The three looked at each other and instantly came into a tacit agreement; charge together. The fastest of all was Zeddy. He was a lightning elementalist and was of the first grade. He was not as fast as Alaric though. Alaric looked at the incoming guy. In his eyes, he was slow. Maybe only he could say that because the others could not keep up with his movement. He appeared to go in a curve-like manner and was heading to his right side.
Next was Karl in terms of speed. He was a water elementalists and of the first grade. He appeared to be heading to the left side.
Lastly was Matthew who was charging directly. He was quite slower than the rest but his attack appeared to most likely be the most effective. He was a darkness elementalist of the First Grade.
Everyone watched as the three fist attacks reached Alaric who was still not moving. Maybe he had resigned to his fate when faced with true power.
Infront of everyone's eyes, Alaric disappeared when the attacks were an inch away from his face. Each had laced their attacks with their elements to make it more effective.
When they saw Alaric disappear, they just could not let their fists bump into each other's and had to withdraw. They knew the consequences of forcefully taking back an attack but it would be worse if they bumped into each other.
They all withdrew their attacks and faced the backlash. One could see the blood that later appeared at the corner of their mouth. They stared around but they did not see Alaric. 'Did he just flee?' Everyone thought.
"I must say, that was thrilling," Alaric said and appeared on the same spot. He had not moved an inch. Everyone thought of the same thing, array fighter. This was one of the annoying part about fightning array masters.
Alaric had taken a gamble on whether they would withdraw their attack or not. He smiled when he saw the backlash and under their distraction he landed an attack on Matthew.
People saw Matthew in the air as he spluttered a mouthful of blood and landed next to the unconscious James. He too fell unconscious.
"I just can't seem to minimize my strength properly. Woe unto you my test subjects," Alaric said looking at his fist as he prepared to attack the remaining duo but they had just realized one thing, they could not beat him in close hand combat.
They took steps.back and switched to wide range attacks.
"Urgh, just trying to make the battle last longer, I see," Alaric spoke as he dodged an incoming lightning attack.
Just where he thought of landing did Karl land his attack. A water sword aiming at his chest.
"Good coordinations, I give you that, but its gonna take a lot than that to land an attack on me," Alaric spoke as he counter attacked with a lightning strike dissipating the water sword.
The two saw they had no chance and retreated. They did what they thought they should have done long ago. It was Zeddy who gave orders.
"Charge, and maintain your distance from him," Zeddy said and the group of twenty surrounded Alaric. Everyone knew that he was now dead.
The first step when it came to numbers disadvantage was intimidation. Since it had gotten to that, why not release his aura. That would surely scare them. The group of twenty froze and the crowd gasped wondering where that aura was coming from.
No matter your numbers, it was going to take more than 50 to defeat someone of the middle stages when you were in the second stage. Everyone looked at Alaric who was smiling at their confused expression.
"Did you cower and asked for help coward," Karl spoke still looking from side to side for the source of the aura.
"Look again, I didn't think that you all would be that scared to think properly," Alaric said.
Everyone looked around confused but finally, their gaze landed on Alaric. After a lot of contemplation, they came into the same conclusion. He was the source of the aura...
No wonder he said he had minimized his strength. He was not even a body cultivator. His body was in the middle stages. They all knew they stood no chance if he went all out.
" I give you dogs only one chance to flee with your tails between your legs or you will leave this place unconscious or dead. I don't fear the consequence of killing street dogs like you," Alaric said.
The twenty cowered. Everyone heard what he said. If they really left, it would mean accepting the fact that they were dogs. If they stayed, it would mean certain death. Or permanent damage.
They were too young to have their future impaired. Everyone looked at who he called street dogs and they just shook their heads. These were mayors' sons...
"You are not ready for what we will do to you, retreat boys," Zeddy spoke and his gang retreated. He led the way and just like that, the six dogs fleed. Tails between their legs.
"You are not ready for the consequences, I will retreat for now but don't you dare think that its over," Karl said and called his gang who followed him behind. All heading to the same direction. The dorms.
" I wonder who will carry your leaders if I break you all," Alaric said and the remaining ten hurried to their masters and fleed. They actually ran. He then walked back to his friends.
"You scare me," Aurora spoke when Alaric reached them. It was then Alaric concealed his aura.
"You can't be in the middle stages right? That would be too biased of the heavens!" Rey almost shouted.
They were already leaving heading the stadium. They had to count and share their gains.
" Am just in the second stage but my strength can help me defeat a third stage with ease. Only a fourth stage can be problem but also I might win," Alaric spoke. They were already far from everyone's hearing capabilty.
" You scared us though," Rey spoke. He was not ready to believe he was that far behind.
" You are a body cultivator right?" Aurora asked.
" I couldn't say that because all I have done was work out since I was five," Alaric replied. The two almost jaw dropped.
What were thay doing at that age. They were probably just being doted by their parents. They could not even ready clearly. And here was Alaric who was working out at that age. They really could not catch up with him. Maybe in the next life.
And here he was saying that he was not a body cultivator.
"Liar!" They both blurted out.
"What did I do?" Alaric asked in despair. His friends were trying to pick on him.
Aurora just moved from his right and went to the left of Rey and the two started speaking to each other completely ignoring him. Alaric tried to join their dialogue but he was completely ignored. He just did not know what he had done to them.

