When Su Lan saw Han Li looking so stunning, red hearts appeared in her eyes and she almost stripped. Not to mention boys, even she as a girl, was smitten by her beauty. Her best friend was truly an immortal blessed by heavens to this mortal world. Composing herself Su Lan walked towards Han Li.

With a bright smile, she formally hugged Han Li and teased with hushed voice: "You almost stole my heart, no wonder men are so mesmerized by you."

Han Li showed bright smile making her dimples appear. "You look stunning as well."

Hearing her praise, Su Lan giggled elegantly and winked "I designed it myself, isn't it beautiful?"

"I must say you improved a lot, it seems opening of your brand is just around the corner." It was not just a compliment, she truly thought so.

"Yes! And you know how excited I am! I just signed contract with clothing company last month. If nothing goes wrong, by the start of next year, every socialite and celebrity will be wearing White Rose." exclaimed Su Lan. She has been working on opening her own brand (White Rose) for whole three years. Now that her dream is coming true, it's obvious she was elated.

She would not have to work hard if she hadn't promised her brother to do everything herself and not to use his name. She wanted to horn her business skills and experience hardships, so in the future she could deal with such matters easily and not always needing her brother's help.

"I wish you the best of luck. If you need anything, just contact me" replied Han Li.

"Oh come on! I haven't thanked you yet for the successful collaboration with clothing company. If it wasn't for you, I don't know just how much it would have taken to please their boss" said Su Lan as she cross linked her arms with Han Li's and moved toward the main table.

"If it wasn't for your own hardwork and professionalism, they would not have collaborated with you. I just introduced them to you, you approached them yourself." said Han Li

Hearing that Su Lan just smiled, how can a complete, elaborated and detailed background check be considered as just an introduction.

And she can guarantee Han Li also had Li Yushen call the clothing company, otherwise how could they easily accept so many conditions without any complaints and provide topnotch fabric to a new and emerging brand.

Even though she wanted to do everything on her own without support, she is also aware of the competition in fashion design market. "Grandpa Su" Han Li greeted old man Su with a warm smile.

"Lili, you are here!"

When Old man Su heard Han Li's voice a big smile appeared on his face. He stood up from his seat "Come! come! let grandpa take a better look at you"

He placed his hand on Han Li's head, and warm look appeared on his face. When he thought about his deceased friend, a sad light flashed through his eyes.

Han Li caught the look in grandpa Su eyes and flashed him a bright smile

Her Grandpa and grandpa Su were more than just an acquaintance. Having been friends since their adulthood, they were each others strong backers and advocates. After losing his best buddy, grandpa Su health took a troll and he almost couldn't get out of the bed. He had to recuperate for a whole year to get back on his feet.

"Aish! You just grew up in the blink of an eye" Grandpa Su sighed as he dragged Han Li to sit beside him after she greeted everyone at the table "You should take some free time from work for yourself, look at how skinny you are."

"Yes! She is always busy whenever I call her to hangout" hearing that, Su Lan also complained 

Han Li just smiled helplessly "I have been busy packing up and settling things here. I'll be returning back to mainland next week."

Grandpa Su and Su Lan understood the packing she was talking about. Not everyone in the family was aware of Han Li's identity, especially Su Xi and her father, so they didn't get into detail about that.

Grandpa Su sighed as he thought about that. He really didn't want his friends only descendant to stay away from him and go back, he wanted to see her make her own family and live peacefully here and not to get involved in the mess.

However everyone has their own priorities, and after knowing her resson of returning he knows Han Li will not change her decision easily.

"Now that you are of age you should also consider your marriage, take some time off and roam around maybe you can find your true happiness." Said grandpa Su with heartache. He hoped she could go back to the lovely girl she originally was.

Thinking about marriage, Han Li's eyes went straight towards her wrist, where bracelet was hidden under the wrist scarf, she gently turned the scarf and replied looking helpless "Granpa Su I just turned 22 this year there's still lot of time to talk about my marriage."

"You young people! Don't know why you all like to delay you weddings, I married your grandmother at your age and had this brat at 24. And you think you are still young. Aish! no one understands this old man's worries" he said while pointing at his eldest son.

"That's because you were worried that grandmother would find someone more handsome than you, so you deceived our naive grandma." Su Yan made fun of him.

"What are you talking about, you brat!? I was the most handsome man of the whole city at that time and your grandma loved me." Grandpa Su glared at him and proudly boasted.

Everyone at the table chuckled at this. 

Su Xi saw grandpa Su treating Han Li so affectionately and laughing with others, jealousy flashes through her eyes. She never understood why a person with improper background is always so well treated by everyone in Su family, when she, the member of the Su family is not so well treated and accepted.

At the moment she holds no power to voice out her opinion, when she gget Su family under control she will cut off any relation they have with this low class social climber. Forcing a smile she greeted Han Li and went to meet the guests.
