So here's the plan, we evacuate every citizen we can find and if we can also the military." Jacob responded to Godwin as he was focused on the flight.

"You do know i could get us there faster, right?" Godwin asked, "Sure you could, but you should not. You'll need all your strength that you could get." Was his reply as then they focused on their flight.

(Unknown Location;- Flashback)

Looking at the television as the broadcast ended, the lights turned back on as one the lightbulb popping scaring his mother as she let out a startled scream jumping at the sudden noise, he went and comforted her with a frown not leaving his face all the while staring at the television. He just came back home after his soulsearching, trying to find out more about himself and find he did. Not only did he confirm his origins, but he found out that he was the last of his kind.... that is until the broadcast happened.

(Later that Afternoon)

He went out to clear his mind before coming across the church, he was not a believer of any divine intervention but if there was now was his moments of need. So he went inside, as he he went through the entrance he heard from the radio speaking about him. Asking about his origins and why he did not show himself, he then had a flashback remembering the advice his father gave him when he was still a teenager being bullied.

"You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be, clark. Because whoever that man is, the good character or bad, he's..... going to change the world." Jonathan Kent told him, He was the only father he had ever had growing up but taken from him too soon. He always had ways with words for almost any situations, Lord knows his mother was never the same since his father's passing.

Then the Priest who was mopping noticed him, and dropped the mop elsewhere as he chose to seat down close to him and said " What is on your mind?" Going and sitting on a bench,Clark's mind was still in turmoil on what to do. Looking towards the priest with his eyes pleading for an answer" I don't know where to start....."

The priest told him with understanding "Where ever you want." After a short while after thinking Clark told the priest "The ship that appeared last night,

I am the one that their looking for."

The priest after hearing this gulped then asked nervously "Do you know....why they want you?"

Shaking his head Clark said "No, but this General Zod...even if i surrender there is no guarantee that he will keep his word, But....if there's a chance i can save Earth by turning myself in... should i not take it?" Looking sadly at the lost soul in front of him he asked "What does your gut tell you?"

Clark answered "Zod can not be trusted." seemingly sure of his answered "But the problem is...I am not sure that the people of earth could be trusted either."

The priest looked at Clark, not sure on how to provide an answer that the man in front of him was seeking. Getting up Clark made his way to the exit, getting up as well the priest called out to Clark saying "Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith first." Clark paused by the door hearing this, he went on to tell Clark" The trust part comes later." Clark then looked back at the priest nodding his head in appreciation, he having now made his decision.

At a random military base located in the desert, the military personnel seemingly in a frenzy of non stop movement, multiple anti air heavy machine guns mounted on the humvees and the tanks pointing their cannons upwards with soldiers doing the same. It was simply because they witnessed a feat of impossiblity, a man wearing a suit that had a S inside of shield symbol with a red cape that was flowing with the wind that was floating in the air.

The commander, then came through the soldiers who parted ways for him to pass uninterrupted. Looking at the clearly floating Alien above the soldiers, he spoke to floating being "Alright, You have gotten our attention." He asked"What is it you want?" Wondering why after searching for the alien it just showed itself.

Clark looked down to the General, saying "I would like to speak to Lois Lane." The General the asked in question"What makes you think she's here?" Now looking slighty annoyed Clark responded sternly "Don't play games with me General. I will surrender, but only if you guarantee Lois's freedom."

(Time Skip)

Landing softly to the ground with Lois still clutching him, he asked Lois kindly "Are you alright?" Nodding her head with her face, still pressed against his muscular chest "Yeah" she said softly. Raising her head up they looked at each other before she apologized, " I'm sorry, i did not want to tell them about you but they did something to me. They looked inside my mind...." With her head lowered down sadly. " It's okay Lois, they did the same thing to me" he assured her, looking back at his face nodding in gratitude of his understanding. While he was still looking at her, his face suddenly stiffened as he could hear his mother's scream back at his farm which was a couple of miles away. Blasting off in a hurry as Lois called out to him "Clark!!" She was surprised by his abrupt flight, she wanted to know what could have generated such a response from Clark and luckily for her a police car pulled over close to her in the maze field.

(Kent Farm)

As the alien crafts arrived out of nowhere with a Sonic boom, Martha Kent went outside to see what the commotion was, she saw three alien ships with one of them opening up into stairs as imposing Armored Aliens came walking down.

Walking towards the human in front of him, he asked "The craft he arrived in... where is it?" Looking back his armored face with no fear she responded "Go to hell." With her eyes narrowed. One of the aliens not liking the perceived insult to her superior she walked towards the old woman and raised her by her throat choking her.

Struggling with the alien hands clenching her throat, and trying to free herself and breathe she started to panic eyes roaming everywhere until her eyes landed on a barn. Following her eyes, "There." Zod ordered Pointing towards the barn now having the clear target she tossed the human aside "uhnn!!" she let out a grunt of pain having landed very roughly.

Crouching the female alien jumped with incredible speed and height, crashing all through the metals and woodwork. Landing in front of the kryptonian aircraft, she pulled it asunder searching for what they came for. Nothing finding anything, she once again burst through the roof landing in front of her commander. Walking towards him, she could see from his body language that he was full of anticipation "The Codex is not here." She said in her monotone voice. The thoughts of being so close yet so far filled Zod with an inexplicable rage, barely containing it "ARGH!!!!"

he roared as he took the human's car and tossed it through her house making the human scream in fright as she was still on the floor.

Stomping towards her, he asked Seethingly"Where has he hidden it?!" Shielding her head with her hands feebly "I don't know." She said with fear. Not getting the answer he was looking for,he roared so full of rage "WHERE IS THE CODEX?!!!!"
