Aaliyah's Pov

Hospital

It was two o'clock in the morning when liam fell asleep. Daniel couldn't take his eyes off his son while he was sleeping soundly. They talked a lot about father and son thing, they were very happy while bonding. It's nice to see them because they almost look alike. He was happy with liam's wit and intelligence so he decided not to go home tonight. When Liam fell asleep, I immediately made coffee for him and for me because I know we have a lot of questions for each other tonight here at Liam's VIP room.

"How are you?" He seriously asked.

'Im ok' I said smiling to him. I can't tell him that I'm not okay.

'I don't know where to start, I was surprised to see you again.' He said seriously. He's starting to open up the topic years ago.

'Me too. Actually, I saw your poster in our office. I knew right away that it was you' I told him honestly.

'Why didn't you come?'he asked me seriously. That's how it is. That's the question I want to hear.

His eyes were looking directly at me.

'Why didn't you wait?' I asked him again.

'Why did you give the wrong account?' he asked in return. What he is probably referring to my facebook that I gave to him. I lost my cell phone then and maybe the person who got my cell phone deactivated it.

'I lost my cell phone at the bar that day along with my other stuff because there was a commotion then, maybe that was the time we were being chased' I explained to him.

But I saw on his face that he was not very satisfied with my answer. He didn't seem to believe it.

'Why did you suddenly move house?' He asked again.

'How did you know?' -me

'I went to the place where I took you before. I asked the people there, and I'm looking for your house, but I don't have a picture, so I'm only holding on to Ali Mendoza. And your neighbors say you've moved and no one knows where you've moved.' He said at length with resentment if I'm not mistaken. I also noticed that he doesn't speak very sparingly now.

'Mama, are we going back to grandma again?' My son asked while Daniel and I were in the car. Daniel looked at us from the front mirror. He will take us home. Lyca and Nik were in convoy with us.

Daniel and I almost didn't sleep last night because of the amount of talk we had. I almost told him the story of my life with liam since I gave birth and while liam was growing up.

'No my child. The doctor needs to check on you to make sure there's no illness' I explained to him.

'Yehey. Shall I stay a long time with you mom?' he asked in disbelief.

Because he is always sad when it's time for him and grandma to return to our province :(

'Yes my child!hehehe' I said laughing while touching my son's nose. I saw Daniel's smile from the front mirror.

We are going home now. Daniel also begged that he wanted to meet my family, he is liam's father. I don't know but I feel happy about this part. Even if it's all for Liam, I can't help but be happy in this moment.

It also took us an hour to drive from Nik's hospital to our house.

When we got home, they all couldn't believe it, my grandmother, my mother and my sister when they met my son's father. They were all amazed of course because he was in the car and still had his coat on.

Daniel hadn't changed yet because he had just come home from work when he suddenly ran to the hospital yesterday.

We all shared a meal at a dining table. Daniel ordered a lot of food for all of us. Even though our house is not that big, I felt like he and Nik felt at home. Nik became close to mom, he immediately got her heart.

Meanwhile, grandma and Daniel talked the whole time when they stayed at the province while he held his son who became clingy to him immediately.

They immediately accepted Daniel because they knew that he didn't mean to run away from me. They know the reason why we didn't meet before.

'Ahhh Aunt, Grandma, if you don't mind, I would like to move you in another house' Daniel said seriously.

We were all surprised by what he said.

'to where do we move to just in case? Aaliyah worked hard to make this house just for her, she even took it out from the government' grandma was the first to answer to him.

'It's not because I don't want this house for you, but because the child is sick and the doctor's advice is that the child cannot be exposed to pollution. He took one of my hands and held it.

'Ali' he called my name while still holding my hand. I don't know what to say.

I can't deprive him of the right to get back his son. I don't know what's on his mind. I only know one thing, he is happy to know that he has a child.

I also don't want to begrudge my son the luxury, especially if I can't give it to him.

Meanwhile, Liam is smiling and loading his daddy again.

'Thank you, the size of this house is great! Isn't it too much?' Grandma said while fixing her personal belongings.

Daniel's household belongings are almost complete, we just need to live in them.

'Thank you. I can't believe we're going to live here. The house is beautiful, and it's big. Your the best' said mom with a wink at Daniel.

They were sitting on the sofa next to my sister who was staring at the whole house.

'There is nothing aunty' he said to mom.

'You can take some of your things upstairs.. We'll just take liam to his room' I told mom.

'Let's put him in the room' I said to Daniel. He obeyed immediately.

'Okay. Don't let the child get tired, go upstairs and take a rest,' said mom as we were going upstairs.

We answered together.

We are going up to the second floor. Liam fell asleep playing with his pet shihtzu that his daddy gave him.

Early this morning we moved and traveled here to Makati City to bring our things here.

Liam's room is at the end, mine is next. Our house has five rooms. And in each room, there is own bathroom and comfort room. It's very classy and esthetic. Grandma and my brother will share the room, mom will be alone, and Liam and I will have one each. Because Daniel wants to train the child alone in the room so that he can grow up. 'No. It's not a big deal. And one more thing, I'm getting back to you and liam. And I'm happy for doing this. He said. I don't know what to answer.

I was suddenly touched by what he said.

'Yes, by the way, I will go to work tomorrow,' I told him. He frowned. It seems that he didn't like what I said.

'Maybe it's better that you stay at home. Just take care of Liam. I'll take care of you and the rest' he replied.

That's what I didn't like about what he said. Of course I have pride too.

'No please. I accepted our move here because I know it's for liam, and we both want the child to be in a good place, and I'm happy about that, but I want to make a living for my family. I understand that you want to get back, and you're rich so you can give whatever it is, but I don't want our food here or the bills here are your responsibility either. Let me continue to work' I gave him a long explanation that I knew he understood. I don't want to be a burden to him. It's not because we have a child, I will use the child for our sake.

I didn't think he was such a responsible person.

'I just want to ask you something, since you are my boss, and I am an employee of your company. I don't want anyone to know about us. And I hope we don't make it obvious that we know each other because I don't want my colleagues to think and talk about me otherwise,' I told him.

It took a long time before he answered.

'Hey. How are you?' while I was walking to the elevator, someone suddenly spoke behind me.

It's Vince. He's smiling at me.

'It's okay. You? How are you.' I said smiling at him.

'How is Liam? I'm sorry that I didn't visit the hospital, I can't come because Daniel and I can't absent at the same time, and he's on leave..' He told me. He already knows that I have a child, and the father is his friend. Nik told him everything, then he called me once to confirm if what he found out was true. He was also surprised and suddenly I filed for emergency leave. I also told him the truth. I also found out that the three of them, Daniel and Nik, are best friends.

'He's okay. And he is happy in our new house' I told him.

'Can you invite me? To your new house?' He asked me smiling.

'Sure' I answered smiling at him

'Really? All right. Later, huh? It's mine to go with. I'll take you home' he said smiling. Omg this man, it's early morning.

We are smiling to each other while waiting at the elevator.

We both turned to hear a familiar voice.

It's Daniel. He's looking straight at me with a blank face and a death stare.

Oh no..

His look is a bit creepy and scary.

Something's wrong with his stare.
