S.O.S. Wife Kidnapped!

Jeff gazed at his wife's peaceful, sleeping face, taking in every detail to store in his memory.

The soft moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on her features, adding to the ethereal beauty of the moment.

Overwhelmed by his love for her, he moved closer and sat by the bed, delicately running his fingers over her serene, angelic face, feeling grateful for the presence of such a precious person in his life.

However, that was not enough; he then kissed her red lips lightly so as not to wake her up.

After spending a few moments lingering by her side, he slowly and reluctantly got to his feet and quietly left the room.

Little did he know that Ann, whom he longed for, was fast asleep, completely unaware that he had been there with her.

When Jeff walked out of the Master Bedroom, he ran into Lea, who had just finished cooking, without noticing her until she spoke.

"Are you going to stay for Lunch? Is Ann awake or still napping?" She asked calmly.

"No, I can't stay. I have a lot on my plate right now, and Ann is still resting. Let her be," Jeff replied, deep in thought, as he was about to say something but was interrupted by Lea.

"CEO Go, if you don't mind, I have a favor to ask you?" Lea requested, her expression serious as she locked eyes with him.

"Oops! I just realized I only have a minute left, so if you could please make it quick, I'd really appreciate it," Jeff said, gazing at her with curiosity.

"Ann and I have been there for each other through challenging times and joyful moments, and our bond goes beyond friendship; it's a connection that feels like we are more than just friends, almost like sisters. If you ever do anything to cause her any kind of pain or harm, I want you to know that there will be consequences.- You better wish you were never born; I know you are very powerful and all, but it only takes one bullet to kill a person, if you know what I mean?"

As she stood in front of Jeff, she fixed her unblinking gaze on his face, making it clear that she meant business as she delivered her warning.

"Lea, you don't mind me calling you that, right?" Jeff said with a warm and disarming half-smile gently resting on his handsome face, his soft gaze meeting hers.

As much as she tried to hide it, she couldn't help but smile while thinking, "Not at all! Shoot, you can call me sweetheart for all I care." Her smirk widened as she entertained the thought.

"Rest assured that not in this life or the next life will I ever make Ann cry. I will never hurt her intentionally or otherwise. The only time she will ever cry because of me, if it ever happens, is because I already left this world. But I will still wait for her in the afterlife to continue making her happy. Does my answer satisfy you?" He said it with sadness in his eyes, which made Lea's heartache for her friend.

"Now, it's my turn to ask for a favor. This is really crucial, and I truly need your cooperation for this to work. Will you please help me?" He clasped his hands together in a pleading gesture, emphasizing the urgency of his request.

Lea stood there in utter disbelief, her jaw dropping open as she struggled to find the right words to respond.

She couldn't believe that this wealthy, conceited, and undeniably good-looking man was standing in front of her, practically begging for her help. It was as if he had transformed into a desperate child, pleading with his mother for a treat.

The absurdity of the situation struck her, and she couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sheer madness of it all. The thought of it was enough to send her reeling.

"Sure! What do I have to lose?" she replied with a warm smile.

As he finished giving Lea the detailed instructions, he turned to leave but suddenly halted as a memory struck him.

He turned around, looking back at Lea, and put his finger on his lips and did...- '"Shss! Don't make a sound. Don't let Ann know I came," he whispered urgently, looking around to make sure no one was watching. With a quick nod, he turned around and quietly slipped away into the night.

Meanwhile, Ann finally woke up from her nap. She got up and went to take a shower to freshen herself up. While taking a shower, she remembered that she needed to call Jeff. 'They should be done by now. It has been a while since he left.' She thought.

Ann went to the dressing table, picked up her phone, and speed-dialed #1 on the list.

*Ring-ring-ring* After a while, a voice recording was picked up. "You have reached... Leave a message after the beep." Ann was baffled, unsure of what to think. 'Hmmm, where could he be?'

Since she couldn't get a hold of Jeff, she decided to look for Ronald and ask him if he knew anything.

However, there was no Ronald around or Lea. 'Now what?'

Ann walked towards Lea's room, *knock knock* "Are you there, Lea?" she asked while opening the door at the same time. What she was Lea was taking a nap and in deep slumber. She did not hear Ann knocking and was totally out.

Ann went towards the bed to try to wake her friend. " Lea…" Ann shook her legs, but she didn't even move.

"Lea… wake up! I need to talk to you," Ann said, half whispering, for she didn't want to startle Lea. However, when Lea still didn't move, she needed to do what she needed to do.

"LEA! WAKE UP!" Ann was shaking her while she was in the process.

"WHAT THE HECK! "Wait, is the house really on fire? What's happening? Ann, seriously, what's going on with you? The last time someone pulled a stunt like this, they ended up in the hospital, you know?" Lea said half-jokingly, as she peered at her friend with one eye open and the other squinting.

"Hey, we really need to have a serious conversation. I could use your advice, and I believe it's finally time for me to open up and share everything with you. Come on, get up! I'll be in the kitchen waiting for you; I'm famished," Ann declared as she exited the room, leading the way to the kitchen, with Lea trailing close behind.

Jeff, I really need you to call me right away. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and could really use your support. Please, call me.

Ann walked slowly to the kitchen, her thoughts turning toward the day ahead. As she moved through the familiar space, she found herself silently offering a prayer, seeking guidance and strength for the hours to come.

Ann sat on the sofa, hesitating whether she should contact her husband. "Should I text him?" she pondered. A feeling of longing and hope filled her as she carefully considered her next move.

After a moment of contemplation, she retrieved her phone from her pocket, the screen illuminating her face. Determined, she began crafting a heartfelt message, hoping to elicit a response from her beloved husband.

[ S.O.S. WIFE BEING KIDNAPPED! COME TO THE RESCUE!] All in capital letters, then hit send...

Ann slyly smiled to herself as she contemplated the impact of the message she had just sent.

She couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that she had likely piqued someone's interest without them realizing it.
