Umbrella Underground Laboratory
"Doctor, the experiment's finished," the scientist reported.
"Take the blood samples and dispose of the body outside," Isaac commanded.
"Sir, we have injected the immune cells from Project Alex into the zombie that was injected with Alice's blood," a man in a white coat informed.
"Show me the footage," Isaac requested.
The screen in front of him lit up, showing an undead being injected with a syringe.
"No abnormalities found, sir," the scientist reported.
"Continue to observe."
After 2 hours...
"Sir, the body changed from its human state," the scientist reported.
"But the intelligence and basic instincts did not improve," the scientist added.
"Only the physical condition changed; it did not affect the brain."
"Inject the Project Alex blood into that body," Isaac ordered.
"But before that, collect a blood sample," Isaac instructed.
"No abnormalities found after the injection," the scientist reported.
Soon, the body showed signs of swelling, and blood started coming out of its eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. The test subject died.
"Sir, the test subject died. Both the T-virus and the blood were not compatible, causing the body to swell and die," the scientist explained.
"Dispose of the body," Isaac commanded.
"Doctor, there is a meeting for you to attend," an assistant informed.
Walking through the corridors, Isaac made his way to the
Meeting Room
"Sorry, gentlemen, for being late. I was focused on my research," Isaac said with a smile.
"How good of the Science Division to join us," Chairman Wesker commented.
"On the biohazard incident, what does the Science Division have to report?" Wesker inquired.
"Well, we now know that the undead can survive with no need for food, and their hunger for flesh is just a basic instinct," Isaac reported.
"My research shows they can remain active for decades," Isaac continued.
"Do we have to be trapped underground for decades?" all the board members asked with gloomy faces.
"What is the news on Project Alice and Alex?" Wesker asked.
"Using antibodies from Alice's blood, we can reverse the T-virus and give them intelligence, while still controlling their basic instincts," Isaac explained.
"Are you confident you can domesticate them?" Wesker questioned.
"They are animals; we can train and control them," Isaac reassured.
"What about Project Alex?" Wesker inquired.
"His blood can enhance human strength and improve the immune system. It's a perfect vaccine for a body that can withstand all diseases," Isaac answered.
"But it will not have any effect on the undead, and the results show the bodies will die," Isaac admitted.
"So you don't have any results, and we are wasting away underground?" Wesker criticized.
"I am using clone genetics for my research, and without the original test subject, it is difficult," Isaac defended.
"Project Alice, Alex, and the domestication of the undead are the highest priority. I need results within a week." Wesker emphasized.
"The experiments may not yield satisfactory results," Isaac warned.
"Then we should appoint someone capable in your place to achieve the desired results. Continue your research, Doctor," Wesker said.
"I adjourn this meeting," Wesker announced.
Isaac left the room and went to his office.
"Search for Project Alex," Isaac commanded.
"Results not found," the White Queen displayed.
"Order the soldiers to form a search team and gather information about their whereabouts from their previous locations," Isaac instructed.
"Doctor, the clone is ready for another experiment," an assistant informed.
"Inject the blood from the previous test subject," Isaac ordered.
"Okay, sir."
"Injected, and no abnormalities observed," the assistant reported.
"Sir, the T-virus has begun attacking the body," the assistant updated.
After 1 hour...
Soon, the objects around the room started floating.
"Sir, the experiment is a success," the assistant declared.
"The test subject has the same powers as Project Alex."
But soon, the body started to swell like the previous test subject, and it died.
Seeing this, Isaac had a sadistic smile.
"Collect his blood sample and start cloning using his blood."
"Soon, I will unravel your secrets, Alex," Isaac said, looking at a photo of Alex on the screen.
But what he didn't know was that Alex was already on the way to deal with him.
