Chapter 8

While Zod was interrogating the feeble human, he paused because it was not just him, but his soldiers heard something rapidly approaching them at an incredible speed. As he turned around to order his soldiers to investigate, he was taken by a roaring blur.

Turns out Clark found out what Zod was doing, and he was not happy about it. Letting Zod know that as he pushed him through the corn fields, while pounding his face with his mighty blows. Each time his fist landed on Zod's face he punctuated it with his furious words"YOU THINK (Punch) YOU CAN (Punch) THREATEN (Punch) MY MOTHER?!!

Both of them screaming one in pain and the other in rage, as they burst through the massive Thermal Power Plants before bursting through the gas station.

'Shiiit!! Almost late!" Jacob thought floating using his repulsors to stay at the safest distance, he witnessed both of the kryptonians confrontation. Contacting Godwin to speed up the evacuation of the citizens, getting the confirmation that he was almost done before he saw superman getting shot by the kryptonian ships 'I'm absolutely swiping one of those." Said Jacob to assure himself, after seeing that Zod got away he knew it was far from over.

"Hey Jacob! I'm done, every last citizen is out of the harm's way." Godwin reporting his progress "Well done brother, what about the train station. Are the workers evacuated?" Asked Jacob

"Funny you should ask that, turns out today was their day off...Talk about lucky huh?" Godwin replied, Jacob only chuckled in his response "Really lucky indeed, but I don't want to be that poor sap reporting something going wrong with the trains."

Jacob's words, only serving only to confuse Godwin he was soon next to Jacob staring at the conflict and asked "What makes you say that?" Not replying this time, only pointing toward the two armored aliens and another one wearing a blue overall suit with a red cape having a mexican standoff.

Jacob saw his hud indicator flashing with the report of military jets inbound, He told Godwin " Do you see that Big Guy?" Looking to where Jacob was pointing towards "That is one big motherf@#ker, why?"

"He is going to be going on a killing spree, try to save the pilots." Jacob said as he then blasted off, making Godwin confused 'Pilots?' then his enhanced hearing picked up the sounds of the jets 'Ahhh!! That's what he meant' That explained what Jacob meant, so he then gathered more star energy blasted off as well when he saw the big guy planning to go through one of the jets. Soon reaching the jet and seeing the big guy about to hit it he gave the big guy his energy infused punch, which not only knocked Nam'ek off his trajectory but also sending him flying off in a sonic boom.

Jacob not delaying either was flying towards Nam'ek that was approaching him, gathered energy towards his chest sending Nam'ek soaring in the air with his UniBeam.

While the duo was tag teaming The bigger alien, Clark was not having it any easier. Never learning how to fight now came to bite him in the ass. Flying through a building sliding on his back as Faora, started to mock him in her monotonous voice" You are weak, son of El.....unsure of yourself." With her emotionless smirk, frustrated Clark flied towards her sending a flurries of hits which she dodged and blocked effortlessly after which she sent him to a wall with a well placed punch.

Not stopping "The fact that you possess a sense of morality... And we do not....gives us the evolutionary advantage." Looking at her from the floor he tries once more to shut her up, only for her to catch him by his throat and slam a devastating blow to his face sending him to the floor. Seeing him disoriented she continues "And if history has proven anything...." While grabbing him and tossed him out of the building at a blur of incredible speed, Clark crashed through a bank with his back deeply buried in the metal safe. Faora following him crashed right through the roof, landing in front of him as he pulled himself out of the metal panting. She finished her words "....it is that the evolution always wins." Clark clearly fed up with her yapping, just roared with a frustrated scream slamming into her with super speed sending both of them flying off the building.

A driver parked his trash truck behind a building, coming out of the truck he started patting his hands on his pockets searching for his smoke. Finding it he rejoiced, turns out he still had some more left than he expected. When he was about to light his cigarettes a speeding mass of blur slammed onto the truck not just rocking it. But making him bend over and cover his head in panic, then the truck rocked violently again.

Flying up out a truck was Clark as he then followed after her, her body slamming through another building "UGH!!" As she groaned in pain,after which her instincts roared at her to move which she did. Immediately sliding out of danger, and not a second later Clark landed where she previously was. Getting ready to fight as Clark flew at her before his feet got caught by a battered Nam'ek who then threw him over his shoulder and slammed him on the floor.

Once again raised and slammed him again on the floor, the asphalt breaking at the brutal beatdown. Clark weakly raising himself while his head spinning Nam'ek went on to punt him in the direction of Faora who then slammed her fist at his fast approaching body. Her fist landing on his face got him sliding through the concrete of the asphalt, Faora then turned toward the body of Kal'el.

At a different location we could see something laying buried against the wall covered in bricks, the armor sparkling while having many dents of it Jacob soon woke up. Groaning while trying to get up slowly he looked at the condition of his suit, it was damaged but not to the extent he was worried about.

Suddenly the weight pressing down on him disappeared, looking up he saw Godwin lifting up the heavy load and toss it elsewhere. Stretching out his arm he helped Jacob stand on his feet, looking at his friend who was not in any better condition than himself he said out of breath "The soldiers, they will get slaughtered...." Godwin tried to assure him "It's okay, I'll go and stop her." Shaking his head in refusal, Jacob told him "No, just get the soldiers to safety. I'll only have to distract her, you just get the soldiers away." Godwin asked him "Brother i don't think you can take anymore of their hits, how do you plan on stopping her?"

Raising his left fist as the armor shifted around his left wrist, showing the Omnitrix in plain view. Looking at Jacob and then the Omnitrix he was conflicted saying "But you said---"

"I know what i said, but in no decision of mine will i risk the safety of others. I need to act now!" Jacob said with urgency interrupting Godwin, as he started to switch between the aliens. Godwin looked on, as he was interested on what he was doing before Jacob said the line that would create a legend " It's hero time" a bright flash engulfed both of them.
