"Lust filled eyes"

As everyone arrived, Mr Su notified his father to start the banquet. The Party started as old man Su went on stage to give the speech.

"Bonsoir"*

Old man Su raised his wine glass, gaining everybody's attention as they stopped their chatter, turning their intention toward the platform.

"I, Su Chiyu express my gratitude to all of you for making time from your busy schedules and coming to celebrate my birthday. Your presence here, makes this old man's birthday special and enjoyable or else I would have slept by now after having tea with my son, and that is what I did on my birthday last year." he joked, making everybody laugh. As everybody knew, he didn't celebrate his birthday last year.

"As a person grows older, he tends to yearn for the closeness with his family and friends. Thus, your presence here makes this old man's heart fill with excitement. I hope you all have good time."

"Passe une Bonne soirée"*

As old man Su ended his speech, everybody raised their wine glass and took a sip, indicating start of the banquet.

Everyone scattered, forming groups of acquaintances and chatter filled the hall, making it livelier. Su family greeted and entertained guests with Old Man Su surrounded by his old business partners, talking energetically.

"Miss Lilian"

Han Li and Su Lan were standing in the corner of hall when a man wearing navy blue suit came in front of them. With his ash coloured hair and tall height he looked around 26-27 years old.

"Good evening, Miss Lilian" Asked Qi Chumian with gentle smile.

"Young master Qi" Han Li's eyes turned cold as she nodded. She has seen a lot of guys with gentle exterior, but behind their gentle smile is an equally darkened heart which is rotten to core with nothing, but selfishness. And this guy surely is one of them.

"You don't need to be so formal with me. We all are in the same circle of friends, just call me by my name" joked Qi Chumian, eyes curving into crescent. Narrowing his eyes, he looked at Han Li.

Being a model, he came to France for a fashion show. Having finished his work, he decided to play for few days. Last week when he visited Su family, he encountered Lilian at the entrance.

Upon asking around, turned out that she was from Han family. Although he was unaware about any other of their extended family member living in France but this young miss is the first cousin of Han eldest lady.

He was first shocked when he found out about her being from Han family. Although she is distantly related, just her being part of Han family was attractive to him. Moreover, such a beautiful face and temperament, with a body like mermaid, he was mesmerised.

He had her investigated but nothing could be found from before this year except that she studied at Murphy International university, and had been living in France for over 18 years. being the part of high society and still maintaining such a private life really intrigued him. It made him more interested in her, like mystery waiting to be opened. Of course, the main part of interest is because of her beautiful face and indifferent temperament.

Unfortunately nothing could be found about her schedule, so he had no idea how to meet her. He tried to ask Su Yan but he was tongue tied. As if she has a deep background which can not be exposed.

Nevertheless, no matter what kind of support she had, he wanted her to become his woman. So he wanted to try his luck out with Su Lan today but who knew he would meet her here. Like everyone else his attention was also attracted toward her when she entered the hall, she looked stunning.

He was going to approach her when he saw her going toward main table and sitting with Old Man Su, he retracted his steps, he had guessed she was connected with Su family but never thought she would be so well liked by Old Man Su.

Since she was well liked by Old Man Su, if she could become his girlfriend he would surely benefit, and the contract he has been trying to persuade Su Yan to sign would have no problems. Having such thoughts he came to meet her.

"I never thought of meeting such a gorgeous lady again, surely not at this occasion though. Must say, Miss Lilian is an exceptional person." said Qi Chumian.

"I thank Mr Qi for his praise" The aura around Han Li turned heavy, startling Qi Chumian. But a moment later, it disappeared like it was just an illusion.

She has seen countless greedy eyes of men filled with lust, eyeing her body like they were admiring some sculpture. It revolts her so much that she wishes to yank out those pupils.

"The lady is worthy of the praise." said Qi Chumian. Standing next to Su Lan a young aristocrat lady, Han Li didn't pale in comparison. In fact her aura exceeded Su Lan's, which caused him to think about her background again. Being away from mainland for so many years, she still has an aristocratic air around her.

Thinking so Qi Chumian extended her hand and asked "Since I admire Miss Lilian so much, I would like to ask, may I have your first dance of the night?"

When Han Li heard that she raised her eyebrows, just how anxious is this fellow, to ask her for dance on their first meeting. Su Lan standing next to Han Li was also surprised.

She was just going to reject him on Han Li's behalf when a voice rang in between.

"I am sorry to disappoint you Young master Qi, but I have already asked miss Lilian's for her first dance today" Su Yan walked towards them and said.
