"He's helped my family a lot," she held a finger for a dragonfly to perch at. I watched as its little wings flutter busily "I wouldn't feel this indebted to him if he didn't do those things. But I should feel thankful since he helped me rise up to my feet when I had fallen deeply in despair. And above all, he accepted me for who I really am."
I smiled at how gullible she was. Any rotten liar could appear kind if they wanted to.
"He must have had been so generous," I replied sarcastically while I snatched some fries from her.
She nodded, "Yeah."
I took a handful. And then some more.
"You're right. Fries really do help relieve stress," I said as I munched on the fried snack.
She noticed my appetite and gave me the other untouched large pack of fries.
"You easily let yourself get fooled," I couldn't help but express my honest thoughts.
She blushed, "Why do you think so?"
"I'm sorry but you're stupid."
"Huh?"
"Your boyfriend is lying about something. Find out what it is," I advised, "And quit that relationship if you can't love him back sincerely. It's selfish."
The tall grass ahead rustled in the air.
"Easy for you to say," Her words were nearly a whisper, "My debt of gratitude is unpayable that's why I can't. As much as I wanted to, I just can't."
I was worried he has done something much more, "Did he ask you to do something against your will?"
I'll hunt him down if he did.
"I went with him to a bar to meet his friends and then he had few drinks. I don't imbibe alcoholic beverages but there's nothing I can do," her eyes were to the ground as she recalled.
Nothing else?
"Who's that bastard?"
