my morning breakfast in the cafeteria. I am currently being watched by everyone in the same as some sort of Alien. My mother scolded me for showing off when I could have just used teleportation, but still, she was proud of my achievement.

"Hi, my name is Lily," I raised my head to find a redhead girl standing before me with her breakfast. "Lily is a nice name, do you want something" I asked, I knew she was from my class but I didn't know why she was talking to me. "I am your classmate, so chill. " she said and sat beside me. "how did you rescue the number one hero? It is a question already answered by the media. I want to know why you must rescue the hero" she asked. I nodded "That's a nice question. Well, you see I am the only person who can open a portal to that specific spot making me more useful. I guess that answers your question" She nodded absent-mindedly, "I can't believe that in the first year, you have garnered such huge attention. It will be easy for you going forward" she sighed.

I bobbed my head "Now that you have asked about me, can I ask something about our classmate.". she quickly became attentive "Just ask me, I have all the information about our classmates." I smiled "What happened to the kid Hada from our class. I know he was found dead. I don't know what followed next.". she had a grim expression "oh well, he was killed by someone. the authorities of this school think this is a random attack and are trying their best. Nothing else is known about the attack as of now." She said slurping her cereal. "I see so the rhino kid is a victim of a random attack. But even if it's a random attack, it happened inside the premises right? I am sure that the media must have got wind of it." I said, she nodded "its true, but in this academy, everything that happens is controlled by the high authority. namely Howard Stark the dean of this establishment. Wait now that we are on the topic, I just remembered something" She paused and took a letter from her pocket. "here the dean gave me this and told me to give it to you." She gave me the letter and stood up . "why would he give me this letter out of nowhere" I asked for which she shrugged "you tell me " she walked away.

I opened the letter and read it for a few minutes. It seems that the dean wants to have a word with me. Which is normal, now that I am famous and all. I finished my breakfast and headed over to the Research lab as specified in the letter. The lab was a huge white lab with robots lying around here and there. Many people were walking left and right taking notes on their iPads, I went to the admin division of the lab to find the dean Howard Stark giving lectures.

"that's how we travel through quantum tunnel, this is just a theory but we have discovered a new particle called the pimp particle which can aid. we presume that." He said throwing an apple at the student next to him. He noticed me "OK, class today will be dismissed early " he said and walked towards me. I corrected my dress and looked presentable to him. "hello Kaneki, I thought you would be late after the math class at least" he said, I smiled at him. "Lily gave me a letter written by you, asking for my audience" I said in a humble tone, "it's a good thing that the fame didn't cloud your thoughts. It's true that I called you". I nodded "Is there something you want my help with.". he nodded "Yes, but before that I need you to sit down and have a cup of coffee with me. " he said and looked at the lady at the desk "two normal?" he said. The lady nodded and left. Howard walked near me and signalled me to walk with him, I obliged. He started to show all his inventions one by one and the time went and the coffee we were holding emptied. "huh… it's really soothing to drink anything warm in a cold evening don't you think" he said showing the class to me. I nodded "You are one hundred percent right" I said in a calm voice.

"Now that our coffees are savoured, let's talk about the main point of the day." He said and placed the coffee mug on the tabletop. I observed him and did the same. "I agree with you, sir. what is it that you need my help with" I said like a king. he chuckled "Well the thing is we found an ancient artefact which I want you to look at and give me your opinion on that. The artefact was found in the ancient ruins of Egypt. I saw the way you repaired the alien space ship and we also think that this technology may belong to an ancient alien civilization.". I laughed "You believe in those things " I said, nodding "Not until you went to a different planet and got in contact with a different species ." he remarked. I squinted my eyes "alrighty then what artefact do you want me to have a look at."
