Emperor's Clash

The four leaders were watching on Percy's ship as Kaidou and Attun confronted each other off of Risky Red Island. The two emperors stared at each other, both were in their zoan forms, one was a humongous dragon floating in the air, the other was a gigantic sea serpent swimming in the ocean.

"Oh...this is like a monster battle" Borsalino commented as he looked out towards the soon to be battlefield. "This is like every kid's fantasy."

"Humph" Sakazuki snorted, "these all these two pirates are doing is posturing around. Just get it over with already."

"Calm down" Percy said as he was chewing on some popcorn. "They're probably going to talk a bit first anyways."

Dragon was silent as he saw the two emperors, a frown on his face.

It was quiet before Kaidou started to speak,

"Wororororo Attun, it seems like your half baked lizard powers self has finally decided to face me."

"Yeah" Attun said, "I decided it was time to kill you, I don't want others to confuse myself with you any longer."

"Nonsense" Kaidou admonished. "Anyone who has half a brain knows that I am the far superior one out of the two of us."

"LALALALA, and yet they compare us. How odd" Attun laughed. "My tridents, slaughter!"

Attun's men roared and started to charge towards Kaidou's crew. Not to be outdone, Kaidou's second in command, King, raised is sword and started to charge back.

"And here we go" Borsalino said with a smile on his face.

It's been 2 days since the emperors started clashing. Kaidou and Attun were constantly throwing tsunamis and tornadoes at each other without giving the other party a break.

"Bolo Breath" Kaidou shouted as a beam of fire came from his mouth

"Rainy Day" Attun shouted back as he too shot out a water beam

The two attacks met in the middle with no progress being made.

"They seem pretty even" Dragon commented as he ate his lunch on the marine battleship next to the other vice admirals and Percy.

"For now, the balance should be broken soon though" Percy said as he too was slurping on ramen.

"What do you mean?" asked Orange

"It's stamina" answered Sakazuki

"Correct" said Percy. "Kaidou is known as a monster for a reason. Even only label Attun an emperor only because of his devil fruit ability nothing more. Kaidou is different. He is a genuine emperor. His physique makes him unique and he mastered at least one form of haki. That is something Attun never did."

"So...the battle should be over soon?" Borsalino asked as he looked on.

"Yea, I guess that Attun should be trying to run away any minute now. The question is if Kaidou will chase or not" Dragon said.

"Kaidou will chase" Percy said definitively. "If there is one thing about Kaidou that is certain, it's that he is the type to either try kill Attun or break his spirit and force him to submit to him. We cannot have Attun join Kaidou's crew. That is the worst case scenario for us."

"Agreed" Sakazuki nodded his head. "We will have to kill Attun at that time if he tries to join Kaidou."

The other vice admirals all nodded their heads in understanding, they too did not want to have 2 emperors part of one crew again.

The battle was hitting a climax

"Wororororororo, tired Attun? I never guessed you would be this weak. Doesn't matter. What's wrong? Fish tired to fight?"

[Dammit] Attun thought as he pushed a large hammer made out of water at Kaidou. The emperor in the air scoffed and sent air blades down and sliced the water into small pieces.

Attun noticed that his attacks have been becoming less effective as the battle been dragging on, so he's been looking for an opportunity to escape. He knows that as long as he reaches the depths of the ocean, Kaidou can't reach him. His crew can be rebuilt, he isn't concerned about that, what he is hesitant about is the marine battleships in the distance. Both Kaidou and Attun noticed them by now, how could they have not. It was not like they were hiding, the marines were idly watching as they fought.

Attun wouldn't care if the navy spectated because he thought no one strong would be here monitoring the battle, he was wrong. There, surrounded by 3 vice admirals was the newly appointed admiral of the navy Kurosai. What really pissed off Attun was that Kurosai treated his fight as a spectacle, only eating and laughing at his fight. He was getting angrier and angrier. But what could he do?

[Nothing] Attun thought as he planned to dive into the water. [Mark my words Kaidou and Kurosai. Both of you will pay for this.]

"Where are you going!" Kaidou shouted as Attun sped into the water. He knew that there was no feasible way for him to catch Attun unless they were battling on land. He felt aggrieved, he needed to vent his anger, so Kaidou turned his attention to the marines.

"You!" he said as he started to channel his Bolo breadth. "It's all your fault"

"Admiral" Borsalino said as he saw the beam of hot fire head to their ships, "I think, we need to engage."

"Indeed" Percy said as he started to channel darkness from his body. "Get ready. You 3, capture as much pirates as possible, I'll handle Kaidou."

Dragon, Borsalino, and Sakazuki nodded their heads and jumped onto their respective ships and headed towards the island hoping to capture as much pirates as possible.

"Now" Percy said as he stared as the huge dragon, "Shall we begin?"
