Dawn Of Destruction

Before you start reading, remember that this is a work of fantasy and any terminology found is an idea thought of by the author. I have no intention of offending anybody with this book, and if I have so far then I wholeheartedly apologize for that. ... It was a game, that is what it was, or at least that is what it was supposed to be. On the last day of the MMORPG LORDS, a day signifying its ultimate end, the high rankers of the game came together to stage an event, a PVP event to once and for all determine who the greatest player is. As one of the high-rankers, Sango as well participated in the game, getting to the last draw with his opponent. That was his last memory of LORDS, of his comrades and the world known to him as Earth. Awakening his eyes, his vision displayed before him a horrendous scene accompanied by a child monster kin, with a statue of himself versed as incarnate of authority. He was told that he had become a God in this new world, a God hated and feared by all for what he represents. The ones who acknowledged themselves as his followers were brutally murdered, and deemed heretics who were against the laws of the nine Gods. The last surviving follower beseeched unto him for might so that revenge can be claimed on those responsible for the massacre of her tribe. This is a story about a God walking down the path of destruction, staying true to his heritage.

Path To Becoming An Apostle

"wow..... You heal really fast".

Getha saw how Sango had attempted to cut his palm open for blood to come out. She was extremely surprised to not see any blood after piercing himself with the ice dagger he conjured up.

Not on the dagger or on his palm that had just been cut open.

Although his expression wasn't showing it, Sango shared in Getha's surprised concerning what happened to his palm.

"maybe I should just pray to you instead, and you will adhere to my prayers to make me an Apostle".

The wound he gave himself heals faster than the flow of the blood in his vein. If it kept on going like that, it was obvious that Getha would never be able to see his blood much less have a taste of it.

She also does not feel comfortable about the idea of drinking his blood.

"no, the blood pact should be more effective than the prayer pact, so we are going to do that".

This was Sango's thinking, not a theory he derived from seeing an experimental story, but one he came up with from understanding the process of how it worked.

Prayer is not necessarily going to link them together but a blood pact is different.

As a God, Sango's blood alone is meant to carry some distinctive power flowing within it, just like how his mana was able to hurt him whereas an ordinary weapon couldn't.

"but there is no way to make you bleed".

"let's come to that conclusion after I have tried everything possible"

Sanho casted the ice dagger spell again with the ice immediately forming on his palm.

He stabbed his left palm with the ice dagger. This time he made sure not to remove it but to still keep it in.

Getha felt nauseated seeing a dagger implanted in his palm and coming out from the other side.

"is it not painful".

Getha who was not the one experiencing having a dagger stuck in her palm, could already feel the pain from just looking at the scene.

She wondered how the one whose body is experiencing the event feels about it, the pain or discomfort that comes along with it.

"i don't feel any pain from it. Just a slight discomfort on how my hand movements are restricted".

From the part of the dagger that was stuck in between Sango's palm, he crafted out thorns from it, making it the size of a string and extending the range so that it cuts deeper into the inner part of him.

When he was done, he retracted the dagger from his palm, pulling it all out along with the strings like ones attached to the dagger.

When he pulled it out, the middle of the dagger has been crafted into a star like form attached to a tower, with the strings acting as the shapes of the star and the dagger as the tower.

Similar to when a banana is peeled only halfway through.

His hand that was wounded, also had a star mark on it after it was removed, leading all the way to his veins, but the star was quick to clear away thanks to his regeneration.

"that is so disgusting".

Getha saw the shape of the dagger that came out from Sango's palm, and she felt horrified by it, by how something like that could be thrusted into a person's body.

"it is also what is going to help you get stronger".

Sango did not just create the strings shaped like a star for his own amusement, or to see how tolerant he is against objects coursing directly into his inner body.

No. He did it so that the strings that were directed into the inner part of his body would soak itself in his blood and when he ends up removing it from the body, it would still have remnants of his blood on it.

What he did worked out well for him, as the string part of the dagger had his blood still on it, a black ominous looking blood.

"here you go".

He handed it over to Getha who reluctantly collected it from him and stared at it in disgust.

"open your mouth and place the dagger above it".

Getha did as Sango had instructed her to. When she did, the dagger that was above her mouth dissolved into water and all went into her mouth.

Sango was able to control the range of the dissolved ice so none of it will spill on the ground or on her body.

Getha also made sure to swallow every single one of it, even though she feels very uncomfortable about it.

"how do you feel".

Sango monitored Getha's reaction to see what changes there will be in her outer appearance.

"i feel........urghurgh!!"

Getha was about to reply Sango when she felt sickish. Her insides felt like there were getting squashed and mashed together.

In no time, she lost her strength and feel to the ground squirming about in extreme pain that was very visible in her body expressions.

"i.......it......it....hur..."

She couldn't complete whatever words she wanted to say as the pain took over her mouth, coursing through every nerves in her body and tormenting her miserably.

Getha continued to roll herself on the ground in intense agony while Sango just stood there observant of her behavior.

"hmm......does that mean its working?"

Sango has yet to try this before, so he does not know what sort of reaction to his blood is a sign that it is working, or a reaction that shows that it is going to end up in negative with something bad happening to her.

"ple....ma.....it....st...."

Her words were broken in between as she was only able to take advantage of her mentality to subdue the pain before speaking.

It was too overwhelming for her to keep the pain in check so she could speak, hence the reasons for her only managing to speak in broken words.

Sango was able to understand what she said without the need for her to complete her sentence or rephrase it for him to hear.

There is no one who would be in her condition that will not wish for the pain to stop one way or the other.
