51 Chapter 59 Your Crazy Don t You?

Rhio POV s

I parked the car just beside the highway and she looked at me with worry.

"We're trespassing you know," she warned when I opened the car door.

"Maybe."

"I know this place," her eyes brightened. "This place used to be farmed by my late mother's family."

"Farmed?" I raised my brow.

"Yup. My mom once brought me here when I was young. Until one day this was mortgaged and bought by the Zel Cantheliz. I just couldn't believe how rich that family is!"

I was at loss for words.

Something important to her had been taken by my family.

"You're really noisy, aren't you?"

She vigorously ran first to the grassland while I took the food we ordered and followed slowly. The wind kissed my skin roughly as I travelled down. The big tress were aflutter and their shadow perfectly shaded us from the heat.

She was waving her arms at me.

I doted at her as I walk.

Everything about her was making me feel at ease.

"This place is still so pretty, she exclaimed as she her arms in the air like an airplane and ran towards me. She jumped when she got nearer and hugged me surprisingly.

"Oops," she suddenly realized and withdrew her arms that clung to me, "Sorry."

"It's okay," I gave her the bag of fast food. "I heard your phone rang. It must be your boyfriend."

She smiled sadly and sat on the grass. "It's fine. I'm smitten by guilt every time I remember him."

"Why?" I sat down cross legged beside her and began unwrapping my burger that had lost its warmth already.

"I…don't really love him."

I was suddenly interested then looked her questioningly in the eyes.

"So," I paused when she offered me some fries, "why did you accept his affection? Don't you think you're cheating him in a way by doing something like that?"

"Ouch," She raised a brow and looked at me in mock disbelief, "He's a very kind man so I hated to hurt his feelings. But maybe if I didn't say yes…"

I waited for every words that she'll say.

"I wouldn't know who he truly is," she sighed. "Every day, his true colors show."

"Men were always kind at first," I gabbed, "But women still fall for that sham."

"I don't know. All I wanted that moment was for him to be happy," she breathed heavily "So everything in consequence is just fine."

"Are you really crazy?" I said frankly as I grinned, "To sacrifice your own happiness for others happiness?"