James woke up laying on his bed. He was silent for a while but the memories of what happened flooded inside him and he sat up fast.
He looked around and found his gang kneeling. They had their heads lowered in shame.
"Did we win?" James asked but he was met by silence.
"We lost," one guy spoke his voice slightly fearful.
James felt like burning his men. If they lost, it could only mean they fled. Infront of everyone they fled! How could he stand his head high anymore?
"Simon, what happened?" James asked. Simon was the guy standing at 6'2.
Someone could hear the slap that rang the entire room. Angry was not the word James felt at the moment. His heart burned and his blood boiled. They were dogs in everyone's eyes at the moment.
"We have to clear our names," James started, " I want you to investigate them and find every detail about them. Find out how they came to know Aurora! Simon you are in charge!" James shouted and stood from his bed.
" Don't appear in front of me without any news, you know where to find me," James said and left.

Matthew woke up and his reaction was the same as James's. When he recalled what happened, he sat up and looked at his men who were kneeling with their heads down.
" What happened?" He asked.
Matthew stood up angrily and started stepping on his men.
" Fools! You desrve to have your limbs broken to teach you a lesson!" Matthew stomped on them fow few minutes until his anger died down.
" I need you to investigate every detail about them. Find out how they came to be with Aurora. I don't need you in my sight until you have every detail I need. Curtis you are in charge!" Matthew said and sent his men away.
He lay on bed his hand on his head. He had to do his revenge.

Karl sat on a chair and his men sat on the floor in his room. He seemed to be contemplating and after a while he came into conclusion.
"Jesee, I need every detail about the two guys. I need to know when they met Aurora and how. Also find out what they do and their rooms. We will be getting our revenge soon," he said and his men stood.
"Also don't show up without any important information," Karl said and swallowed his anger. He was the one who told his gang to leave so he could not lash out on them. Could he?
***
Zeddy was too in a similar condition as Karl. He could not beat his gang up for he was the one who gave the retreat order.
"We must get your revenge my lord," a guy spoke. He was the one with spiky red hair who spoke during the first confrontation with Alaric. The others nodded in agreement. It seemed like Zeddy had a good relationship with his men.
"How do you plan on doing so, Labbel?" Zeddy asked and the guy dropped his head in shame. They were sitting on the floor while Zeddy sat on the chair in his room.
" Well here is what we will do," Zeddy spoke and his men's eyes brightened.
"I need you to find every detail of the guys and their relationship with Aurora. Also find out how long they have been with her and what they do daily. Also, find out about their background," Zeddy spoke.
"We wont disappoint our young master again, boys lets roll," Labbel said and left followed by the rest.
Zeddy was left in deep thoughts.
"Aurora, Aurora, do you know who will marry you in the future? Its already been agreed that I will... Act as tough as you want but one day you will bend under my whim," Zeddy spoke with a big smile...
