After one year...
Alex flew above the sea, heading towards Arcadia. Soon, he spotted a group of people roaming on the deck and landed in the center.
Witnessing Alex's descent, the onlookers exclaimed, "Who is that?" and "Did he just fly?"
"Someone summon the leaders," one of them ordered.
While the crowd murmured and kept their distance, the ship's door swung open, and Alice ran towards Alex, embracing him.
"Did you miss me?" Alice asked.
"Yes, I missed you very much," Alex replied, their embrace ending as others observed them.
"Alex, it seems you've completed your mission," Carlos said, joining Alice.
"Alex, long time no see," Jill greeted, her life has changed because of Alex's intervention.
"You too, Jill. It's good to see that you're safe," Alex responded.
Luna, who arrived with Carlos and Jill, caught Alex's attention, prompting him to approach her.
"Luna, I missed you," Alex said, ruffling her hair.
"Me too, brother," Luna replied.
"I have something important to share with all of you. Call Claire," Alex instructed.
In a meeting room, Alice, Alex, Carlos, Jill, Claire, and Luna gathered around a round table.
"Alex, what do you want to tell us?" Claire inquired.
"What are your thoughts on how the T-virus spread?" Alex asked.
"Isn't it because of an accident in the Hive?" Alice responded.
"No, Luna, what are your thoughts on this?" Alex questioned.
"It aligns with what Alice said. My data also shows that the virus leaked accidentally," Luna replied.
"It seems none of you know the true culprit in the virus incident," Alex stated.
"What are you trying to say, Alex?" Alice said.
"Had you ever thought about whether Umbrella planned this apocalypse from the very beginning? Having no intention of stopping until they eradicate humanity?"
"I attacked Umbrella HQ and got some shocking information," Alex revealed.
"Umbrella had planned this 17 months before the Raccoon City incident."
"They released the T-virus."
"Their intention was for humanity to perish, allowing them to start anew amidst the corpses."
"They believed they could lead Earth into a new era."
"All of this was part of their plan."
"The Umbrella employees we encountered were all clones. The real people are in hiding."
"The real ones are in a state of deep sleep, secured in a safe location."
"So, you mean to say they released the T-virus?!" Claire said.
"They orchestrated this entire apocalypse," Alex confirmed.
"Those bastards caused all of this! Fuck Umbrella!" Claire exclaimed.
"What can you expect from Umbrella?" Carlos remarked.
"They only think about themselves and believe they are always right," he continued.
"Yes, what can we expect from such a selfish organization?" Alex agreed.
"Why did they do this?" Luna inquired.
"They believed the world was on the brink of destruction because of human wars and overpopulation," Alex explained.
"As the world teetered on the edge of annihilation," he continued, "they thought they would destroy it and build a new one."
"They selected a few people to enter into a deep sleep, intending to rebuild the world with them," Alex further revealed.
"They are a bunch of hypocrites," Luna stated.
"They have no right to decide the future of others," Claire asserted.
"Yes, who are they to claim that the world's destined for destruction?" Alex said.
"What can you expect from Umbrella?" Carlos reiterated.
"So, how do they plan to reclaim Earth from the undead?" Luna asked.
"They possess an Airborne Anti-virus, which they developed alongside the T-virus," Alex explained.
"They will release it after humanity's wiped out."
"This anti-virus will kill any creature infected with the T-virus," he continued.
"Does this mean Alice will also die?" Jill asked.
"There is also the T-virus in her body," Jill added.
"No, the Anti-virus will only target the T-virus and will not harm any living cells," Alex reassured.
"So, Alice will not die?"
"So, where is the location of this Anti-virus?"
"The place where all of this started," Alice replied.
"Hive," she stated.
"Yes, we are going to attack Hive and deal with Umbrella."
"When are we going to attack?" Luna asked.
"Before launching the attack, we need to contact the Red Queen," Alex suggested.
"Isn't she dead?" Alice questioned.
"No, she is operational, and all Hive operations are under her control," Alex explained.
"Luna, try to establish contact with her."
"Okay."
"I believe she can assist us."
"Why? Isn't she created by Umbrella?"
"Yes, but not everyone agreed with this plan," Alex replied.
"Some individuals opposed it."
"Who are they?"
"Alicia Marcus. She owns half of Umbrella."
"Alicia Marcus. She opposed the idea, but the company didn't listen," Alex explained.
"I think she has some connection with Alice," Jill remarked.
"Alice, do you know her?" she asked.
"No, I don't know anyone by that name, and I also don't have any childhood memories," Alice responded.
"Why do you think she's related to Alice?" Carlos said.
"They have a similar appearance, but she looks older than our Alice," Jill explained.
After concluding the meeting, Alex announced, "All of you, prepare to go to Hive."
"We are putting an end to this never-ending undead nightmare."
"Yes," the group agreed.
