Hunting Wolves

While Zacharias was peacefuly gathering herbs and making future plans on how should he conquer this world a loud howl disturbed his peace.He looked up and saw a huge wolf running towards him.

Zacharias immediately stood up and took a step to the right dodging the rushing attack of wolf.With the dagger in his left hand Zacharias confronted the wolf head on.The wolf quickly runned to him and tried to claw his rear which he dodged perfectly.

Zacharias counter attacked the wolf by swinging his dagger on a vertical and fast motion then stabbed the wolf with a reverse grip.The wolf groaned painfully but its injuries were massive.With each attack Zacharias damaged only vitals and because of that the wolf was struggling to stand up.

He didn't wait even a minute and rushed with full speed.Zacharias jumped up high then with the falling momentum stabbed the wolf cracking its skull.With a low shriek wolf died on the spot.He was tired but a sound made him smile.

"Just killing one wolf was enough for me to level up.Seems like this world isn't weak as i thought.This wolf was easy for me to kill with my high stats but not everyone here has stats like mine."Said Zacharias and focused on the warm sensation covering his body.It was due to the after effects of leveling up.

Warm sensation continued on for thirty seconds more, then it gradually stopped.Zacharias can feel the power surging through his body like lightning.Even one point in stat was like heaven and earth.With his already high stats he'll be unstopabble in the future if he play his cards right.

Zacharias looked at the corpse of wolf he killed and decided to skin it fur while claiming some of its meat for himself to eat it.He still needs a inn to stay and it was getting late too.

Zacharias gathered every medical herb he can then started to skin the wolf before it gets too dark.Even if he is powerful he can't risk his life.Zacharias doesn't know how to skin an animal but he tried it anyways.His dagger wasn't that sharp but it wasn't dull neither.

He started by placing the wolf on a flat surface then started a cut from its anus and resumed it up to lower lip of wolf.He made a good job for a first time but because of his dagger the cut wasn't straight.There was some chipped places here and there.He resumed the cut to wolf's legs then opened it with his bare hands.Then removed it from the wolf.

The skin was at least in one piece so it could fetch a good price but there was come cuts which can reduce it too.After the skinning process Zacharias cut the ribcage of the wolf and took some of the meat.While it was enough for him he decided take some more and sell it too.

With bloody hands he stored the fur and meat in a tattered sack which he got from adventurer's guild as well.He runned to the village gates and reached there without a problem in 20 minutes.Guards saw him and opened the way then he went to the adventurer's guild in order to get his money.

He was really tired.In the first day he find life he killed a wolf and gathered some herbs.He even leveled up too! His talent was heaven defying but he doesn't have the time for useless things.He was already entering the adventurer's guild.

Zacharias looked around and tried to find the receptionist girl he talked in the morning.There was many new faces in the guild some of them were wearing masks too.It was really a beautiful sight.There was some new receptionists too which are busy right now.

He checked the area and found the lady he talked in the morning.He walked next to her and submitted all of the medical herbs.Receptionist lady became shocked and her eyes became wide open.It wasn't that surprising to see someone giving medical herbs, the surprising thing is the one giving is a 15 year old kid and on top of that he finished the mission in nearly one and a half hour.

She smiled at Zacharias and gave him his hard earned money which is one silver equal to 100 copper coin.He decided to sell the fur in the adventure guild too.Zacharias took out his tattered sack and displayed the one piece wolf skin.

Receptionist was shocked one more time but she was getting used to this kid so her face didn't change much.She looked at the fur closely and spoke.

"This is a fur of Wild Wolf.They are lowest grade monsters which hunts in pack but seems like you came across an abandoned one.It can fetch a good price, at least for 60 copper coins.Normally this fur can sold for one silver but it is damaged so the much i can give is 60.Sorry!"She said with a sad face.It seems like she does really care about the little boy infront of her.

Zacharias didn't mind it though.It was his first skinning process and he did good too.He sold the fur and with his new wallet which contains one silver and sixty copper coins travelled in the city to find a good inn.

He walked for a bit and found a inn named "Black Pearl Inn" next to the guild.He went inside and a warm air welcomed him with a receptionist boy waiting.He has cat ears and a tail accompanied by whisks on his mouth.

"Is there any available room which i can stay?"Zacharias talked and looked at the cat boy.

"Welcome sir! We have available rooms which costs twenty copper coins per day.If you want dinner it will be twenty five copper coins."Said cat boy with an awkward accent.

Zacharias rented a room for one day with a dinner and paid his money.Then he asked if there is any chance he can cook which the cat boy agreed.He went to kitchen in order to cook some wolf meat.
